The tylosaurus is exactly what the mosa should've been, fluid movements with amazing animations, a sleek, cool looking model, and a creature with more than just a bite attack
15:50 that’s actually not true at all. Deinosuchus and sarcosuchus are exactly the same speed. I tested it myself. It’s just the sarcos animations are much faster while the animations for the deinosuchus are much heavier. So it tricks you thinking it’s actually slower.
@@SaxualiTea no. The animation is just the movement of the model. The sarco is a lot more nimble yes. It’s definitely better at making sharp turns. Take a Rex, spino and theri for example. They all have the same attack speed, twice per second. But the spino seems faster because its moving its entire body and the movement is rapid.

Not only were Moses shallow dwelling, but they actually used to surface for air because they were mammals. They had a set of lungs so yeah, they actually came out of the water and beach themselves for a little bit and then pull themselves back in least that’s what we’ve theorized anyway.
So the agile attack hits twice, the death roll does the damage multiple times, the damage number just doesn't move so you can't see it as multiple hits, and the saddle with the bubble on it means you don't need a scuba tank, also clears up the vision just like goggles
when I first started playing ark which was about a month or two before cryopods were added any semi land creature that a person used in the ocean say like a sarco when you dismounted it it would automatically go to the surface which really sucked when deep in the ocean
last time i saw the tylo torpor venom in action it was really op so i do think you should try knoking out some creatures with it to see if it is still good
The deadly venom does 10% of the creature’s max health, while the torpor one does like 20%, so they’re really good for taming aquatic creatures Edit for correcrion
@Syntac I had to up the supply drop quality a bit but I have been getting ascendant Nothosaurus saddles in red supply drops. Not sure if it's even possible to craft them though bc they are insanely expensive. If I remember correctly it cost about 10k hide....
Just as a note: 10k hide for a good saddle is not that much. It is on the cheaper end, as many others cost in the 20k-30k range (I have a 274 sarco saddle that costs 23k, and a 325 saber costing 28k). Pretty much requires TEK replicator to craft without a stack mod
Moro does such fantastic work, but the tylosaurus feels a little overturned for more vanilla servers. It’s a shame because this is what the mosa should have been from the start
Last one i saw was a 145, but was gone b4 i could tame it, havent seen one ever since, i know moro lowered their spawn rate but havent seen one in days, they are too rare find

Had to laugh at your "expensive" Tylosaurus saddle. I picked up an ascendant Shastasaurus ( submarine ) saddle yesterday and it was 61K metal as well as 10k of several other things. I think the best thing I can do is make a trophy cabinet for the Blueprint and leave it at that.

I found an asc shasta saddle in the south ice cave drops. Mind you, it was 10k poly/electronics/35k metal....so probably not worth crafting.
