Are Japanese language is hard to learn? Im thinking to learn it just to play ryu ga gotoku kenzan and this. But still afraid if I just half harted in the middle.
It's really freaking hard. The top reasons why are: 1. There's no particular order to say something in. -If there's one way to say it in English, there's three in Japanese. Kanji -Probably the most difficult challenge for me and most others learning Japanese. Kanji is a writing form holding around 2,000 characters, if I remember correctly. They have a base reading plus an alternate reading based on the kanji around it and sometimes the context of the sentence. Both Kenzan and Ishin have a lot of dialogue to read. Keep that in mind. That being said, I'm still having a blast learning the language, so don't let this post deter you from doing that. Kenzan and Ishin are both fantastic games. I just hope Sega localizes them soon, but for now, playing the Japanese version is still fun.
