Good morning garden friends I know I cant be the only one who sometimes just wants to be ALONE in the garden. We all live in a busy world so sometimes I just want to be quiet and alone in my happy place to recharge my soul. 😇🙏❤️Liz
I’ve been gardening for over 50 + years. Many times ,in the Spring when II’m getting my garden up and ready for Summer,I don’t like when the neighbor,or neighborhood child wants to come and talk a lot. I enjoy just tuning into,planting my containers,cleaning my beds from Winter mulch,listening to the birds ,calling for a mate. Thank you!for a lovely,peaceful video.

We all need time to reflect but not all of us can make the time whenever we want. It is a luxury, I treasure every moment of my morning garden walk. Wandering with my coffee cup in hand, fixating on the play of light in the garden. The first ray of sunshine illuminating a blue glass bottle, the way a leaf is backlit displaying the unique artistry of its veins, appreciating the sparkling beauty of a spider web, watching the first big fat black bumble bee disappear into the deep throat of a royal purple vine, discovering new blooms, inhaling the scent of jasmine and butterfly bush. A garden is like heaven on earth:), the best thing is you can design it yourself and change it up anytime. No garden is static, it is the epitome of change and you are so right in saying that all we have is today, right now. I felt humbled when I realized that Mother Nature turned a neglected area of my garden into a natural haven better than I ever could have. I was working on it but when I couldn't get back to it for almost two years I was feeling overwhelmed and unhappy. Things will be just fine even when I don't exert full/tight control. Our time is finite so using it to rush and force things is foolish. Anyway, here is another effect of becoming a passionate gardener - we turn into philosophers, travel no longer holds the fascination it once did because we are "content" to just be and live in our gardens. I agree with you spending time in the garden is definitely a luxury. In this busy world when everyone has to work and there are so many earthly problems quiet time in the garden is definitely a luxury like you stated. I do appreciate every little detail like the light shining through the leaves, displaying the artistry of its veins as you explain. So perfect rose. I love how you describe it all you definitely have eyes to see God‘s creation and every tiny detail. So true that no Garden is static it always changing every single day. There’s something new to see. It’s truly amazing and such a miracle. I never get tired of being in the garden because it’s never the same like you said. Beautiful 🎉❤ yes Liz for certain, our gardens are our sanctuaries...for me, im working on creating my space, slow but sure - each year i add what i can, i move plants around and low and behold i see them sprouting up in their new places! As time passes i see a vision of the future space im working to create - i need to live with what i have and then ideas come to me lol! I think everyone has their own unique struggles and challenges in the garden. So I need to learn how to be more patient and take my own advice! Hello RBthegarfennanny so funny when you asked me what was on the ground I got scared for a minute and thought you were referring to some doggy poo poo I forgot to pick up. LOL yes, the flower you are referring to is a nasturtium. I believe it is the jewel mix. It just came back from seed from last year. I did not plant it this year. That is why I don’t remember the variety. But I believe it was the jewel mix. I am and garden zone 9B I live in the central valley of California.
