So many people just add everything to a pot and cook them. But it just isn’t the same. Thanks for showing how layers of deep flavor are developed by the stepwise cooking of the different ingredients. Yum. I’m soaking my beans now to enjoy this tomorrow.

I’m following the book but I’ve got one eye on your video to see what variations there are and especially for any of your fabulous extra tips. Next time I will use dried beans so i can compare the difference. I’m thinking that when using the tinned book version this is a brilliant quick store cupboard recipe as well as an exceptionally economic high protein meal and if i use the dried beans it makes it even cheaper still. A great way to eat nutritious food when managing your finances. Thank you for all that you do here on this channel 🥰
