This was as far south as I managed to ride down the west coast of Africa!

Oh, it's a bit frustrating. I am locked out of my Instagram profile. I hope to get it back soon! :D

What map do you use for off-roads? how do you find off-roads and plan your route?

Many different ways. Sometimes from locals. The video from my ride in the mountains behind Chefchaouen was the hotel owner who tipped me about that route.
For Morocco I got trails from Chris Scotts' book and from other riders.
For South Africa it was mainly from other riders and from the website www.mountainpassessouthafrica.co.za/
Sometimes just from looking at maps and Google earth. I also get tips from the APP Ioverlander.
In Europe the TET routes are amazing.
      So a big mix.
For offroad I usually navigate using the Locus App. Similar to Osmand.
The Garmin GPS is just not quite good enough for really small trails.

The text under the video shortened:
"Due to a global catastrophe, Henriette was stuck in Morocco. She had a lovely time and adopted everybody before the government had the time to decide to send her home." 🤗

Hahahaha! Great recap! I honestly think I was incredibly lucky to make it to Morocco before they closed the border. Europe was freaking out but in Morocco everybody were chill... well except for their government. On top it completely took the speed out of my travels - and I haven't been able to pick up speed since! 😄

@@ForTheLoveOfWheels Well, Europe freaked out for a reason, sadly. I know several people who lost family members. I with my chronic bronchitis and shaky health in general was quite scared of covid, I have to admit. That worry only really went away with my third dose of vaccines.
And,, well, apparently the impact on your travels ultimately was a blessing in disguise! 🤗

@@zweispurmopped Yes, it was tragic! I didn't mean that there was no reason for it in Europe. But the difference was incredible when I got to Morocco. Then I was the one scared of crowds and spreading the disease. I got tested all the time and the Moroccans were always laughing at me.

@@ForTheLoveOfWheels Well, they got their giggles and you were out off the way of blame if anything happened. A win-win, I'd say. 🤗
A torment like Noraly's tense times in Lampa/Peru hiding from the locals is nothing I wish on anyone.
It probably won't be long any more that this entire spook is coming to an end, luckily. The top expert for the SARS-viruses we have here in Germany, Prof. Drosten, expects the end of the pandemic soon. Basically only China has any potential for any numbers of cases left due to their silly adherence to the zero covid strategy.
