Great video. I didn't know Linnes does fly fishing. I saw her in Perch Pro. Well I guess when you are in Sweden kind of impossible not to know how to fly fish.
I like this video. Robert, I like the wind for dry fly fishing! Then I can fish dry terrestrials: grass hoppers, ants and beetles. The wind hides my poor splashy casts. You and your fishing friends are always laughing. Is it in the water or just the good living in Sweden? You have taught me to laugh when I screw up a cast or loose a fish! Thanks for making this video!
@@FlyFishingbyRobert Your RUclips contributions are a highlight in my day. I have been to Norway to fish 3 times at Urskar, my grandfather's fishing land now a nature preserve. Someday I would like to bicycle tour Sweden and fish for everything that swims.
I'm looking forward to this fall when the rearing pond at the local park is stocked (usually in October), I'll be trying fly fishing for the first time. A friend gave me a 3wt rod and reel so I didn't have to spend a lot to try and see if I like it or not.
HeyHey ... would you consider the Rivermaniac in 6wt as a decent all around rod for nymph rigs, hoppers and streamers around 7cm? Used in similar waters with not much distance to throw and not much wind either. Or would you rather choose diferent rods for those jobs? Have a nice one!
Hello from the uk I really like the stretch of water and amazing fishing , can I ask you what make and size rod your friend was using I am looking for a new rod with half wells grip and fighting butt I hope you can help
Hi there, I was using my Shimano Biocraft xr fly stillwater #6 rod in the video because it was a bit windy that day. Otherwise I would have used my biocraft xr fly #4 rod when fishing there. 😊
A delightful video,Robert!Having a delightful companion who is also skilled and thrilled adds immeasurably to the experience!
Thanks. It was a great trip!

Upstream dry fly would have been fantastic on that river. Thank you for taking the time to make this video.

Were you more upp or more down the stream?
So even stocked rainbow fishing is better in Sweden than on this side of the Gulf of Bothnia 😂 I need to move there
Haha!
Hey Robert! Nice video as always! May i ask, what kind of pants and boots are u using for wet wading?
Backcountry skinz and Vision Nahka boots 👌
