the first red light was the door mechanism on the seat at the start of the video, then the replaced ignition barrel then we see the immobilisor lock on the dash, for these reasons i thought stolen recovered and would have gone straight for an ecu lckset and replaced the body control and the ecu, customer did well to get the right body module because when i was doing puntos there were obviously different ones depending on the spec of the car,im pretty certain you can turn off the airconditioning with fiatecuscan, havent worked on fiat for well over 6 years now, another great video and certainly worth watching, jump leads eh? bet that was at the auction as they tried to get this non runner started, thanks
That car has been butchered don't get involved you don't no what they have been messing with and what damage they have done .you are a star to get that sorted take a lot of time to sort out
I hope you charged him accordingly. I have a special rate for those people that have had someone fiddle with the car prior What a ball buster. People should not touch if they don't know
He Luis. Super work on getting this car running. Your enthusiasm and hard work hard with useful tips always in resolving problems always shine through. I’m absolutely astonished the amount of abuse an 8 year old has taken. Perhaps the technician who butchered the work can watch your videos and a lesson or two 😊
Another great video, just keep um coming, showing butchery of car shows the cowboys are still about, love you video,s,by the way what version of maxisys is the one you use,me thinking it's a 906,but could be wrong, remember I mentioned I was trying to clone data from one bcm to another on my renault scenic mk2 ,could not be done, the siemens n2 bcm is encrypted into the board ,so need another ecu kit with bcm have right numbers and right conformity set up as the one at mo is missing rear hatch control and no door marker lights,no front or rear fog lights etc, anyway enough waffle, great work.
@@LMAutoRepairs @davejohn6261 is right. It really needs the correct partnumber. You can change the VIN from the BCM (Fiat is calling it a BSI), and then virginize the ECU. Autel has function for it. ECU will learn the vin and pincode from the BCM. You did a great job on this one. I had a Panda 169 with almost the same problems after trying to boost, only diference was that it was the BSI that got fire. Luckly i could still read the data with VVDI Prog and cloned the BSI.
From the inception I noticed no check engine light.. and I was waiting to see if you notice it. As soon as the replacement ecu was installed.... There it is

Hi! If The engine ecu has a control wire for ac relay (cooling fan) You can just put 12v thru a dummy relay. Done this before on a Volvo, same hardware different software for an ac model vs non ac model! With The code for the cooling fan it stopped control idle valve! Thanks for this!
Fair enough, but in this case was the opposite... the car was not fitted with air conditioning... which the car from where the ecu came from had it... I guess I could have installed air conditioning...🤪🤣 👍👍👍
@@LMAutoRepairs Thats my point, The ecu you fitted looking for 12v on control side of ac relay (engine ecu) its only watching The ac cooling fan thru that relay, if it not see 12V it set a cooling fan code...
@@LMAutoRepairs Yes maybe, what Im trying to say is if you get an ac cooling fan related code in engine ecu it may trigger engine light (not always) and put car in limp, like in some Citroën and Peugeot. The other code for pressure and stuff shouldnt matter.
After replacing the ECM you really should do the adaptive parameters reset, and after that perform a phonic-wheel adaptation (you don't need a computer for that, just warm up the engine and rev it over 5000 rpm 3 times in a row). That would also solve the issue with the A/C coded but missing.
I have similar problem with a fiesta diesel which has wrong parts fitted and I am getting the correct parts to get back to find out what the original fault was and then fix it
Hello !! Could you help me I have a big key problem on an astra g t98 ? I can't change it without the P1614 obd code appearing !!! I will be glad if you can help me !!! Thank you keep the good work you are the best !!!
I have a New key lock and key with it. And when I put it in the car the car activate the imobilizer and I can't startup the car. I should tell you this is an OEM parts.

I know its been awhile since you under took the panda repair and i can throw some light on that model.its been repaired with 2models of panda start off that ignition key isnt right for a pop model as the key shouldnt have remote locking in 1 of your videos you couldnt deactive the door open light again its been fitted with bcm from a lounge model.rear doors have plastic strips fitted to loung they are not fitted to that model.that car has been in a crash and had another scrap vehicle for parts.hope this didnt stress you to much.when other have been messing around with a car to that extent its better to walk good video.

We had a hard time with a 500L the engine ECU was miss behaving we got a ECU kit it came with air bag module full lick set etc after fitting just the engine ECU BCM and key fob the original problem was solved it just had the flashing milage the proxi failed at airbags we fitted the module that came with the kit the milage stopped flashing and a air bag light came on with a code for knee airbag we then found the car didn't have one and the pin's on the airbag modules where slightly different at that point I decided to pass the job on to someone with the knowledge and tools for Fiat presuming that they would easily be able to earth get the original model to sink or the new one to stop looking for the missing airbag but no unfortunately we tried 2 different people with dealer software and they both were lead to the rear parking sensors module by their scan tool we got one in the ECU kit and it was identical we switched it out for both of the guys it didn't change anything the second guy wanted to try turning off that model and convinced the costumer that he wanted to get it figured out no matter what we haven't heard if it's been solved yet I'm betting it's not as they didn't want to listen to what I found and obsessed over a reversing model 🤔

With Alfa OBD software you can change configuration in BCM and turn off AC option.
