I haven't tried the Meraxes yet, but it's always the "little" stuff that makes the biggest difference for me. (Using quotes because little doesn't mean simple, lol). Anyway, point being that I'd try the mod just based on the fact you have idle break animations. I love details like that. There's also something extremely satisfying about the walking animation. It's a great-looking creature!
The meraxes is easily one of the best madr creatures to grace the arks. Since I've played with it one of the servers I play on, it became of of my favorites. I honestly would love the ark devs to add it to the main game like the ark additions creatures

Axe got killed by your secret turret too. He got the okapi thing that you can see the stats on the creatures, he was seeing if it worked on other player creatures. Super funny, and he couldn't see where the turret was. If only the global chat wasn't so slow, you and Jim could have known what he was doing barefoot in the wild.

Honestly would love it if they made a Meraxes model that references her actual dragon design from HOTD. Like using her red and sharp horns and spikes. Cause Meraxes had one of the best designs and died like a Queen.
I have an army of them for bosses, 50 base melee with 20 melee mutations + 45 lvls in melee. Don't really know if that's good or not but they are hitting for around 1 250
you should 100% try jurassic awakening, its a huge and high-quality overhaul mod that adds tons of creatures and variants and completely revamps progression. it kinda reminds me of the hunted

You should team up with axe, take your barsboldia, axe will take vectispinus and shoot at jims base, not destroy it but as a little warning it could work...
ive removed my shastasaurus saddle a few times and it doesnt show it has taken damage. sure your shasta didnt get attacked when you were out in the ocean with it. great vid
Can someone make a sharp tooth mod (from the land before time)? how to tame: wait for it to sleep, feed it rare mushrooms/rare flowers (time dependant on the amount given) or even a new consumable for dinosaurs that make them go into a blind rage, ride it, kill as many sauropods needed, tamed. You can use a platform saddle on it or a regular saddle for weirdos, and can easily kill titanosaurs, gigas, carchars, and the bosses. Has and gives the player (and any nearby dinosaurs) a 50% resistance buff, scares off anything below spino/rex level (even in wild), can trample through rocks and trees, can do massive damage to all structures (thatch, wood, and stone are 1 shots , metal and tek are 2-5 shots depending on level). Finally, you cant have any sauropod tames near it, since itll kill them automatically
Ok FYI the gecko will hold unlimited Artifacts. That terminal as Jim discovered holds 500 items has 150k hp and you can pull to it. YOU Tamed a meraxes in ASE i've watched the episode so yeah for once someone's memory is worse than mine. Wait maybe that was the Acro? You used High Level Baby Rexs or gigas last time. There is a mod setting that puts your pets inventory into yours when you ball it. left side of the inventory screen i think. How do you turn the ui # on and off?
Question, how are you hatching eggs in the terminal? I have to take the incubated eggs out of the terminal and toss them on the ground, then the terminal picks up the babies then they are automactically picked up and matured.
This is one of my top 3 modded creatures. It really is a great alternative to a Rex. Believe it or not, the high food stat is a great asset for this creature. 20k health and say 800% damage...these guys trash any boss... except Dragon of course.

the real dino was named directly after meraxes, one the original three dragons that conquered westeros, so aegon would be a perfect name

You can use cyropods on shasta and it will store in the pod with the saddle.
Hight food is good, you can heal for longger
If you use a controller, you can cycle through the different terminal styles hitting the X button.

U should try the SCS mod (i think its super cryo storage?) its the closest thing to the ASE cryogun/terminals mod. Can even shoot bags to pick em up
