Gonna look into why Algae's not working on my critters. Apparently it doesn't work on any modded dinos, so I'll see what I can do! Oh and the black eyes are a bug. Fix coming next week with a ton of stuff also
Couple of things about the Evo Giga; - Yes, Evo Gigas can go to boss arenas. - You can have 2 of them side by side that rages together and still control them. If you have 3 or more, you'll lose control of all of them if one rages, like the Vanilla Giga, they'll turn on you so not a good idea to have more than 2. I personally have a male and female giga on me at all time for the mate boost (They took down lots of wild gigas, they have mutations and very good saddles). - Stamina goes up by a lot when levelling so you can run for a long time with one that has good stam. - The damage inflicted goes up with the Health of the target, the more it's hurt, the more damage you'll do. It resets every time you hit something new so you can't really "charge it up". If you want to tame another one for breeding, I suggest using a stego with a lot of health, set it on hardened plates, have a good saddle and veggie cakes. My stego lost around 10K health on his 50K while tanking a giga for taming, it only had a 50 armor saddle but I could not make the giga rage so it tanked his 80 hits with the bleed. If you can make it rage, you'll get less bleed on you because its using his stomps that don't give bleed and give 5K torpor each hit (10K every 2 stomps) instead of 2K torpor for regular bite. I must say, Evo Giga is my favorite mod of all time, I play a lot with them, I'm happy to see you finally tamed one in ASA :)

Paleo Ark is honestly (in my opinion) the greatest mod Arks ever gotten, this mod alone has kept ASA alive for me and I'm really glad to see it get the proper attention it deserves. The sheer amount of talent and effort behind this mod is unbelievable and honestly I really hope everyone who enjoys Ark gets the opportunity to try it out! @@french_toast223when I added paleo mod in my world only Evo giga was tameable while Evo Rex wasn’t tameable and I didn’t wanna cheat to spawn a rex In Evo versiom
@french_toast223 Is the mod in the first slot of your modlist and are you using any overhaul mods like primal chaos for example? If it's not at the top of your modlist it could be being overridden by something and most overhaul mods will tend to overwrite it regardless I've noticed.
@@french_toast223 I couldn't even find a single Evo rex OR a normal rex on SE when I downloaded the mod. It was at the top of the list too so idk. I had to spawn them in but I tamed them properly
WC just needs to make the Paleo Rex and Giga the default ones. Far better looking, better controls and more interesting taming for these later game Dino’s.
@ I understand that it’s just a sad situation cuz the paleo mod doesn’t work with Fear Ascended skins and it’s preventing skeletal spawns of Rex’s and Giga’s.

Yeah the vanilla version needs a MAJOR TLC. Maybe Wild Card will surprise us with one for the Extinction map? Fingers crossed. My favorite oaet of the saddle has to be the netting on the side that implies hiw you get into the saddle. And i really hope that once Syntac does a Cluster again we can see an Ultimate Evo Giga in the Tek cave and maybe an Ultimate Carch.
Syntac, the gigas can go into boss arenas! But if you have more than two they will attack you and allied creatures when they rage. So either only take two or be on the opposite side of the arena and hide
If only there was a consumable that could be crafted and could prevent the gnashed debuff. Wyvern Milk works, but the tedious process of bringing it over to the Center....
Maybe do a boss fight using evo gigas and evo rexes, You can bring 2 evo giga in a boss arena. More than 2 will dismount you in the rage mode. You can fight alpha Livyathan using evo giga.
For future attempts I suggest using a high level stego with veg cakes and a good saddle. Then using a shotgun to inrage it. The giga won't inflect bleed while enraged. I know it sounds basic but it works.
Pretty sure the lost tamint effectiveness is due to your own Pyromane, which sort of doubly sucks that a wild one just waltz itself in to attack you out of nowhere...
I live the Giga but the Deinosuchus is king! For now! With the right traits 1 gator can solo the bosses. Giga bite and run away until broken bones tiggers and bosses melt.
nah, just look straight backwards with your camera and the giga does a tail swipe, no need to crouch to do that. if you mean the arm attack, then yes crouch to do it.
Close fight, what? You can do that with normal giga's and carcha's and walk away with 99% hp. Get a decently flat piece of land and walk slowly backwards while attacking the titan. The Titan will almost never get an attack off. Titan dead, giga happy, easy peasy.
Evo giga eyes turn black after doing the roar. It's a cosmetic bug. Also the evo giga has the most massive craps in the game (they're bigger than you) and there's a random chance for it to make a loud echo fart sound. Nice I know lol.
diamants are perfect for stone,metal, wood berries thatch and fiber gathering!! cause they destroy ALOT around them in just 1 attack. stomp or tail swipe. the diamant is what a bronto should be.
You may think it's OP that the Evo Giga can go into the tek cave, but the vanilla Carch currently is already able to go into the tek cave. And just because something can go into the tek cave doesn't mean that it will go into the Overseer arena. I don't believe the Carch will teleport into the Overseer arena so I doubt the Evo Giga could.

nah, I admit I'd be like typing SetTamingEffectivenessModifier=1 with the quickness after all that!! like you did the work not gonna let the game silliness mess it up. but yeah hope it gets fixed and can't wait for Extinction, I can see Evo Gigas really shine on that map with all the Titans, and the new dino Dreadnaughtus. Other than that I think the only thing atm could be a Titanosaur, maybe DodoRex? Also I do believe they can go into boss arena not 100% on that but at least the crouch was for the Tek Cave on the island.
It would be kinda weird for the dreadmares to take sea trophies or you know what I mean the parts I say this because it has to be able to summon the creature on land and if it summons a whole shark on land then that shark ain’t making it very far Very good video

Syntac are bees badly broken in aberration?? I've tried to tame one 4 times. Broke the hive and had rare flowers/kibble ready to feed it wearing full guilly plus bug repellent. I ran behind it but no prompt or anything came up to feed it... anyone have an answer?
I recently found a very exploitable glitch for the evo creatures. I play single player so it’s not like I’m hurting anyone that might consider this cheating if I played on PvP so I kind of didn’t want to say anything until you revisited the evo mod but I learned that, by exploiting the change variant option, you can farm genes. Switching the evo Rex or giga from the paleo version to the normal and back refreshes its gene which means you can cycle them infinitely. It’s always a different gene as the time before and even if you remove the desired gene from the Dino, it just gets a new one when you cycle it. Hope this doesn’t get patched soon and hope this is a helpful tip.
feel so wrong seeing 150 be the max level even if it is vanilla i just cant play without difficulty 6 i hope he maybe considers going back for cluster, for me personally everything is like a side series to the cluster being the main series of the channel anyway.

@JaySan2209 yes to both of those, you can convert saddles in the Evo dinos' inventories and the Evo giga can break metal gates.

Thanks so much for letting me know! I had a regular giga saddle and ran a primitive on my giga for weeks, now I can use it for alpha bosses!

None of the creatures spawn for me, i have to tame normal rexes and gigas and turn them into their evo versions.

paleo rexes spawn at 60%, you can still see some rare vanilla rexes. but otherwise paleo rexes are loads! and dont they look so realistic??
WC did say they will be dealing with all the tlc works and overhaul works in the next year so 😉

Gigas (paleo) rage is based on dps or how many times its been hit,not damage based
Paleo dinos are great addition to ark I'm glad it will be ported from ASE to ASA
Hopefully wild card will add an element harvesting trait buff with reduction for element shards. Would be great for mantis on element veins.
