Love the adventure! Thanks for sharing. Y’all are great on camera. We are small camper and Jeep lovers! Safe travels out there. Keep the content coming.
@@WheresWiseman RUclips continues to make me scratch my head. I (Matt) have no idea why it took so long for the algorithm to figure it it out and connect with your channel. Y’all have great videos and fun personalities. So happy I was able to find your channel!
Thanks, Matt, and totally agree! Feel like we're missing a lot of great channels out there as well. We've realized it's a waste of time to try and figure it out. Best just to do what we love, spread good vibes, and see what happens 🤘🏻
Finally you guys posted! I’ve been checking for weeks. Love your channel and fun attitude. My wife and I are TJ owners and love camping so your show resonates. Just need you to post more often, lol!
Hello Wiseman's. Just found yor channel and how fitting it is. I have been researching small overland campers because i plan to spend my retirement( in 5-6 years) in the backwoods around the country. So far i am enjoying your content. Thank you
Awesome video. Looks like you had a blast. You should definitely go check out Boyd cave again. I camped near there last month and spent a little time in the cave. It was warmer in the cave than it was outside. Happy travels!!
Thank you! Originally a small 300 (off grid) and 500 (shore power) watt electric heater but now have a propex heater built in. It is amazing!!! Highly recommend and with the $$
Alright! I continue to struggle with condensation. How are you keeping yours so minimal? I keep the trailer vented (seems counterintuitive during the winter) via an open roof vent. I’m trying running the exhaust fan next (very counterintuitive). Thanks. Safe travels.
Good question! We keep a side window and fan both vented about an inch that way air can flow in and out. That is key. If still bad, then we'll turn fan on 10%. Thankfully we have a propex heater so we can do this at even lower temps. Does seem counterintuitive but it's really the only way!
It has definitely helped! Been out in the cold a few times this winter and haven't had any chill from below 👌🏻 It has also helped keep moisture down under the mattress.
I also have a 2 door JK and pull a teardrop/squaredrop camper. Have you done any modifications to assist in pulling. What does your trailer weigh loaded. Thanks
Hi David! Only changes are a regear to 5.13's to help turn the 37's. Definitely helped get pulling power back! When we searched for a trailer for our two door, our goal was to stay around 1k lbs. That being said we're usually around 1100-1200 fully loaded. Timberleaf's Pika is the best all around option we could find at that weight 👍🏻
@@WheresWiseman I just added a cold air intake and removed muffler and put a axle back straight pipe plus retuned using the Super chips Flashpaq with power control module swap. It is definitely a different JK now but maybe should look into regear. Running just 33 with a 2.5 inch lift. My trailer is a Weeroll solid aluminum trailer with 33's which weights about same as yours. Always looking to get more towing performance. Thanks for your response.
Just curious about if your propex heater was not working during this video? Was it to preserve propane Or if there is another reason why you have the electric heater. Thanks for any info.
We do occasionally but always prop it up after each trip. We also installed some insulated foam which helps with warmth and absorbing some of the moisture 👍🏻 ruclips.net/video/a-Vffsfd_s0/видео.htmlsi=SI61IZZxl-A_tjbw
Woo! We love timberleaf! 🤩 We are going to be pulling our Vintage Trailer Works XTR with our Jeep for the first time next week and will be vlogging it! Please check out our channel as well! We look forward to seeing more of your adventures and hope to stay connected with you!
While you were there, I found peace in Turkey. Thanks beautiful people.
Posting from East Coast. Your landscape is AMAZING. You can see forever. So beautiful.
It really is! Need to get out your way though to diversify the scenery 😉
That’s froogin’ nuts!
BEAUTIFUL footage! 💓💓💓💓
What? Blockbuster video? Blast from the past for sure.
We were shocked! Of all places to still have a store!?
Pretty pretty scenery!
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed!

Thanks, Scott! Definitely going back later this year!
Looks like a pretty sweet trip! Nice to have some day activities in civilization when it’s that cold. I coulda used a blockbuster last night…lol
For sure! It was a nice mix of camping and exploring, with some temporary relief (and great beer) 👍🏻
Nice video! Beautiful part of the country! What do you two use for a heater? Thinking about getting a tear drop for skiing

Thanks, Aja, appreciate the support! We hope to keep it that way 😜
What brand heater is that? Looks super handy. Thanks for the great video.
Thank you! It's just an Amazon brand 500w heater. I believe we have a link for it in the video description.
How was the mats under the mattress, I am curious if it helped insulate at all? Thanks

Nice! Thanks for sharing! Going to have to look into some of these upgrades 🤘🏻
What campground is this?? And they’re open year round?
Tumalo State Park 👍🏻 Great facilities and proximity to Bend

Hi David! Just didn't have the propex yet. Very excited to try it out this fall and winter 👍🏻
Do you have problems with condensation under your bed? If so, what do you do?
We do occasionally but always prop it up after each trip. We also installed some insulated foam which helps with warmth and absorbing some of the moisture 👍🏻

You showed a small heater but doesn't your trailer have a built in heater?
Our first trailer didn't have a heater so we had a makeshift setup. Our new blue trailer does have a Propex heater 👍🏻
What Campground is that that looks like La Pine
We are at Tumalo State Park 👍
