One thing about it, all your wonderful painted items and other garden decor make it a colorful spot even in the depths of a dreary winter. Well done, it is so lovely.
Thank you so much, Pam. I appreciate your kind words. That’s a compliment coming from you. Let me know when you’d like to stop by. I took some time off from work so I am free just about any day. ❤️👍🥰Liz
Thank you so much, June. I feel we should always Garden for ourselves and not to impress other people. That’s what makes gardens so fun is they are unique, original and a reflection of ones soul. I appreciate you taking the time to visit me. I wish I could see your happy place and all the gardens of my other viewers as well how fun that would be! ❤️🥰👍Liz
Awwww Thanks you SO MUCH PaulaCooper3545. You just made my day!! is compliments like yours that make this whole RUclips thing worthwhile. Thank you for taking the time to visit me. ❤️👍🥰Liz
Hi, Liz, I've only ever had one birdhouse that birds moved into. It was rather utilitarian, and high on a post away from all the others. Several generations of black phoebes returned for about three years. That was fun to watch. I love all your rust! 🌻🌻🌻
Thank you so much for your fun comment. I suppose birds are picky about where the birdhouse is located and high up would be the key. How fun that the birds kept returning to yours year after year. Someday I will get a more legit birdhouse and give it a proper placement that would be fun if that happened to me in my garden too. I always appreciate your kind words and encouragement. Hope you have a beautiful day.❤️👍🥰
That was a magnificent tour!!! Here I thought I was the "Junkin' Queen," I now renounce my crown to you Liz. It's so rewarding to take unwanted items and reuse, recycle, re-purpose them into beautiful pieces of art and whimsical displays in the garden. I say one can never have enough curios in the garden. As always another great video. Until next time have a blessed night.
Awww thank you so much, Kelly. I love your description “Junkin queen” hahaha every time I’m out and about driving around and I see furniture in the street I say to myself, “hey I could paint that” hahaha Glad you enjoyed the video Kelly. Thanks again for stopping by.❤️🥰👍Liz
Good morning Myrahclemens and thank you for taking the time to visit me. So sweet of you to say that I inspire you you are kind words are appreciated and very encouraging to me. 🥰👍❤️Liz
Awwww thank you SO MUCH progressnotperfection! Your sweet comment just made my whole day. I appreciate you taking the time to visit me and blessing me with your encouragement. 🥰❤️👍Liz
Your green sunflower door is my favorite, too! Those round metal plates in the center of your horseshoes are from a planter. I used to have 3 of them. They each had a different pattern. I think they changed them out depending on what they were planting. My father was a farmer. I don't know where mine ended up. I have moved so many times, and things get lost. I had mine painted a shiny black and hung them together on a wall. They were very heavy. Thanks for the tour! 🎉❤😊
Oh my goodness, Doris you are absolutely right. Now that you are telling me about those centerpieces, and how they were patterns changeable that’s exactly right. I remember hearing a story similar to that one. Thank you for sharing this comment with me. They did come from a farmers planter and they had to do with scattering seeds if I remember correctly? How fun that you know!!! This is so good to hear. Thank you for your kind words and encouragement about my door.❤️🥰👍🌼Liz
Hi Liz….it’s been a while. Your garden is a breath of fresh air. I just love your garden space! I enjoy thrifting and estate sale shopping for garden items. I recently posted a video about all the estate, yard and thrifting things I picked up for my garden space. Hope you’re doing well. 😍🪴
Hey there silverTeaGardens thank you for your kind words. how the heck are ya doing!? Yea i agree thrifting for our gardens is the beat and always so much fun. Especially when we find something really awesome right?! I hope you’re having a great day and appreciate you for taking the time to visit me. ❤️👍🥰Liz
Good morning Ginger I would be ecstatic if you copied my Bottle tree idea. Another one of my viewers did the same thing and she sent me pictures of her bottle trees in her garden. She did such a great job. She actually put her rebar in flowerpots. And then she put little solar lights inside the flower pots under the bottle tree, so cute and clever I might actually copy her Haha ❤️👍🥰Liz
I love the art in your garden. Because of you a few years ago when I saw your bottle bushes I made some. I now have 3. I love them. My gates are old doors.
Oh my goodness WyomingChick that is so fun. I wish I could see your bottle trees. I would fall in love with your gate as well. Thank you for taking the time to visit me.❤️🥰👍Liz
That would be so awesome Wyomingchick but I have a better email for my other email gets so much spam so I would hate to miss out on seeing your bottle trees and gate. THANK YOU cant wait to see them! 🥰👍❤️Liz
Hello Doris, no I have never heard of sweet Annie. I’m going to do a Google search now and see what you’re talking about. I love hanging dried flowers. I will definitely look into that especially since they smell so wonderful. thank you for taking the time to visit me. I appreciate your comment too.😇👍🥰❤️Liz
My loud 18 year old yellow cat, Yeller, is skinny also. He eats a lot, but it doesn't show. I think in part because of muscle loss due to old age. He's missing about half his teeth too! He's still active and seems to be happy. 😊❤
Thank you so much for sharing this with me. That is very helpful to know. Tommy is 10 years old so I think that’s kind of old for a cat. It helps to know that this could possibly be normal. Appreciate you taking the time to comment.❤️👍🥰Liz
@GardenHappy Ten isn't very old for a cat.He might do better with soft food. I give mine a scrambled egg, no salt, daily for good protein. He will look better shortly with your love and care. If he doesn't improve, you could take him to the vet.
Thank you for the suggestion about the eggs. I have put him on wet food and he seems to be getting his appetite back. But I like your ideas about the egg that would have so much protein for him. Again, I appreciate your concern and suggestion. 👍👍❤️❤️Liz
Hi Christine, no I do not. However, I do have little star solar lights for nighttime that a company called Gigalumi sent me. But no, I don’t have any little fairy lights. How cute those would be. I hope you have an amazing day and thank you for taking the time to visit me.❤️🥰👍Liz
What do you use to glue the horseshoes together with! I can't weld but have shoes I would love to use! Your Tommy looks to be about 18 or 19 years old. They look like that at that age! Thank you for taking care of him! I also have a cat about that age! Her looks are changing every week!
Hello June, I used a commercial epoxy to glue the horseshoes together. My husband at the time was a construction worker, and he gave it to me. Although I’m told that there is an amazing glue at the hobby store called. E6000 that’s what a lot of these online crafters use for their serious projects. Unfortunately, Tommy is only 10 years old. He’s not that old. I think I’m gonna take him to the vet just to get checked out in case he has a parasite or in case something more seriously wrong with him. thank you for your concern. I appreciate you taking the time to comment.👍🥰❤️Liz
Ginger, I picked up all those horseshoes at garage sales and mostly antique stores. Most antique stores have them. There are usually very cheap only maybe a dollar each. ❤️👍🥰Liz
