I just took the COVID19 version of the NCLEX-RN exam on April 22nd and passed with the minimum of 60 questions. My exam was previously canceled twice before that. Just stay positive, keep studying and check everyday for availability at your testing center. When I chose my test day (for the 3rd time) I only had a weeks notice to mentally prepare for the “dreaded” NCLEX, but I never stopped studying so that gave me hope. So don’t be discouraged. God is good and what is meant for you will happen. Praying for all my fellow nursing students out there. I understand all the frustrations, but be strong & don’t give up!
Taylor Dunnings I used ReMar Review Quick Facts for NCLEX along with the DVD’s that Regina has. Then in conjunction I purchased Uworld for questions & read every rational. I got lucky because they extended the subscription to uworld (due to test cancelations) so everyone could keep studying, so that was really nice. I tried doing Suanders at first, but it’s just so much information. I personally just couldn’t get through it all. Are you scheduled to test soon?
In my area they will be open for the next month the entire month there's 10 days open. I have been canceled 3 times, I'm so happy that I going to take my test week.
camilla kamille I was done in about an hour and a half! Girl trust me I know how you feel, my anxiety was through the roof lol. I was honestly prepared to be there for the entire 4 hours, so I was definitely shocked. Thank you so much, stay calm you got this!!!
Want to add - I had my exam postponed twice - this last time on the 6th...had an opening following day on feb 7th ... took my nclex & passed yall. God is good. Remember to stay focused and seize your opportunity once its available.

Had the same problem 2 weeks ago. I got my ATT after failing the first time and waiting 45 days. There were no available appointments for Florida until September but I didn’t give up & kept checking the website & luckily they had posted more dates for the end of this month. Just took my exam and passed with 64 questions, thank God 🙏🏼💖 The exam wasn’t too hard in my opinion but some questions were a little tricky. I also didn’t have that many select all that apply’s. Please keep checking Pearson, don’t give up! You came this far. You never know whether they decide to post new dates!
Amen! I agree! That’s exactly what I’ve been saying... We can take it at home! We can have a proctored online service with a virtual proctor to watch us online. My exam has been cancelled 3 times already in GA and no centers open in my state until June! Something must be done.
lxlucylu88 you cannot cheat with online proctoring. We used online proctoring when I was taking my prerequisites and had online exams. There is a proctor watching you through the camera on your computer the entire time you are testing. You have to show them all of your surroundings via the camera before your test can even begin. Besides NCLEX questions are mainly clinically judgement based so you either know the information or not and cheating would not even help you to get questions correct in my opinion. They’ve cancelled my exam 3 times because of this COVID-19 and they have already made the GRE, MCAT and SAT and other licensing exams available online for those effected. Why not Nurses who are needed now more than any of these other professions???
A lot of exceptions have been made and I think this is absolutely one of them!!!! The exam have been written different in the past which has been much easier for other nurses over the new comers. The NCLEX have been offered many different ways in the past! It’s not fair to us new nurses for this to be happening to. Thanks for advocating for us! May God bless you!!
I got mine cancelled 2 times and the 3rd time I had only a day away and the kind of questions I met there looks like I've never learned anything as a student, I'm going to register again though they said I should wait for 45 days.......it's not over until it's over, I will keep taking it until I get my license I'm broken right now but God will see me through
Thank you so much for this presentation. I think Pearson is making the exam very difficult for new graduates, I spent two year in the school of nursing, got my diploma, and now for my licence exam. I sat for the exam twice and did not make it, I studied and studied for nursing course but what I saw in exam is quite different. They should please text us on nursing and not medical, we are called caregivers. However, I must continue to take it until I got my licence. I am not happy about the whole thing.
I was ready to test mid way through march and got sucked into this mess... i live in Ohio and had to try so many different test centers. i tried at least 6 times before i got the chance to test and called every time and they barely answered the phone and just told me to try and reschedule on Pearson vue. very frustrating but i did get the chance to test early in april. they even let me come in the test center at 7:30 to start early and i got out by 9am. finished in 60 questions and had to wait about 6 days before i got an email saying i passed. One of the most stressful things i have ever gone through, but just stay positive and don't give up!!
Even about entrance exam for different schools of nursing, can you please talk about it, some schools made it difficult to get in and study for nursing, their score is 80 or 70 % , you get 60 or 64 % and you can't get it unless you get the actual mark they want, can the schools reduce the entrance mark exam to enable ppl get into school and get their certificate please
Can I correct a notion here,this changes is not just happening with the US and Canada testing centres.I live in the UK and the only centre here in London,UK is going through all these changes.And yes my test has been unscheduled too for the 2nd time since the COVID-19.

US needs nurses badly, however teachers keep on torturing nursing students even in their prerequisites and the country end up recruiting nursing graduates from other countries as long as they pass the nclex and have hospital experience. The country became discriminatory to the citizens and immigrants by keeping this practice.
Yes, I'm currently enrolled in a PN program and we have class on ZOOM, test on ZOOM, academic meetings on ZOOM, remediation on ZOOM. We are watched like a hawk. It can be done they just need to figure it out.
If you schedule and they canceled call Pearson vue they will extend for u until December 2020.If your Nclex ATT going to expired call them they will gv u an extension.

Good point on that Regina, regarding taking the exam at home it will save Pearson vue a whole lot of trouble. It's convenient faster n cheaper for them.

Uworld to me isnt that great and is nothing like the real test. Way overrated. Focus your studies on Prioritization and Delegation of RN PN and CNA not so much medsurg. Remar Quickfacts is God of NCLEX studying. Builds your foundation well. NCLEX is a demanding test. You will never feel whole or like you studied enough. It was an experience and I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy. That's just my story. Hated the cost hated the test and hated the stress it put on my heart. 😥
The board testing is not always fair to everyone.some people do not know the answer. Due to the fact, they know are to guest very well they pass. On the other hand, some students know the answer anxiety back them off specially foreign students. I believe board testing is just money making. The work place, and Board test is night and day. The board is not always making candidates smattered. Many things people are learning stay with the school, and the board. Why is all this hard time with candidates for. When big need on health care this is wrong ways with the board...
I live in Ohio, our government, with the Ohio board of nursing, has passed a temporary law that allows nursing students in their last semester to work with a temporary license for 90 days. I’m graduating this week from an ADN program.
I'm here in Fl and just this past Tuesday I set my nclex date for june 16th in Savannah Ga, because there is no dates available in Florida until September....September...this is crazy

Students please be patient- use this time to study. I do not like the idea of testing students at home. People have gotten so dishonest today- there are lots of high tech discreet cameras out there. Students may try to record these nclex questions. Trust me people spend more time on finding ways to cheat than to study. NO TESTING IN HOME PLEASE. RN BSN
Remax, I have a question? What about those retesters, are those failed test scores forgiven or counted? Considering the circumstances. And those retesters that are within their five year mark, are they penalized next year in having to do all the update paperwork all over again just to retest the third time around? These are my questions.
You' re absolutely right they should have it implemented at home, it will be a better success rate as well, because the student will be comfortable within their own environment. That was a great question that you asked them!
I agree with you, the best solution is taking the test online at home to not pass through exam' cancelations . But I don't know how we could do to make the Board to accept that but in all the States .
I got cancelled 4hrs before my exam. I was asking them for a week before the schedule, and I was advised to continue because there was no cancellation announcement. My schedule was the same day our government announced the total lockdown in Manila. I was soooo disappointed. They should've just let me take the exam. I was already there the day before my schedule 😭😭
Honestly, I feel kind of demoralized, because ncsbn and pearson vue should have prepared for this eventuality. And are they giving priority to new graduates?
This is super annoying. I was scheduled to take my exam May 6! Had to reschedule.... I’m not sure if I’m able to fly because my country is just now opening in phase 1 to get back normal. Praying I am able to fly out to take the exam. It Sucks to be from an island at a time like this. Sigh
Hi question, I have my associates in nursing that I graduated back in 2016 but I didn’t pass my NCLEX 3 times in FL and I haven’t study ever since because I got complaining with my current LPN job,but throughout this pandemic I notice that we didn’t have enough RN. I no longer leave in FL , I’m in NC . So do I have to do a remedial and what is your opinion on Uworld , is that the best program out there to study? Thank you and God bless
i took my exam April 1st, I took 1 hr and passed at 60 questions. was it hard or easy? it wasn't super hard but it also wasn't a walk in the park. with that being said a lot of my other classmates took their exams and had completely different exams than i did , took longer times, and had different questions, but still passed! my advice is to relax and to trust yourself. You may know more than you think (:

I took mine last Thursday and it was very challenging, did 1hour too at 60 questions. I had no sata's and 2 calculations. Still waiting for results and I'm so nervous . :(
they actually do take your identification and once they’re done with you they sanitize everything you touch then sanitize their hands. i took it April 9th wasn’t easy nor was it extremely hard, you have to know your stuff. i passed answering 65 questions. feel free to ask me anything. oh you get your license early the next morning. got mines emailed from LARA the next day at 10a. i was scheduled for April 27th , they canceled my date. i went to PV immediately to reschedule and checked every siite within an 1 hour drive and there were plenty of open dates, earlier dates to test. i uploaded a video sharing my experience feel free to check it out. it was 7 ppl testing when i went sitting in every other Cubicle. everyone i know who are eligible to test has been able to schedule a date, even those whose test was canceled, they were able to schedule for an earlier date. Also hospitals are hiring Nursing students who’s waiting to test. im from michigan by the way. I actually emailed them on the 26th of March and asked what were their plan for nurses to test. i asked are they considering testing at home as a proctor watch, they emailed me back promptly and let me know that that day they had opened testing center back up lol, so i scheduled.
I scheduled my NCLEX and my appointment got cancelled they opened it up for a short time so I made an appointment for the 3rd of April and passed. The next testing date that was available wasn’t until May 26th
I miss Regina, wat about the foreign nurses doing there tests? There is not a better way for nurses to be license ? After you go through a nursing school your school suppose to certify your knowledge in nursing. In Costa Rica after you finish nursing school we does a knowledge practice in a hospital feel with the supervision of a Profesional in nursing , then you do a case management and you recibe your license
I am a Registered Nurse in my country and i just wonder if they can consider nurses that are already licensed in their countries can work as a Nurse here in the US and not to require to take the exam because a lot of us really wanted to work already as a Nurse just a thought to consider .
I'm from the Philippines and I'm just watching/monitoring myself when I would take the exam. Building confidence but sooner or later, will have to take it. I think the July 4 deadline for the modified exams will extend. Only a few countries were able to conquer COVID in their respective countries. Yes keep checking and travel if u need to within reason. Many of my fellow students drove 2 hours to testing centers to be able to take it sooner. Some even out of state.
I’m all these years this method as been a obstacle and a frustration for nurses in the USA and CANADA, they keep asking for requirements that are extremely difficult to reach out specially if you are a foreign nurse, because there are medication that not use igual in all countries, and case management that are different in other countries, and it’s not fare for you lose you opportunity because of things like these. I’m agree that the tests be giving virtually like many other universities in those era, that will give Mora opportunity for foreign nurses to participate in these opportunities. Thank you.

no i was scheduled to take mine in July but got cancelled. The closest date i can find is October and thats so far away. Might keep checking If i could at least take it in August

At 9:30 I believe volunteer means they will get pay however they choose if they want to work it not. They are not forced to.

That’s what we are doing in my nursing class we are taking our tests and our instructors can see us through zoom while we take the test.

Uworld to me isnt that great and is nothing like the real test. Way overrated. Focus your studies on Prioritization and Delegation of RN PN and CNA not so much medsurg. Remar Quickfacts is God of NCLEX studying. Builds your foundation well. NCLEX is a demanding test. You will never feel whole or like you studied enough. It was an experience and I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy. That's just my story. Hated the cost hated the test and hated the stress it put on my heart. 😥

The board testing is not always fair to everyone.some people do not know the answer. Due to the fact, they know are to guest very well they pass. On the other hand, some students know the answer anxiety back them off specially foreign students. I believe board testing is just money making. The work place, and Board test is night and day. The board is not always making candidates smattered. Many things people are learning stay with the school, and the board. Why is all this hard time with candidates for. When big need on health care this is wrong ways with the board...
I live in Ohio, our government, with the Ohio board of nursing, has passed a temporary law that allows nursing students in their last semester to work with a temporary license for 90 days. I’m graduating this week from an ADN program.

I'm here in Fl and just this past Tuesday I set my nclex date for june 16th in Savannah Ga, because there is no dates available in Florida until September....September...this is crazy
Quick question did you check out all the Florida testing sites when you say no slots were available to test

There are no testing centers open in Ohio until the end of June for NCLEX RN 😒
Students please be patient- use this time to study. I do not like the idea of testing students at home. People have gotten so dishonest today- there are lots of high tech discreet cameras out there. Students may try to record these nclex questions. Trust me people spend more time on finding ways to cheat than to study. NO TESTING IN HOME PLEASE. RN BSN

Remax, I have a question? What about those retesters, are those failed test scores forgiven or counted? Considering the circumstances. And those retesters that are within their five year mark, are they penalized next year in having to do all the update paperwork all over again just to retest the third time around? These are my questions.
You' re absolutely right they should have it implemented at home, it will be a better success rate as well, because the student will be comfortable within their own environment. That was a great question that you asked them!
I agree with you, the best solution is taking the test online at home to not pass through exam' cancelations . But I don't know how we could do to make the Board to accept that but in all the States .

Why are they taking so long to release the license after passing the exam?
I got cancelled 4hrs before my exam. I was asking them for a week before the schedule, and I was advised to continue because there was no cancellation announcement. My schedule was the same day our government announced the total lockdown in Manila. I was soooo disappointed. They should've just let me take the exam. I was already there the day before my schedule 😭😭

Honestly, I feel kind of demoralized, because ncsbn and pearson vue should have prepared for this eventuality. And are they giving priority to new graduates?

Go in everyday click reschedule and check availabilities EVERYDAY because people drop or change dates. Check everyday
This is super annoying. I was scheduled to take my exam May 6! Had to reschedule.... I’m not sure if I’m able to fly because my country is just now opening in phase 1 to get back normal. Praying I am able to fly out to take the exam. It Sucks to be from an island at a time like this. Sigh

Hi question, I have my associates in nursing that I graduated back in 2016 but I didn’t pass my NCLEX 3 times in FL and I haven’t study ever since because I got complaining with my current LPN job,but throughout this pandemic I notice that we didn’t have enough RN. I no longer leave in FL , I’m in NC . So do I have to do a remedial and what is your opinion on Uworld , is that the best program out there to study? Thank you and God bless

i took my exam April 1st, I took 1 hr and passed at 60 questions.
was it hard or easy?
it wasn't super hard but it also wasn't a walk in the park.
with that being said a lot of my other classmates took their exams and had completely different exams than i did , took longer times, and had different questions, but still passed!
my advice is to relax and to trust yourself. You may know more than you think (:

I took mine last Thursday and it was very challenging, did 1hour too at 60 questions. I had no sata's and 2 calculations. Still waiting for results and I'm so nervous . :(

they actually do take your identification and once they’re done with you they sanitize everything you touch then sanitize their hands. i took it April 9th wasn’t easy nor was it extremely hard, you have to know your stuff. i passed answering 65 questions. feel free to ask me anything. oh you get your license early the next morning. got mines emailed from LARA the next day at 10a. i was scheduled for April 27th , they canceled my date. i went to PV immediately to reschedule and checked every siite within an 1 hour drive and there were plenty of open dates, earlier dates to test. i uploaded a video sharing my experience feel free to check it out. it was 7 ppl testing when i went sitting in every other Cubicle. everyone i know who are eligible to test has been able to schedule a date, even those whose test was canceled, they were able to schedule for an earlier date. Also hospitals are hiring Nursing students who’s waiting to test. im from michigan by the way. I actually emailed them on the 26th of March and asked what were their plan for nurses to test. i asked are they considering testing at home as a proctor watch, they emailed me back promptly and let me know that that day they had opened testing center back up lol, so i scheduled.

I scheduled my NCLEX and my appointment got cancelled they opened it up for a short time so I made an appointment for the 3rd of April and passed. The next testing date that was available wasn’t until May 26th

After you go through a nursing school your school suppose to certify your knowledge in nursing.
In Costa Rica after you finish nursing school we does a knowledge practice in a hospital feel with the supervision of a Profesional in nursing , then you do a case management and you recibe your license
I am a Registered Nurse in my country and i just wonder if they can consider nurses that are already licensed in their countries can work as a Nurse here in the US and not to require to take the exam because a lot of us really wanted to work already as a Nurse just a thought to consider .
Am also a living testimony of Dr Paul who helped me and friends passed the Nclex exams

I'm from the Philippines and I'm just watching/monitoring myself when I would take the exam. Building confidence but sooner or later, will have to take it.
I think the July 4 deadline for the modified exams will extend. Only a few countries were able to conquer COVID in their respective countries. Stay safe & healthy and let's all pass the exam! ☺

my nclex that was scheduled for next month was postponed :((( i've been studying so hard for the past month and the closest date I can get tested is on October. I'm so sad :(
keep checking back! mine was scheduled for September 8th and I checked back and found a date for July 1st
Yes keep checking and travel if u need to within reason. Many of my fellow students drove 2 hours to testing centers to be able to take it sooner. Some even out of state.

Is nursing degree percentage important for NCLEX eligibility
I’m all these years this method as been a obstacle and a frustration for nurses in the USA and CANADA, they keep asking for requirements that are extremely difficult to reach out specially if you are a foreign nurse, because there are medication that not use igual in all countries, and case management that are different in other countries, and it’s not fare for you lose you opportunity because of things like these.
I’m agree that the tests be giving virtually like many other universities in those era, that will give Mora opportunity for foreign nurses to participate in these opportunities.
