Just a tip for viewers. Bosch doesn't sell replacement brushes for this model, only the whole motor (rotor, stator and brushes holder). Makita CB-440 and CB-448 (cheaper) brushes fits perfectly and are widely available, just some soldering is needed.

Не вздумайте так "ремонтировать " коллектор на статоре. Это видео как не надо делать т.к. уважающий себя и рботу мастер этого не будет делать. Через месяц выбросишь этот девайс тк щёток уже не будет. Работа выполнена на отъебись. Если уж наждак то 400 и после этого полировка пастой ГОИ. После этого промывка спиртом или чем-то подобным , Дорожки тоже надо почистить иголкой и после этого заполировать , чтобы не было заусенцев.
Hello Andrius, i have two problems with my Bosch GSR V-Li 18V:
1. My ventilator in my rotor is broken. How can i repair the ventilator. The Bosch dealer selling only complete rotor not only the ventilator.
2. The carbon brushes make noise after repositioning and I see more sparks from the carbon brush while turning

Hello, for motor fan you can try to find one from burned motor, but as you see more sparks from caebon brushes it can be that your armature is burned out or damaged. You can remove broken fan from armature ant test motor then, but if you see sparks when motor is running thatz not good and you need new motor. If motor without fan works great then you can think about searching for new fan

hi sir its me again. just asking and wondering. Which is practical, a cordless drill or a corded drill? I have a corded drill, I want to buy a cordless drill. What keeps me hinder aside from its expensive compare to corded, is the maintenance of the battery. for how many years does the battery last? the battery itself is expensive.When the battery expires you buy again. compare to the corded drill, its like forever, as long as there's electricity just plug it in. and it's cheaper.

My cordless drill Bosch 180-LI has the same problem. It runs for a few seconds and then stops and the light blinks 3 times. Then press the trigger again and it works for a few seconds and stops again. I have 2 batteries and it is the same with both of them fully charged. I thought it was the carbon brushes and bought new ones. But the old carbon brushes looked quite ok when I took them out. I decided to try the new ones and the same problem. So do I need to clean the inside like you did and it will solve the problem?
I think you need to check armature because it can be damaged and controler unit disconnect drill because of over current

hi handyman, here my problem the jaw (i'm not sure if its the right term) of the chuck of my gsr 18 v-li are scratching my bits.
so first i manage to dismunt them and try to repair them with file but that doesn't work (quite subtil to munt them again btw)
then i try to buy the jaw, impossible to identify them and so to find the same.
then i try to replace the chuck, then again impossible to find one.
apparently, the only solution is to buy the whole gearbox ( 1:42 in your video ), and in europe it's almost the same price as the whole gsr, it's cheap only in US, and then the shipping is super expensive...
it's seems to be a catch 22
do you have an idea to solve my problem ?
do you think it's possible to separate the chuck from the gearboxn, so i can try other chuck on it ? i don't see scew inside the chuck so i don't so...
Hello, you can use any chuck yiu whant, but first you need to remove old one. If it's no screw inside (normally it is inside), you can try to unscrew old chuck buy putting allen key inside and hammering it or using impact driver to remove old chuck. And yes in Europe new gear bix is very expensive and not worth of repair
