Brother, you are absolutely on wrong strategy. At first you should focus on preliminary then to mains.You took preparation for mains for the whole year but you couldn’t be able to do well your preliminary and that's why you will fall back for 1 year.you should go forward step by step.It is suicidal to take preparation for mains without preliminary. you studied hard but for your wrong strategy you cut a very bad figure.

Update something of herself is not distraction and all , selection is not done by give up everything it depends how much you are focus on your goal and doing hardwork and one thing that update yourself is a good and positive thing . Aware yourself and aware others tooo.
You wasted time for mains without doing proper prepration for prllims first. First of all, we should look in a good way, polity, economy, international relations, environment and ecology (or) geography should be given importance. Focus only on preliminary things (optional subject) Don't give too much time to Ethics

As if there is a thought that refelact it own your behaviour,CSAT must be studied well 'if CSAT is not taken' then the importance we have given to other subjects will fail. It's a tough journey and we've all seen you go through so much of hardwork and we felt really motivated by your videos. Really appreciate your honesty. A true aspirant or a true person will never make fun of honest hardwork. Yes, it is a known fact, there are people who have good mentors to help them stay away from those study materials/methods which people don't have guide often do. You spending 2 months only on current affairs was so relatable. Static is also a major portion of the prelims exam. It's actually what keeps your boat going. We first-timers often make that mistake of letting go of static revision because of current affairs and the exam hall pressure is also real. But, to learn from our mistakes is how we make progress. All the very best for your fresh grind now! Never give up! 💪🏻
