Not going to lie ... I only watched 'Creed' because 'Rocky' was still part of the story.
Why I didn't bother with creed 3 even though I loved one and two
Creed I and Creed II are Rocky films...... without the Rocky character, it would gut the entire script. The films were ONLY interesting due to the continuation of the Rocky character.
thats on you bro. the creed series holds its own weight and has a story of it's own worth respecting
@@kilz5752 Remove every scene with Rocky in it... use a video editing software.
Then watch that version and only ever watch that version.
@@chandie5298 not doing all that for your satisfaction lmao
Mickey prequel...Gritty & no nonsense story about he's Boxing career. Set in during the Great Depression of the 1930's through WW2 & events leading up to him establishing the Gym & taking in a teenage Rocky.
But Mickey never took in a teen Balboa. That would be rewriting the Rocky story. No prequel. He was a fighter that was also the muscle for a loan shark.
@@n34z3r Yeah! You are correct Neil "Taking in" is the wrong choice of words. It suggests Balboa lived with Mickey from a young age. No what i really meant was we see events in Mickeys life & career as a Boxer then becoming Coach & eventually leading to Rocky's attendance at Mickey's Gym...the rest as they say is history.
Great idea! I’m dead serious.
Absofuckinglutely it would be great.....but only ending his career early because of his possible history of heart condition. I would say when he was younger he probably was an antagonist and a deadly fighter .Very, Very emotional and it affected his health.
I'd Like To See 🙈 It ❗
When I go back to Philli and see tourists running the stairs, little kids as well as older people, doing the rocky arm raise at the top, and singing the rocky theme as they do it, it just makes me smile. Even today's kids know the movie.
That's irresponsible to cut Henry Winkler in place of Irwin Winkler especially since they share no relation. People might misjudge Henry to no fault of his own.
I thought that.
Thanks for clearing that up, very misleading.
Not good
Exactly! If nothing else, Henry helped Stallone at the beginning of his career. Henry is NOT Irwin. Irresponsible.
I think Stallone worked for minimum wage on the original movie 🍿🎥
I'd absolutely watch a movie about Drago. I think Dolph lundgren and that Romanian athlete that plays his son are absolutely intimidating and amazing. But Sylvester Stallone created that and he deserves all the credit for that creation.
I would so be down for a Drago post-Rocky IV dark drama that explores him losing everything.
He created Drago, but not about Drago's son. After that you might see Creed's daughter might up next.
Although I agree that you have a point, I despise Irwin Winkler's control over any part of Rocky legal or not.
I have no intention of watching anything that Sly has not put his stamp on, when you consider that this is all Stallone"s creation.
This is not intended to be critical, just another opinion.
ONLY if Sly was involved in it, otherwise count me out!
@@robertanderson7333I agree with you 100 per cent
I recently watched Slys making of Rocky Four , I could listen to him talk all day every day the man is a champion and he’s just so cool 👍
The original rocky trilogy 1-4 will go down in history as a legacy of a boxer trying to make a difference from the streets of philadelphia and all he wanted is to see if he could go the distance, a true romance with Adrian who stood by his side no matter what happened she was there. A story that can't be replaced. A chemistry made for the screen Adrian and rocky.
Yea you’re right, the first 4 films make a fantastic trilogy 😂
@@paulquantumblues3599 There not, one is called Rocky, and the other Rocky 2 lol
The trilogy Rocky 1-4…. I don’t think you understand how the word trilogy works.
Quadrilogy 😆
you mean the original quadrilogy if you talking bout 1-4, trilogy is 1-3
JUST WATCHED "ROCKY BALBOA"...That movie needs a resurgence or a re-release! It's SO good! So inspirational, just what our young people need to see today! Stallone rocks, then and NOW.
Inspirational indeed !, among my favorite scenes, was the "Winners" speach that he gave to his son.
.
That's the only one I've yet to watch...... Your comment definitely is gonna leave me making some time for a cinematic leisure to check out that film! Cheers mate
@@reynaldogarcia643 Let us know when you do. I think it's the only one that matched the heart of the original and the second best in the series. It was very inspirational and a perfect way to close out the franchise. It brought the Rocky saga full circle the right way which is what Part V tried to do but failed.
nah its the worst one
@@freebee8221
If you are talking about Rocky Balboa, you certainly have the right to your opinion, but so do the people who wrote those tons of positive posts on this forum who would enthusiatically disagree with you.
Let's make it happen.....Rocky-7 💯
I heard a rumor that Rocky was meant to die in the ring at the end of "Rocky Balboa", but Sly scrapped it because it was too sad an ending.
Almost right, the producers said they didn`t want an icon being killed off. Stallone really did want to go through with him dying in a hospital after his street fight with Tommy Gun (Tommy Morrison). Eventually, he was talked out of it.
I think it was at the end of Rocky V.
@@Dave_Langer "Rocky V" isn't considered Canon.
In fact, "Rocky Balboa" was made to give a proper ending to the series, as Sly now disowns part V and pretends it never happened.
@@dhenderson1810 Doesn't matter what it's considered, the person is right. Stallone had Rocky dying in Rocky V but it was later changed. It was not ever part of Rocky Balboa.
@@e2go Stallone came back and did Rocky Balboa because he realized that doing a "Rocky" film without a boxing match in it, like "Rocky V" did, was a dumb idea.
Stallion could put out a new fresh movie, staring himself and Carl Weathers, and release it at the same time as Drago. It would kill the box office to see the two actors together again and hurt the Drago film at the same time. I'm not watching any of the movies without Stallone.
I really wanted creed 3 to suck but it didn’t, i hope they have him back in creed 4
👍👍
Since your Post, Carl Weathers has since past away..at the time of your Post it appears that maybe you weren't aware that Carl Weathers had been in health decline for some time.. sorry if this is news you.. just thought maybe you ought to know this.. your welcome. From a big all time Carl Weathers fan ..if you enjoy Carl Weathers personality and approach to his character portrayals it you can find the TV series Action Jackson (very stylish and sort of city street vigilante role)..and In the heat of the night (Cop role)..
Truth be told if it wasn't for Rocky I wouldn't have never watched the first Creed... I like the Creed movies so much I just expected Rocky to always be a part of that franchise too.. he added more dimension to the story 💯
Rocky has become an American cultural icon. I'd hazard a guess that even as a fictional character he's probably more popular than most real boxers. I've loved the films and the character since I was a kid, and that hasn't changed to this day. As long as they make a Rocky movie, I'll watch it. I hope Stallone has that opportunity again, for all our sakes (and his).
I like rambo. The 1st 2 rambos hit my emotional buttons. Plus after the 3rd rambo putin himself said he was afraid of green berets. The 1st 2 were amazing, and the 3rd one was a really good action flick/propaganda piece.
My point being rambo will always be the thing that made Sylvester Stallone popular to me.
You hazard a guess!!!
Tetralogy.
All he has to do is change the name and the title and he can continue with the rocky series to get back at Winkler and Hollywood just changed the name but make it like Rocky that's all you got to do is change the title and continue portraying the character I would love that LOL
Italian brawler Rocco Stallone but continually as Rocky Balboa
Rocky is the best longest film franchise… 50 years of Rocky! (Even Creed is part of it)
Correct, as it came a year before Star Wars. Unless you count the James Bond franchise. That would be the only one that would be longer I think.
@@1981lashlarue along with the Halloween franchise which has made at least one movie in every decade since the 70s.
Why should Stallone be "grateful" to Winkler? He created this entire legacy. If he says Winkler is a vampire, I'm with Sly.
YES, YES and YES, i concur, as I am sure many others do as well. To hell with Count Winkler !!!
Winkler may have done some things wrong along the way, or at least in Sly's mind he did. Maybe he did. I don't know. Even if that is the case, he can and should be grateful for Winkler because without him willing to take the chance, it might never have been made. At least, it wouldn't have been made as Stallone envisioned it or we may have seen another actor in the role. Winkler took out a mortgage on his house and assumed a lot of risk. If the movie flopped, Stallone would have just went back to being a struggling actor. No worse off than he was before. Winkler stood to lose a lot of money and possibly esteem in the business. Regardless of how their relationship turned out in subsequent years, Stallone does have a lot to be grateful for with Winkler.
What’s right, Wrinkler “SHOULD” make it a win-win and just give Sly half of the rights and allow him to have creative control of the entire franchise… That way, everyone is happy (to a degree) and some really great stories can continue to come from these great minds…
I agree, great thought, unfortunately that makes too much sense for the W's to even comprehend, because limits their control and need for greed.
I do commend you being a person who is interested in offering solutions and tries to make progress for those involved.
@@robertanderson7333
Like you said, it’s just makes sense… Plus, I’m my opinion, I think it’s a financial win-win for all involved… But, it’s too much like right, so, it most likely will never happen…
A yo come on Mick
Sly sold his rights to the movie. He is entitled to nothing from Winkler.
@@mikejones-wy5hv
Notice that I said “should”… Did you catch that…? Smh
i think a really good story line would be to see someone coming up in the media attacking rocky as usual, and finding that clubber lang does not seem to care much for the attacker either. So in a surprise lang seeks out rocky and the two settle their differences. putting both their strengths together lang helps train rocky to defeat who they both despise. That would really bring back some great 80s nostalgia
That sucks I really would love to see a rocky 7
There is no Rocky without Stallone. It wasn't all about the story or the fight. Much of what Rocky was about for me, was seeing Stallone get better and better at what he does with his body and his acting.
Sly, please make Rocky VIII happen, have been watching youre films since Rocky Balboa and Rambo ! Youre the best, and you have been motivated me my all life!❤ Keep punching mate!😊
The FACT is.....there would be no Rocky or Rocky franchise without Stallone making Rocky and the script ! 👍. They need to understand that.
To be fair. There's a lot of scripts that never see the light of day. So without the money (ie.producers) there wouldn't have been a Rocky either. I love rocky and sly but he just made a bad deal. It happens everyday especially when you're an unknown and begging for money to get your movie made.
Those two producers mortgaged their homes to make Rocky. How quickly some forget the big breaks that others did for him or the film. ☮️
Exactly. They assumed a lot of risk in doing so. Stallone would have just went back to what he was before had it flopped, a struggling actor. They stood to lose a lot of money and prestigious in the industry. Regardless of what transpired afterwards, he owes them that. They took a chance and without that, the movie may have never seen the light of day or at least, the way Stallone envisioned it.
I mean what could the plot even be. Closure with Adrian and his family is great and heart warming But the fight is what brought us to the theaters. I mean maybe a Balboa Drago rematch but seriously who does Rocky even fight and Why 🤷♂️👀
who does Rocky even fight and Why 🤷♂👀
premiss of the first 6 movies xD
Whoever made this video got Irwin Winkler & Henry Winkler mixed up lol. That's funking hilarious. I'm gonna put on The 'Lords of Flatbush' now. Love that movie. Thanks.
i thought the same thing 🤣😂🤣😂🤣
Oh damn, so Henry Winkler (AKA "Fonzie" from Happy Days) is the one that Sly doesn't like, and is the one making the Creed movies?
No. Rick James
Henry Winkler and Sly are great friends. Henry helped Sly get his original Rocky script back after Sly sold it. Look into it.
I see all his movies he is a legend and always be respected and love very handsome thean and now ❤🙏🏿🥰
I heard Stallone and Amazon are teaming up to do something with ROCKY - A TV series and possibly a ROCKY 7, 8 and 9 could be a possibility.
Rocky 3 is my personal favourite 💪, i grew up on the Rocky movies , so inspiring
I have no interest in another Rocky movie. But I would love to see a Mickey (prequel) movie. But Stallone has to be involved in the writing to get the essence and heart of Mickey right.
ROCKY 🥊 Balboa 7 coming soon 🔜 😍 love you sylvester stallone so much you are the Best in the Boxing Ring The fighting Machine u always thank God Bless you
we want more Rocky please please
Hell yes!!! Rocky playing a mick type role
Love Stallone in Tulsa King !!
Hell yes!
Dont care this man came from porn to being in everyones heart and motivation.
Everytime im down this man picks me up
Bro imagine Rocky 7 Clubber Lang Rematch…
I always thought grudge match was Stallone's attempt for rocky VII
A Mackey prequel would be amazing! Great comment! Greasy fast speed!
SLy got a big knife on his back, Rocky 7 was supposed to feature Creed as well more like a cross over... it would have made the fans go wild.
Paulie prequel, how he got his job at the butcher shop. His daily struggles and how he became a blue collar Joe.
So we get to see Killmonger fight Kang! 😅
I want a final rocky film, with prologue, about what really happen to him in his final years of his life...😟something way bigger that he'll never compete again...😥he'll be in his final days in the ring, all in for nothing.😞
A prequel is what the public wants. Casting is key.
Looking forward to another rocky movie.
Just as of a couple days ago SLY is in the works of another Rocky! Yes Rocky!
Love it, type it up, I'll give you some notes.
I highly doubt the pages that have been leaked were legitimate because we have never had once a CGI ghost of any of the past rocky characters that have passed on including Mickey Apollo, Adrian or Paulie. I also doubt he would ever take that in a ghost direction in any scene since he's never done that before. The only thing close to it that we have seen is rocky talking to Mickey in the gym preparing for the apollo fight.
If only I could down vote something more than once...
Look I love Rocky, but Creed is a separate character now. They aren't rivals. No need to trash one to lift the other as Creed movies never trashed Rocky.
What if Rocky 7 is titled the last dance I know we maybe we don’t need rocky but it’s Sly he is moving like a 20 year old and he is one of the most creative dudes when it comes to movies script.
It sucks about the rights to the Rocky franchise. In a right and just world Sly would own those or at least a part of them. Buuut Sly should have made his move for the rights many many years ago. Should have negotiated for the rights between Rocky 1 and 2. Ooor between 3 and 4 when the franchise was at its highest commercially. When Sly had the most leverage. But he didn’t.
Businessmen are in business to make money. In the beginning of Stallone’s career these people took a chance on Stallone and it paid off. Everyone involved made money. Stallone is rich and a huge star. Where would he be if these people had turned him down. He was an unknown nobody before they took a chance on him. His perspective is crazy to me. Stallone should be humble and say thank you for giving me my opportunity!!
How about make it a SERIES! There’s so many stories u can tell and get kids into the notion of boxing
Wow will be great...😊
Rocky Balboa was the perfect in-ring ending for Rocky. Is there really anything more that’s worth saying? Another fight would be ridiculous at this stage, and VI was already bordering on ridiculous.
The new Creed film will be the first movie from the Rocky storyline that I haven't watched in theaters and since I watched Rocky 3.
You could say that Greek movie wouldn’t exist if it wasn’t for Stallone…Because he was the first one with the idea 👍
He wrote Rocky as well as Rambo the man is a f**king genius.
True. However, he wrote Rocky from scratch taking inspiration from real life events. He was the co-write of the First Blood screenplay which was based on a book.
Before any announcement of a. Drago series didn't Sloan. Say that he? Had. An idea? To. Take the rocky series into a different direction using politics and drago and Russia? I saw it in a youtube interview video where he was sitting alingside someone being interviewed long before creed 2 was even a thought.
I want to see ROCKY7!!!!!😢😢😢😢😢
I really wonder why they don't put some spot lights on Judge Dredd movie ?!! it was AWESOME with him
Adrian's pet shop tv series prequel where she sells interesting turtles and fish to colorful neighborhood local characters.
ROCKY 🥊 Balboa sylvester stallone movie 🎦 best ROCKY 7
He should have said, Murdock I'm coming to get you...
What is your favorite boxing movie!? You mean there are other boxing movies?
Sylvester Stallone is still attached to all spin-offs from Rocky doesn't matter his role in their production just like he has a producer's credit on Creed 3
@3:19 those veins in his forearms look Damn impressive even at his Age! Hey is Stallone wearing a Hairpiece?
As much as I'd LOVE a Rocky VII, Rocky Balboa (VI) ended it perfectly. I've got such mixed feelings on this.
"Rocky Balboa" has been the only sequel that matched the heart of the original. Part II came the closest. "Rocky Balboa" is the second best in the franchise and the perfect way to end it.
@@1981lashlarue bookends u r so correct. Perfect ending to it all.
Saw Rocky Balboa in movie theater movie was 4 stars made money n perfect ending. Saw 2 thru 5 same way I'm 52 now missed 1 Saw on TV best franchise ever
"Yo, Rockooooooooo!" - Eddie Murphy
I think a 7th Rocky film could involve him having a grandson who he trains to box but later identifies as a female and boxes women and regularly beats the crap out of them angering Rocky and they settle it in the ring with the stipulation that if the 70 something Rocky wins the grandkid has to retire the wig and makeup.
Well it’s true! I 💯 agree with Stallone .. that’s Hollywood for you.
ROCKY 7 SYLVESTER STALLONE IN REAL LIFE HAS GOT A GOOD ♥ HEART ROCKY 🥊
Imagine creating a character that is a household name and then being told that it's NOT YOURS anymore! Money is their ONLY goal in life. 2 Tim 6:10 for the LOVE of money is the root of all evil. So, keeping THAT in mind, what does that say about Winkler and Alvidsen? Sly, we love ya man and your fans got your back!
What typically happens when you take the heart out of something?
The 7th film would be awesome with Rocky training his son or another underdog that remind him of himself to beat creed and drago
What son? The son he didnt talk to for years who is not even interested in Boxing and is already like 40yrs old? You dont know anything about the Movies. 🤦🏻♂️

Rocky, not Stallone, was around 30 in the first movie. That means today…he’s around 75. THERE’S NO WAY HE CAN COME BACK FOR ONE MORE GO!
Why not? Your mother came round mine last night for one last go and she left in great spirits
It ain't over till it's over
There doesn't need to be a 7th film!
It ended nicely on the 6th one after the misstep that was the 5th one. Let it go gracefully!
What's the deal with the Fonz-clip at 2:07?
This continued work with Creed and Drago but without Stallone are the equivalent of the wife divorcing and running away with the kids, house, child support, and alimony.....
How about this: Rocky 7/ Creed III Rocky Balboa vs Adonis Creed?
I was always for the sequel to end all sequels, "Rocky meets Rambo" and together they wage war on the never ending crime wave in the streets of Philly!
Um, do the makers of this clip believe that Henry Winkler (actor, lifelong friend of Stallone’s) is the the SAME person as Irwin Winkler (producer, now sworn enemy of Sly?)???
That's HENRY Winkler, the actor, 2 starred in Lords of Flatbush, different guy
Without Sly, we're out - no-deal says America!
I bet the legendary Suge Knight could have got Stallone characters creation back Suge Knight knows how to maneuver through vampires
Yes Rocky 7 do it
I'm confused!?? Wasn't 2006's "Rocky Balboa"....the seventh film??
2:09 wrong Winkler, and he’s referring to Lords of Flatbush 😎🚬
Those Creed movies are sh*t even without the unreleased Rocky 7 script.
There better be more Rocky movies, or it makes no sense. Rocky must get as old as Mickey was, and pass on his knowledge to a young and hungry fighter. If this doesn't happen, imma be pissed....
That's why creed Exists
Why are they showing clips from Henry Winkler aka The Fonze from Happy Days? Irwin Winkler and Henry Winkler are not related.
The winklers are vampires!I agree
We need a Apollo creed movie
Hope they make it we grow up with rocky
Rocky 7: Adrian's Revenge the Simpson's called it again.
I'm confident that any Rocky-related film without Stallone will falter because it doesn't have the Sly element.
Why is this about Irwin Winkler but there’s a clip of Henry Winkler talking, who’s not related to Irwin at all? Henry and Stallone are friends.
Get your story right.
We looooove Mr. Stallone!!!
What is it gonna be about?
Stallone I say it would be great to do a seventn rockey film be the oldest comeback fighter just like George foreman was Mr Stallone this would be a great plot rocky goes out a champion .
Out of Creed franchise? He was a producer in that movie.
I'm still waiting for the movie "PAULIE". "PAULIE II," "PAULIE III," "PAULIE IV," "PAULIE V" and "PAULIE VI."
COMING TO A THEATER NEAR YOU
Rocky! Rocky! Rocky!
If he owes his whole career to Rocky, then he only owes himself (and his inspiration, Chuck Wepner) since Stallone wrote it and demanded the starring role.
