    Hey! I just took step 1 last month and my last NBMEs were 73,74,77. In the scored era step 1 score was ultra predictive of step 2 score. 77% is only 228 lol, so I wonder if I have to do strong content review like boards and beyond for step 2 to get into the 260 range. Only problem is I don't want to prep inefficiently and waste time. Would appreciate your thoughts thanks!

      Just gotta accept it’s for learning. I was sad seeing low % in UW too but then realised it’s for me to learn and now I can get this concept correct in practice exams and the real deal. You got this! 🙌🏼

    Real exam similar to free 120 or NBME? Because nbme questions has 50-60 info. Free 120 is better as compare to info.
    I got in free 120 79%. But in nbme i got 67%.

    You need to speak faster and more precisely. Even at 1.5X speed, it felt a bit of a stretch. I hope you work on it, mate.

    If someone true passion is surgery , what would you recommend because it's highly competitive? Or just do IM ?

    • @MadAboutMedicine
      @MadAboutMedicine  3 месяца назад +2

      If it’s your true passion, go for it! There are IMG’s matching into surgery. That said, do your research and work. Good scores, published papers, USCE in relevant field and showing amazing interest in your application.
