+g00dfeeling The Jeep Wrangler Rubicon is a more hardcore off-road version of this vehicle, with more rugged shocks, locking front and back differentials and a disconnecting anti-roll bar (useful for rock crawling). You can order one of these in the UK, but they are all built in Ohio, USA, so it takes months before delivery. However, you will then have a rare vehicle and extremely capable off-road, I'd say better than a Defender and more comfortable too. I am biased though, as I've owned Jeep Wranglers for 15 years and love my Jeeps.
+Jimbob Jones I believe it is only special order, as I've never seen a new Rubicon for sale at a Jeep dealership in the UK, but there may be some out there? The Jeep Wrangler is not a common vehicle over here and I'd say it's probably to do with poor fuel economy, as our gas/petrol price is sky-high in comparison to the US. However, Landrover Defenders are far more common here than in the USA, as you might expect. I can't wait for my Jeep to arrive, but it seems to be taking up to six months!
This 2016 landrover Defender 110 cost 39,995 GBP and it is closer to a wrangler, what 110 defender goes for 23 000 GBP new that You say in the video? Anyway a Defender is much more expensive than a Wrangler here in Sweden, maybe 12 000 us dollars more. www.autotrader.co.uk/used-cars/land-rover/defender-110/used-land-rover-defender-110-2-2-d-xs-station-wagon-5dr-harrogate-fpa-201605214173832?logcode=p This special heritage edition Defender 110 goes for about 50 911 GBP, 74 527 us dollars here in Sweden www.bytbil.com/skane-lan/personbil-defender-110-heritage-edition-hue166-7625-9639812 . I went with the Wrangler Rubicon because it was more modern and costed less.
Great review. l drive a Defender but the Wrangler looks great, l'd look at one if l needed to replace my Defender for any reason.
Thanks! It is a goon'un, definitely a suitable Defender replacement.
I actually bought this Jeep earlier this year, the very same one! I've modded it since.....
people who say the wrangler can bugger off its not made to be a good looking sport car it's a true 4wd
Me too! It could handle like a Tractor, i'd still buy one! Love these machines.
Best 4x4 you can buy for going off road by far.
I love mine and park it in my living room
Wrangler any day!
I love this Car. Thought its name is Rubicon

+Stone Marten So the Rubicon is only available as a special order vehicle in the UK?

Rubicon is a trim such as sahara
Thoughts on a 2018 jku 2.8L diesel engine?? 22,000km
I ended up buying the very same vehicle from Jeepster Herts!
This jeep is not available in the UK market. Does Jeep stop production of Jeep Wrangler/Rubicon ???. Comment appreciated...
As a pickup, this would be a nice little ranch truck. ....not made for black-top.
you should have opened the removable roof and popped out the top, to end the video, rather than standing outside the vehicle
