I never delete my beats, I see them almost like journal entries or memories. One day I wanna be able to go back and see how trash I used to be, and how much I've leveled up 🤣
Nah bro, 20 years later, ima react to the shit that I made in Grade 7 on soundtrap and my body will vaporise and crumble into pieces from the amount of cringe. I would never want to experience that EVER lol
I like to keep all beats just in case I go back one day and they actually sound good. You may be in a bad mood one day and hate the beat, but you could also come back months later and actually find them to be pretty good.
Another great example is J.Cole’s Amari(prod by Timbaland. Cole heard it on one of his live shows were he either made or showed the beat. Cole recorded it from the live and made a track. But when he called up Timbo he said he actually deleted the beat but Cole showed him what he did, so timbaland actually had to reproduce it. GREAT story!
Giancarlo has some of the best sample worthy music! I often find myself listening to his work and never actually making a beat out of them haha. Cheers, Navie!
Idk if anybody else talked about it yet but ik j.cole had a track on the off-season that was made by timbaland that was deleted and had to be remade too lol
Bro I really appreciate your videos and I know it‘s a lotta work create them. But PLEASE make em twice as long as they are. Whenever your video ends, I wanna have some more beats explained to me by you 😂 Keep up the great work G, greetings from Germany💪
I am amazed by your online tutorials - i don't know anything about hip hop beats but you seriously make me want to give it a go - you videos are brilliant and extremely helpful and informative
In my opinion collard Greens would be the biggest tragedy to loose. The Base Line Changed the Vibe straight 💯 and the synth Made as so unique. Great Video again 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
How do i delete recording take that are in none of my beats? All my beats are unfinished (i need to learn more :pp) So if i delete takes all my things are gone
Help me find an old song by Asapa Roki, I think he even released a music video, but then the song and video were removed, fans posted the song again, but it was removed from RUclips again, it was released around 2015, I remember it had a bright and a little edgy melody, I've been looking for it for a few years now, in this song if I'm not mistaken there was another rapper on the feat
i love collard greens but the weird percussion should have been edited a bit IMHO. there's a secondpart of the sound that comes off like an subtle off beat hit fi that make sense I think they just should have shortened the sample to get rid of the tail
I have been producing for 2 years and my question is: If I just keep watching tutorials and making beats will I be a decent enough producer in say 8 years to actually start selling my beats?
Don't watch too many tutorials. You don't get a lot better by watching them. You just learn how other people are doing stuff. Maybe just watch it if you want to know a specific thing
The fact there's some kind of trope about producers deleting there own work is insane. How can one group of artists be less mentally resilient then others lol.
sometimes, the weird ahh loops and drums I made 2 years ago inspire and help me to try something new. Please, never delete your "records" and "memos". They'll help you one day.
should've included amari by timbaland!! it was recorded on stream and j cole recorded to it but at that point timbo deleted the beat😭😭so he remade the beat for j cole
Collard Greens would've been the biggest tragedy to lose because it was something so different for the time & has stood the test of time in hip hop. We need more "Weird" or "Leftfield" ideas to make it to the mainstream
Numerous harddrive crashes over the years have saved my early works for future generations to discover.
Hahah it was gods will
I just replaced my hard drive on a 10 year old computer can't even say how many beats I've lost over the years
I never delete my beats, I see them almost like journal entries or memories.
Hahah I delete my junk beats all the time
@@SonOfA_landfill lmaoo
weirdly enough some of the oldest things actually sound cooler to me than most of the latest
I like to keep all beats just in case I go back one day and they actually sound good. You may be in a bad mood one day and hate the beat, but you could also come back months later and actually find them to be pretty good.
Collard greens is soooo groovy imagine deleting that 💀🔥
Forreal though those drums are actually so dope
I can see why they were on the fence
I get it tho it sounds like some cartoon shit 😂but it’s fire
Has that reggae dub influence that's hypnotic to me
That perc loop sounded goofy ngl but it brings everything together when you hear the rest of the beat
As someone who has producer friends, let me tell you 💀💀💀 they’ll be deleting some crazy beats all because of some small detail they don’t like 😂
That's when you have to step in like Rsonist cousin did with the Dipset Anthem beat and say "wtf are you talking about deleting that for thats fire"🤣
@@DocKaosBeats oh bro trust me I do 😂😂 the banter is hilarious
It pays off just to keep those certain beats in a folder just in case scenario.
GREAT story!
imagine how many beats were deleted in the 1900s. I mean storage is sooooo affordable today, back then it was a completely different world
1900s is crazy
@@gtslikemike4649mans said “ye olden days of our lords nineteen hundred and ninety six “ 😂
@@gtslikemike4649 was too lazy to think about when the first digital shit came around, was just easier to name the past century as a whole 😂
@@nniklaskThat’s the 20th Century tho
@@666feetdeep3 yeah the 20th century is 1900-1999, so the 1900s
Collard Greens is one of my all time favourite songs of all time
Biggest tragedy to lose? Definitely Shook Ones, hands down.
Classic beat
@@NavieD one of the greatest flips ever. It set the tone for that signature QB sound.
No question.
Giancarlo has some of the best sample worthy music! I often find myself listening to his work and never actually making a beat out of them haha. Cheers, Navie!
Oooh you just became a fan of the music eh
@@NavieD yup just a few years ago!
I don’t delete my beats.. cause I never save them 😅😢
😂crazy
I think it's the simplicity of the Reunion sample that makes it so good. John Abercrombie... one of my all time favourites 😎👍🏼
Such a great sample
BRO OLEG SPOTTED
I got some beats I Might Delete Later and even apologize for how bad they are
Idk if anybody else talked about it yet but ik j.cole had a track on the off-season that was made by timbaland that was deleted and had to be remade too lol
When I saw A$AP Rocky my first thought was 1Train. I thought “please don’t tell me they almost threw away one of the best instrumentals of all time…”
Bro I really appreciate your videos and I know it‘s a lotta work create them. But PLEASE make em twice as long as they are. Whenever your video ends, I wanna have some more beats explained to me by you 😂

Thank you for your quality videos on producer stories etc. Keep up the great work.
Back with another banger of a vid, he just don’t miss 🔥 🔥 🔥
your format and editing always so entertaining
In my opinion collard Greens would be the biggest tragedy to loose.
The Base Line Changed the Vibe straight 💯
and the synth Made as so unique.
Great Video again 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Thank you Sammmm
By far the best channel on RUclips keep up the good work
Wow I can't believe they wanted to delete shook ones that's one of the dopest

Your taste in music 😍
All the songs you highlighted are personal favorites.
You and I are two pees in a pod
i like your stuff man, I just realized I wasn't subbed - I fixed that! looking forward to the next one.
I like your videos. Can you make a video about what to learn from "Just Blaze" and a series where you break
down trap and boom bap albums
Dope vid, do more like this 👍🏾
Can we please get some Rsonist/Heatmakerz breakdowns?
How do i delete recording take that are in none of my beats? All my beats are unfinished (i need to learn more :pp) So if i delete takes all my things are gone
Can you do part 2 of How Producers secretly trick you
Question that has nothing to do with it, was the intro of MJ's "remember the time" video used for Lil Wayne "Jon" beat ?

1:11 someone was thinking differently and someone else felt it's uniqueness could be useful
Year 21 of producing for me and i've kept EVERYTHING
Bro link that mobb deep shook ones video somewhere in the description bro
Man i love Reunion! I am so glad it survived the culling!
Last Slum Village is the same sample as Turn Me Up by Ab Soul feat Kendrick Lamar. Classic
3mins ago is crazy
You crushed it
Re-union by slum village is dope track. I love that beat
Such a feel good song. Slum Village in general is just feel good music
Bro is so funny. One of my favorite RUclips beat making guys.
COLLARD GREENS IS MY FAV SONG OMG I USED TO VIBE IN GTA WITH THIS BACK IN LIKE 2015-2024
Multiply is so fire too 🔥🔥💯😭
collard greens is such a good beat. never realized how good it is lol
Need pt 2
the dipset one is fucking insane the entire song is just ONE chop bro it was sincerely meant to be
I accidentally deleted all of my beats off my pc cause I was messing with files, thank god I have the wav files saved in a different file
All of the beats in your video was worth saving.
I'm only a year into making beats! I don't actually delete mine if it doesn't sound as good to me later on I replace it under the same name 😅
dont forget the beat for In Da Club by 50 Cent, D12 owned it and the beat nearly got deleted
definitely multiply!!
Reunion!!!!
Black Milk increíble always...
Thanks for your dissertation...
Namaste Haribol Asewe!!!!
The Dipset Beat Woulda been a tragedy to lose, those are my favorite type beats ever!
I can hear Ab sou and Kendrick Lamar Turn me up beat in the Slum Village song. Same sample?
shook ones part two as well - Havoc
I try to not delete my beats no matter how bad. I eventually go back and touch them up and at times they become a good instrumental. 👍🏼
The microphone is not even connected
Damn Karim Benzema cooking in and out the field, outstanding ;)
Collard greens is literally 2clicks off being a normal sounding dubstep track from 2004, the fact its even so weird to me.
I didn’t watch yet but I know Shook Ones II is on this list!
Shook one’s beat was almost deleted
You look like Karim Benzema. Good video, man.
YOURE THE GUY FROM MY FRIEND PEDRO OMFFFGGG
Shook Ones. One of my favorite beats of all time. Imagine if they deleted that one. I'm glad that they didn't.
I’m pretty sure just blaze was going to delete the beat for what we do by freeway
What preset did you use to create that string swell?
Sakura

drink water everytime Navie D says BEATS

U got two tones wrong in bassline for collard greens..😢
4:42 😂
"Insane beats"
should've included amari by timbaland!! it was recorded on stream and j cole recorded to it but at that point timbo deleted the beat😭😭so he remade the beat for j cole
I never ever delete a beat, no matter how trash it is
Same
karim benzema had a big career change
I never delete my beats even my old wack ones.

Black Milk wanted to delete the Reunion?? Craaaaazy..and all because it came together too easy .. I'm in shock lol
bru wanting to delete multiply is crazy
Glad I never got robbed by mobb deep
Bro you look like Benzemaaa aaa aaa
ric flair drip also
If I'm gonna collab with *J Dilla* and all I have is this beat I make in 10 minutes I would've delete that too
u missed the j cole timbaland beat bro
You look like karim benzema
amari by jcole should be on here
Tbh I think that was deleted but again remade. So I wouldn’t count it cause we don’t know what the original sounds like other than the remake.
benzema wyd?
Imagine Collard Greens with trap drums 💀
6:35 7:25
bro you actually look like Benzema
I made a folder of stinkers so if i have writers block i can just fix a trash beat
