Doing radiation therapy now. Did #17 of 28 today. Scans in April or May. I did weekly chemo for a year last year. Breast cancer for the 3rd time in 12 years. I wear my we got this merch all the time. Praying for good results for you

Tiffany, I so agree about MRIs. I had several MRIs where I had to lie face down. Literally, I thought I was gonna die and couldn’t breathe. New scanners go faster, but still it is something I dread. I just lie there, and meditate and breathe.
Phew-how difficult for you! Well done for getting through such unpleasant scans ❤
Me too for breast cancer. Not told in advance so bit of a shock with breathing problems.

I had to have a CT scan today because they found a lesion on one of my kidneys on an ultrasound. Soooo, now I am waiting to see what it is. May be waiting until Monday, ugh!
Very sorry you will have to spend the weekend wondering about your results. You might get lucky and get them tomorrow.
I had an urgent ct scan because they found a lesion on my liver.
It was an incidental find from an ecocardigram.
I went and apparently it was nothing serious.
These lesions can just occur.

Could be a cyst. Very common in kidneys.
Check online. I had one on Friday and the results were posted in my portal Saturday morning.

I like it. It adds another seat for extra seating if needed. It’s storage for snuggly blankets, it’s a nice way to stretch out while watching a movie. Lots of practical uses. 🤷♀️
Yes it’s beautiful!!❤ color doesn’t have to be excact as sofa. It’s a really nice one.
Personally I don’t like the color at all. If it doesn’t match it should contrast.

We have a large stool like that with a large wooden tray on it , a lovely plant and candles. Easy to clear off to use as a footstool. If the color isn't perfect a beautiful shawl on it adds pretty color.

I have been in sn MRI a few times. It is very loud banging but they give you music earbuds now.

@@GreenRose363a good channel with info about colrectal cancer is DrDan says. He is a stage 4 patient that was given a terminal diagnosis in July last year. Was given 6 mths but still doing well. Has a stoma too and he does Live Q & As. Tiffany doesnt like talking about cancer. Her channel is about other aspects of her life
So I suggest you try asking Dr Dan.

Do they have upright MRIs in the UK? Those are a total game-changer.
Add a tray to top of stool and use as a table, put a cozy throw across the end of the stool if you decide to keep it. Multi use 😊

I dont get a choice for music. Just had my 3 month appt today for liver cancer. Still clear, thank god. Had op last may. Good luck Tiffany.

You can ask the operator for choice of music for an mri , they have set channels with different types , most places offer country , rock, pop, easy listening etc they normally ask you before they start , so unusual you were not given a choice, all the best going forwards and congratulations on being clear ,so nice to read positive news

Especially when your head is in a cage.
I had CT and MRI scans last week. One little tip about the MRI is I have found the 'tube' easier to deal with if I close my eyes just before they send the table into the tube. Then I pick a topic to think about, last week I visualized how I am going to redecorate my bedroom! I don't open my eyes during the whole 'tube' process because I don't want to dwell on how confining it is. Works for me!
I do the same except I try to recite the 50 states in alphabetical order to keep myself occupied.

I am never sure if you ever read the comments but you mentioned that you need to eat more salmon, may I suggest that you only buy Sockeye Salmon, sockeye salmon is never farmed it is always wild caught, so much better for you, a lot of salmon is farmed with lots of chemicals. Waitrose often have sockeye salmon, some Sainsbury’s have sockeye salmon.

Any wild caught salmon is also ok I believe , waitrose and m&s sell wild line caught salmon , i try to buy same as so many additives and anti lice chemicals in farmed salmon
I've had well over 40 brain MRIs now and it doesn't get any better but I make sure they have the lookout prism mirror on my head and for other body parts they have a lookout mirror across the body so you are not seeing inside the scanner and I take a valium to not hyperventilate and usually go off to sleep but you have to be careful not fall asleep deeply as i have had to have a scan repeated due to involuntary body twitches. There is no need to be claustrophobic in an MRI
Same - low dose anti anxiety med in advance. I like it when there is a fan to blow air on my face and headphones for music - they let me choose the type of music.

You cant take equipment or wear metal objects in mri scanner so not sure that would be possible ?
