Thank you, Emmanuel! You certainly can catch up to me. Practice is exactly right! You can always contact me with questions, too, and of course I give lessons if you're ever interested in really focusing for a year or two. I take sharing whatever little knowledge I have quite seriously.
@@parallelfifths2824 Too kind! :D And you're professor in Michigan now? Wow, congrats for this as well! They can be happy about their choice. So no longer NYC-style? That's kinda sad actually hahah! All the best!
Thanks, Alessandro! You know, I actually only had the flute and stopped diapason on, the organ sounded much different from up there. If I had known the overtones would be so present I would have chosen something else. I cannot stand the sound of the tierce, quint, etc. Ick.
That was wonderful! Thanks for sharing, it’s really inspiring
Thanks, Justin!! How kind! Could have been better, but just barely passed quality control for RUclips...
The transitions in and out of minor were especially smooth and compelling! Hope I can reach this level someday-must practice!

Congrats to a thousand subs! Looking forward to your interview on the NHS. Greetings! :D
Thanks, Maestro Koch! It means so much to me to have the support of such an excellent musician and pedagogue. You're so consistently kind!

@@en-blanc-et-noir No no, I still live in NYC :). I fly all the time...
Wonderful!
Thanks, Nate!
Very beautiful music !
A lovely fugue full of goodness both contralpuntal and quintadenic :)

@@parallelfifths2824 Oh wow, I would definitely have thought that was a quintadena! Yeah, I tend to prefer fewer overtones too
Brilliant!
Glad you enjoyed it. Thanks so much for the kind compliment.
how many voices is that?
It sounds like a 4-voice fugue to me since I heard 4 distinct entries of the subject.
Yup. 4-ish ;)
