Black Friday has been slowly degraded more and more over the years. It was always a day to benefit companies, but it would benefit the consumer as well. Today it just benefits companies. Shady practices aside, the deals themselves just aren't as good. They've realized they only need 10-15% "discounts" and people will still spend money all the same

I have a hard time believing you “accidentally” left that speaker outside in the rain lol. You probably more like thought, “it’s supposed to rain tonight and I just got this speaker, let’s see if what they claim is true” lol.

That is definitely a practice we see a lot. Thankfully not all brands engage in this crap. I try to be mindful of it.
That's why when it comes to shopping in general, don't pay attention to how much you are "saving", but how much you are paying.

Any speaker, especially at that price point, that doesn’t include an AUX port is automatic pass.
