There's that big of a crowd embarking and disembarking from a 3-day a week train with a slow and delay prone schedule, awkward scheduling at major cities en route, using 40+ year old Amfleet II coaches. What that tells me is that the demand is there for Amtrak just about everywhere in the country despite many areas having very marginal service. The new engine does look sharp though, unreal quiet too. Cool footage, I like seeing all the various activity that goes along with the stop instead of just the arrival and departure.
I wanted to take The Cardinal next week, but the only accommodation/seat I could get was that for handicapped persons, and it was very expensive, especially for one person! Not this trip.
@@marykrauthamel7559 the Sleeper accomodations in general are outrageously priced. Is the handicapped room priced the same as a regular bedroom or is it even more?
You may see changes when the Capitol Limited is combined with the Silver Star, a daily train - in November. Strangely, I miss the extra noise - like the F40PH, where the engine was left in Run 8 during night station stops in Hamlet NC years ago.

@@ervinthompson6598 The Capitol Limited is being combined with the Silver Star to form the Floridian
Strong demand!! I see a train that needs more cars added! There should be a minimum addition of a third coach!!
Maybe make it a daily run. Thanks for watching.
Caption(s) as to station name/location would be appreciated.
It was stated in Description but thanks for watching

Looks to me like they're making everyone exit and then board from the same door, Not enough crew to open another door?
Exactly right. A mess but the rear attendant didn’t help out. Guess he was the sleeper car attendant only.
