  • Fermilab's second annual Physics Slam, held on Nov. 15, 2013, featured five physicists vying to explain their area of study in the most entertaining way possible. Contestants included Don Lincoln, Tia Miceli, Hugh Lippincott, Chris Polly and Brian Nord, and the event was hosted by Chris Miller of the College of DuPage. Visit Fermilab online at www.fnal.gov.     Youthy to a 17y.o.'s so-last-week fault. In case anyone thought genius should be stodgy in any way, this will help knock out any engrams you got from that. Maybe. It is an hour and change without the usual CC (Comedy Central is this cable TV channel...) bump.

    The torch was indeed passed. Oh if the military budget didn't have to dominate policy. I guess in order to have the largest military in the world there is a trade off. The next collider will probably be built in Japan. So the torch isn't coming back for a while. The price of fear in the homeland of the brave.

      The military is only 15-20% the federal budget. Welfare programs are 65%. That doesn't even include unfunded liabilities. Place the blame where it's due.
