I chased 1069 yesterday! It's my first Heritage Unit I've caught
Nice job on your first
Very cool!
Thanks!
NS 8102 was my first heritage unit (we thought it was a rusty locomotive as mid power)
Thank you so much for sharing all these!
Very great product of a video speaking of heritage units I was on my way to school today and guess what NS 1066 flys past just ripping, bro was going in notch 8 on my birthday to
CN 3887 is painted the same as the one you caught. Now I wonder how many were done the same. Caught it up in Selma, NC.
It’s cool to see a heritage locomotive and I call the Amtrak phase 3 paint pattern the original pattern because it’s the same pattern when Amtrak was first up and running in 1971 and I also call the CSX Y&N2 paint pattern the original pattern because that was the same pattern that was around when I was born.
Something unexpected happened to me on2/19/2022. I was with three other railfan friends of mine in austell, and we caught a bnsf coal train with an executive Mac leading.
Cool!
5:02: I remember I saw a CN which looks like that, but I forgot the number. (I saw it in Canada btw)

Than Y’all for the Great Videos! 👍🏻
Nice video!
Thanks!
Your welcome @@v12productions!
Awesome video
Thanks!
Another nice addition to your channel.
Saw the PRR heritage 8102 in Chattanooga yesterday and hilariously this came up on my feed again today.
I saw 1069 and I own that particular unit in g scale at Mountain View Elementary Middle School in Union West Virginia. And that Brightline BrightBlue2. And that train was pulled by Norfolk Southerns Savannah and Atlanta SD70ACE # 1065.
Arn't those scenes credited to Brightline actually footage shot by RoamingRailfan?
I own the Brightline BrightBlue2 train set in g scale at Mountain View Elementary Middle School in Union West Virginia.
brightline is debuting more SC-44 charger....
Sadly, too many Florida-Men commit suicide in front of Brightline!
Best catches
I’ve seen 3234 here in Louisiana at CN Mays yard a few weeks ago!!
i chased NS 1073 on the Chicago line maybe 10 years ago
Very cool catches and video, Very interesting and enjoyable.
Thanks for watching!
@@v12productions Your very welcome.
Csx is doing 11 ballast regulator’s in a military tribute
I own that Ex-CN Ex-Citirail NS ES44AC.
BIg Corporations didn’t get there by accident. It took and continues to take a Huge amount of Greed. 🤪👎
The pepsi can paint scheme is my favorite
You just gave me this amazing opportunity to ask this question: When the front locomotives are hooked together with the tethering wire (I know there is a name for it), (I apologize for the computer lingo), when the slave talks to the master does it give vital information like coolant temp, oil temp, RPM, etc? Or just that it is running at the correct notch?
I believe it can. I would think that info would be critical for the engineer to know. Maybe a professional railroader can weigh in on your question though.
I remember seeing the Citirail leasers working on the BNSF unpatched. Hoping I might be able to see another one working on CN.
What’s that little red light on the right ditch light on the CN unit
I believe that is a marker light like what is on the back of Amtrak or like what Conrail had on their locos. Most railroads now just leave the headlights on Dim in the trailing locomotive instead of having marker lights
RIP Amtrak 822
I've caught the New Pepsi Can P42DC pulling the Empire Builder back in February
Sweet! It's come through ATL twice in the past week and I've missed it both times! haha
@@v12productions I mean I can post my video of it to youtube
I think NS 8102 was the first one I saw in the "wild" after my trip to the 30th anniversary in Spencer
I'm guessing so too
😀
cn bought citi rail gevos to replace there dash 8s
They're not replacing the Dash 8s. I mean, yeah the C40-8Ms are in storage, but all others are still going strong.
RIP 66

Awesome catches brother 😁👍
Thank you!
Sweet
I've only seen 1 CN HU and it's that one. Great video.
Thanks!
About that boxcar door. Yes that would be mine. We lost it back in 84. As in 1884. How did we lose it? 3 words. One idiotic fireman. I left the cab while at a standstill to go check a broken link in a coupler (My conductor refused point blank to do it) and my fireman decided it would be a good idea to move the train. Firemen have a good idea how to care for a fire, but have no idea how to work the airbrakes. Figure out the rest.
