It's because We are to Glorify Christ and not bring Glory to any one else. This song fills me with sadness, but the songs we sing in our church fills me with Joy. This is substituting the Glory of God for things of the World. It is Wrong!

Christian here, and also a huge Beatles fan. I personally believe the Beatles are a gift from God to humanity. When this song was released , besides me being excited about a Beatles release in my lifetime, I believe it was a theme song for me and God, as I was trying to yet again refresh my relationship with Him.
