Hello, everybody out there in social media land, it's your personal injury, family law attorney, Derek Bernstein here to give you more legal advice. So the next question I got in the area of car crashes is how do I dispute fault in a car accident? So this comes out a lot and people reach out to me and say, look, I had the green light, they're saying they have the green light. How do you dispute this? So first thing you do is hire a good attorney, right? We work on contingency fees, so we don't get paid unless we can win that argument. So you reach out to us, we reach out to the [inaudible 00:30] we said, hey, our person at the green light, this is what happened. They can go, okay, or they go, mhm we don't believe you.
Then what we need to do is sue them, put into litigation, put them on and say, hey, we're going to sue you, we're taking it to court, take your deposition, we take their deposition. We're going bring it to a trier fact, which is a jury and let them decide who was at fault partition amounts, whatever it necessarily may be, which is some big boy stuff. So that's how you dispute cases. You sue people. You get a good lawyer who argues on your half, and does it. Going out there and just arguing with an adjuster, they don't care, they're going probably deny you get a good attorney who's going to fight for you, present the facts, and it isn't a scare to file a lawsuit and go to trial if necessary, to make sure that you get what you deserve.
