Hey there is one thing you got to look over that Ford escape that you have look in the rear where the shock towers are at and check there to see if there's any rust on there. What I know they are notorious for rusting out at the shock towers in the rear
Hey there! I believe only the first generation Ford Escape/Mazda Tributes had that problem, as I remembered looking at the shock towers on this one and being impressed with how solid they still were!
@@WestCoastConnectionGarageIt is the second gen too but the first gen did get it way worse. I’ve looked at a few that were quite bad. Overall solid cars and I definitely want one again
@ChristopherVarnish good to know! I could recall New Yorks yellow taxis used these Escapes for a while. I'm sure they can rack up the miles and engine hours. The one in this video is a fine example of a good drivetrain, with a not so good body.
Hey, thanks for the comment! I ended up tripling my investment by scrapping the body, figuring out there was a second cataylic converter(then scrapping that), scrapping the battery, selling the wheels, and listing some smaller parts on my ebay page! This was definitely a fun vehicle to mess around with.
@thomashoppe5436 that's awesome!!! It's great to make your acquaintance! I only discovered the Bowling for Soup version back in 2022. My friends and I, back in high school, used to sing the song regularly. We changed the lyrics to "Biancas Mom" as we had a friend whose mom was like Stacy's mom, lol. Good times.

I woulda had some fun with that in the woods 😂
Me too. If only I had the land to do it, lol.
Counting that it even started, its worth the 300$, part it out maybe you can get way more out of it?

Like for Stacy's mom 👍
The real question is, which version is better? The original by Fountain of Wayne or the cover by Bowling For Soup?
@@WestCoastConnectionGarage Bowling For Soup because I first listened it from them. Greetings from Germany ✌
