Your UI is covering the stance mode, it changes it from charging electricity to using it. Most likely why the special attacks weren't activating as nicely, as you were in buildup mode. When you're in energy consumption mode, you also will do more damage than you were there. And when you use strike on land, it also sets things on fire The more targets you hit, the faster you gain charge, so tailwhip is pretty good for that when you are surrounded. Jellyfish don't dismount you either

I'm so glad I'm not the only one who thought that! It didn't click for me until I saw that first barrel roll attack in the river, but once I did, I realized what I was looking at. lol
Some quick tips for lil bro is that the tail attack is best attack to gain energy. The draconis electric attacks are useless against it, rather than dealing damage it charges up the notho, but what I have also noticed is the insane torpidity per bite. Also I’m pretty sure the jelly fish attacks don’t work nether and the stupid eel. (Awesome video as always. Could you check the Barsboldia mod? Really high quality mod that might be confused as a Moro or Garuga type quality mod)

Bt I'm from a country where everyone carry cash .. use cash everywhere. So online purchase is really difficult. For last 2 week I've been trying to buy ark survival evolved on my steam account by any mean. Bt got scammed twice. Lost 40$ and still dont have the game. It's really hard for some of us. Bt its like a delight when syntac uploads . Seeing him and his passion feels like I'm playing the game myself.

It's a really nice new mod! When i played with it with my brother yesterday and we also thought that it was a duo saddle but saddly it isn't because it really looks like one. We in fact did get a taming progress circle but it only popped up sometimes.
God that thing is so cool. I would love to see you find some high level buds and breed yourself up some wild coloured electric snek lizzers, they would be so majestic!

I absolutely love the creature itself! I think Moro did a great job in modelling that thing and in all the animations. But i have to say, in my opinion this thing is to strong for a lvl 48 tame passive tame, which is mainly due to its electricity ability. I get its done after a creature from Monster Hunter (cause it makes no sense for this reptile itself), so im cool with it. But its way stronger than anything in its league. It feels more like a end game tame. Maybe something for lvl 70-80. I think if the ability was unlockable via advanced saddle or somehow it would be better. Moro also mentioned one could adjust the electricity in the admin settings, but i think thats just a semi optimal solution. And please dont mistake my critics for dislike, i absolutely love the mod! I just think it needs a bit more balancing.
I'm so immensely psyched for the Deinosuchus. One of my favorite creatures to see you tame/use in the last season of ASE. I recently tamed a few from the mod on console, and I'm super stoked to hear they're the next AA creature to come to ASA. This is the first time I'll have any tamed before they're added, though, so I hope my existing tames don't vanish when I transition from the mod.
Don't remove the mod right away, official ones are seperate from their mod counterparts. Garuga's gonna add a feature to convert all his different creatures between their mod and official forms in due time, so wait for that to be added and then convert yours into their official form, otherwise they'll be deleted if the mod is removed.
Idk what the math for the taming is, but it took 18 full gens and 1/3 of the 19th generator for a 180. Also 3x tame rates so probably takes a lot more for vanilla type taming
at first I thought it'd died from taking fall damage in the landing, but yeah no, it definitely had some status effect (probably poisoning from the Anomalocaris?) chipping away at its health before that, you can see how its health went down bit by bit to nothing right before the landing ToT
If you want pearls, black pearls, and chitin breed the big shrimps then chainsaw the unwanted ones. They’re great for farming. Also the baby’s have the funny names also.
Looks like they spawn over on blue ob island as well....im building my base on the back side in the cove and i have 3 so far spawned near my base Correction....I got 6 of these things on this island so far all by the cove Finally got me a 150 lvl tamed. I'm the Energy Consumption stance (the one with his head raised) when you build up the charge, your attacks get a boost in power and consume part of the energy bar for each attack. This creature has very quickly become my newest favorite water tame.
I'm no mod creator, but wouldn't it be cool mechanic where if you have tamed Electric Eels, they get a new setting called "Charge up" and they will follow you around, and if you use up the Nothosaur charge, they immediately charge you back up? Like say, 1 Eel can charge up to 1/4 of the bar per electric burst of the eel, so having 4 eels following you around gives you an instant charge to full. The setting also makes it so that the eels are passive and keep a good distance from you, so as to not get in the way of combat and get killed, and only approach when the Nothosaur needs charge, charge it up, then swim back away to wait till they have charge again, or if you need it.

Just getting around to watching this, another banger of an episode i must say...i had an idea that maybe yourself and the guys could do at some stage , imagine the Duck Hunt game but with Nothos's, could be a fun mini game ye could do where ye each try to kill as many pelargonis as possible from midair launching a Nothos from the ocean...its just an idea😁
Moro has a ton of amazing mobs especially his sea creatures all the fish etc. His other Hadreosaur is really worth looking at as well as that Morotops looking thing. The glaucus you killed dropped a bag. Moro needs to nerf it's gather rate some more getting 70-80 pearls per hit seems like it's too much. I also think there is a config file for that so you can tone it down a bit. It's immune to the stun effect of electricity but not the damage so you CAN technically tame a Glaucus with it or hunt jellyfish. You should check your inventory for weight because 70 health draughts has gotta be heavy.

Try out the barsboldia mod, it is an awesome creature that has a canon on the saddle. Also the eocarcharia is awesome.

I don't know why but they are on EVERYTHINGS list. Archelon, leedsichthys, glaucus and many other neutral creatures will immediately aggro on them.
I want to see what a super mutated one of these can do. Also, the electricity is a color region, just to convince you to mutate them
