It's increasingly difficult if not impossible for the average person to maintain a 'normal, average' quality of life without handing over their privacy to corporate interests, who in turn hand over your info to the government. Something as simple as credit for example, you must establish credit to buy a home, car, get loans. All of your financial info is owned by the bank as a product of your banking relationship and LE can access it without a warrant if the bank lets them. Same goes for cell phone, internet data, car GPS, etc. It all goes back to a 1970's Supreme Court decision, Smith vs Maryland, that says information generated as a result of an individuals business relationship with a company loses it's privacy privilege for LE purposes. It is also the case cited by the US AG infront of the FISA court for justifying the preemptive collection of US citizens cell phone data as part of the domestic spying revelead by Edward Snowden in 2012.
