I really needed to hear this today (crying while listening). I have been struggling with finding my Sweet Melissa dead in her crate on 8/24/24. She had just passed before we got home (she was still warm). She had just been diagnosed with bladder cancer and had been on a 4-day energy surge after an ozone treatment. She has been the only one that I have lost naturally at home, and I have been struggling with the guilty feelings. The next day, we had a bird come to the window and look in the house, and a butterfly sat on the ceiling fan looking into the house. Melissa knew I had been stressing about how to treat her; she was also a pup that didn't want to be smothered in hugs and kisses. After listening to this, I know now she wanted to go in her own way and she has been back to visit me to say she is ok. Thank you again for this insightful information

this was wonderful I have an almost 16 year old sheltie. I talk to him all the time; and we do everything together. I always tell him; Trip; you go when you need to. I'll love you forever! He is a happy camper & so am I (even tho I'll be heartbroken) it's ok. I've been blessed to have him so long and so healthy!

When my Winnie died I decided it was my fault. I started studying nutrition and health and going to holistic vet. So my next dogs and rescues have benefited. Each dog has taught me many things.

They're our best teachers for sure and that in itself is their gift to us.. knowledge. We need to embrace that

I felt guilty too when my precious Rasta died, my 16 years old gorgeous poodle, 3 weeks giving treatments for a cough a she had kidney disease that didn’t show in the blood analysis a month and a half months before. Now we are cooking the food for our 8 rescued dogs to give the best life we afford for them.

Thank you. I always find your resources helpful Yushchenko. I'm an avid communicator, never taken it further to learn more. I surprise myself sometimes.
My 11 yr old shihtzu passed away from a natural pasing end of January. listening to you here has made me realise just how much I was communicating with her. I mean I knew I was, but you made me realise more, so thank you .. I still find myself apologising to her, but then I trun it around knowing that she is having fun in heaven.
I have her 8 yr old son here and a 14 yr old golden. These dogs have been so very close. My golden is getting closer to her day and I really need to know what I can do for her son, I know he'll be needing support too and I just want to make sure I'm doing all I can.
