Anyone get mentally buggered up when they get the stomach bug? I know i do...
I didn’t know what I had only that I was sicker than I was when I had Covid. I’m 65 years old and the virus really took a toll on my body. It started with diarrhea early in the morning later on that night @ 4am . I woke up nauseated and went to the bathroom that’s when the vomiting started also with that came the diarrhea. I became clammy and diaphoretic then the chills hit me it must have lasted what seem like forever but at least 7-10 mins. This happened off and on through out the night till about 7am. The diarrhea ran out like water from a faucet and the vomiting was just as bad. Next is dehydration from loosing all the fluids. Cranberry juice and the brats diet for 2 days help me to get my strength back. I was very weak and the body pain was so bad I could barely walk. I would not wish this stomach bug one anyone.
Anyone got diarrhea so severe it’s just pure brown liquid? It doesn’t hurt or anything but I just feel a little bit of bloating and headaches
Yes I’m just going through hit me Saturday night drinking lots of water and apple cider vinegar it helps ,,,

No diarrhea,but I threw up non-stop for four days. Couldn't even keep water down.

@Garlic Tyme Fine. Not washing your hands is a common cause of this virus, that’s why it’s about. Because of you people refusing to wash their hands, that’s why I got it. You dirty skanky people! 2.9 bacteria lives on your hand for a week. And you pick up 1.3 bacteria on your hand everyday

my position today: in bed, blanket on top of me, one hand clutching my poor stomach the other clutching a metal bowl with mysterious stuff inside.
Yup got up bout 5 this morning and pounding headache constant throwing up couldn't even take a sip of water till tonight bout 6:30 so I climed in a hot bath took Excedrin ate a banana,slowly and a sponge Bob yogurt after I got out and I feel 1000 times better the Norovirus headaches are just horrible they made me wanna scream make yourself take exedrin once you can keep something down people it made me better quick

Update: It was not norovirus, it was a colon infection. I recovered fully.

Don’t share household products or beds or towels. And try to keep your distance stay out of contact with their objects, food, and them. As I tried doing that with when my son had it, I eventually caught it sadly 😞
I had 3 days of non stop nausea, vomiting and diarrhea. After I stopped having it, I only had nausea and constipation
So the teachers pet sits next to me and she was sick with it and came in as soon as she stopped throwing up so now I'm stuck on my bed feeling like I wanna throw up but I cant
I have the norovirus so in case anyone is wondering the stomach feels like you're about to throw up but you really don't need to last night my mom cooked dinner and told me to go downstairs and eat I said no momma I ain't eaten it's like she wants me to throw up

No vaccine since it only gives you a brief immunity. Also there is always many different types of Nora viruses so you can’t get immunity to all of them
I had this virus back in 2010. Now in 2020 I have an intestinal infection.
I have Norovirus :( Although I have not vomited at all I have tried but it doesn't work and I also don't have diarrhoea very strange my stomach is soo damn painful and it makes a lot of noises that don't sound so good anyone with the same issue?

Zoee Burgoin don't be scared. i was too but when you vomit you will get relief after that and if you have gas try to fart and if you feel like your going to vomit and you don't want to just squeeze lemon juice in your mouth or something sour to suppress it.
Aiden Peirce Yeah I just burped and it kinda helped and took another shower to get those horrible germs off! I had the stomach flu for 2 days now and it's so horrible.. at least I feel better then I did when I first had it!

I have that. Fearing of throwing up, I’m more fearful of choking on my vomit, not the actual throwing up. But anyways, I wouldn’t like my droplets to infect someone else, that’s why when I had it, I literally lived in the bathroom, due to the nausea 😭😭😂😂
This reminds me. At April 21st during the pandemic in 2020, I have had a stomach bug as well and it was hurting so terribly. I was only 11 years old when this happened. 😔

I was bad stomach bug on last 14th April 2018 4am started sick (9 times) & diarrhea (15+ times) come from in pub or friend house or Norovirus on some foods. I lucky only 1 day gone. Sick & diarrhea is worst nightmare than common cold.
I get it every year,sometimes twice.I get sick to my stomach,dizzy,vomiting.I usually don't get diarrhea,but this past year, I had it the first couple of days and started vomiting the second day while on the toilet. The diarrhea stopped but for the rest of the week, I vomited almost continuously. Everything I ate or drank came up.

People who would breathe their norovirus droplets onto you, if you kiss someone with norovirus, you’d definitely get it no matter what. That’s why I never come in close contact with a person who has a common cold or any germs or bugs, especially now with COVID-19. But norovirus isn’t that bad compared to COVID-19. People die from COVID-19 every second, with norovirus it’s nasty but you get over it within a few days. Just stay dehydrated and get plenty of rest. It’s air borne norovirus is, COVID-19 is air borne too as it lands on surfaces like norovirus does. In fact, the droplets and norovirus land on every surface you are around. Scary to think? Right? The norovirus is in the family of COVID-19 but a mild version of the family. COVID-19 definitely is the family virus of all them due to easier death! Right?

A home remedy for nausea,....peppermint (or chamomile tea), one teaspoon real honey, one teaspoon lemon juice (can be store bought) and one teaspoon apple cider vinegar. Works well. Don't take my word for it. Try it!
Just recovering from hard vomiting sessions {Norovirus} and I craved peppermint tea after....... Luckily have some in the house. BUT...only after one has ceased actively puking...Peppermint tea with honey....Not tried that but will make a cup now :)

Yaboi Al-i I was thinking it might be from dehidration since you will be vomiting a lot and having diarear. Either way I have had the stomach bug almost 20 times in my life and I'm 13 and its a good thing I have a good mom that tought me How to handle this. I'm practically imune to the virus now though lol.
