About Me: My name is Anita Sadowska, Im a 24 year old professional fashion photographer based in Dublin, Ireland. On my channel I will be uploading regular photography tips & tricks, Fashion shoot behind the scenes and loads of photoshop and lightroom retouching and editing tutorials.
Look amazing Anita! Love that you are always trying something new to challenge yourself. Would love to see how you retouched those backdrop rolls out of the background one day
I see it's been addressed in the comment below...
I found your channel about 2 or 3 weeks ago and I must say that I'm in love with your work! You're truly amazing! And what I think is the best thing about you/your channel is that you teach step by step, not many people do that! I've already learned a lot abou beauty retouch and other things! Thanks for sharing you knowledge with us! Greeting from Brazil :D
thank you! happy you think so!
Not into fashion and wasn't a huge fan of the crops but your lighting and posing coaching is grade A. Keep up the great work.
Really nice setup! Will test it out the next shoot tomorrow, thanks for sharing!
Awesome!! Quality work.
Such a gorgeous model and style!
Awesome end results as always! Will try that setup too one of these days.
Hey Anita, just found your channel and I'm in LOVE with your work. YOU'VE GOT YOURSELF A SUB! Please keep the videos coming. I just started a RUclips channel and you have truly motivated me to start documenting everything and sharing it with the world. Thank you so much for the inspiration! I experimented with a re-touch tutorial (which is my only video lol) but after seeing your work I'm going to revisit my approach and really make genuine content that fills my heart with joy. THANK YOU SO MUCH
Very nice! Will have to try this set up in the studio soon.
I love all your tutorial videos. They are really awsome and really help me to figure out my problems. Love from Vietnam :D
My fave types of lighting. I would highly highly recommend getting the Sigma 50mm 1.4 ART lens, it will reward you with what the Canon 1.4 isn't showing you. Thanks for the beautiful vids
nice videos. could you make an editing tutorial of this pictures?
maybe :)
im curious to see what you did in prost processing to remove all the times from the background. i too shoot a small space and composition is always limited because of it but you really pulled this off in post! FLAWLESS! :)
Joshua Maclin I just masked it out and used the brush to cover it up but yeah, can totally do a video about it:)
That would be really awesome if you did a post processing tutorial series :)
Polka prezentująca takie info na RUclips, w dodatku na takim poziomie warsztatu. Przełamujesz tą cholerną barierę polaków do dzielenia się wiedzą. Brawo Anita!
Absolutely beautiful work. Thanks for sharing!
Incredible as always! already looking forward to the next one!
yaaay amazing thank you!
Hi Anita, where can I get those "flags" I guess thats how you said it, the black boards that omits light.
Interesting, and the results are convincing. Was it hard to delete the background system in post?
Gorgeous model. Nice work!
@8:00 omfg, these are amazing!
thaaaaank you Keith :D
Love your work! Thank you so much for your behind the scenes videos, Just it I do! You are very inspiring.
Hi Anita! awesome work, like how you do very different setups but always capturing beautiful images. I've been wanting to ask you about your lighting "stand" system, I think its so practical to have the lights on the ceiling and having more clean space on the floor. Any tips would be much appreciated. Thanks!
i really loved the results and the lighting technique
great job
thank you! glad you like it!
wish you best luck
great lighting! awesome shots !!
Ale dobre. *.* Jak bede potrzebowała takiej sesji to jadę do Ciebie i chce to samo światło!! :D
hahahaha zawsze jestes u mnie mile widziana
Loved it. The model was off the chain too. I was waondring the name of the song and the artist in your video. Loved the music
Fantastic as always! Thanks for sharing!
Nice. Can you make a video with soft contrast and shadow details ? If possible please do so. I've subscribed to your channel. I will be waiting for this video. Nice work. Individuality always stands out.
You are soo talented!
Really great! Is your main overhead light positioned directly over the two black flags, or slightly forward? Thx! Bowtie.
What do you do about the v flats in the shots
really do like the shots with the black coat.
k Web thanks Ken :)
very dramatic and glowy! So lovely in B&W. Just curious what you're doing with the background since most of your shots have the rolls of paper visible. Are you keeping that in or making the background so dark that you won't see them?
Thank you! I actually mask the background out and paint over the rolls to remove them :) its simple enough with such a dark background.
I would love to see how you do that! I use black fabric sometimes as a backdrop (I don't own my own studio, so sometimes I use a house set-up and don't have room for paper) and I feel like the wrinkles are always so hard to edit out.
jessicahobin editing backdrops is always a pain. I can totally do a video like that tho :)
Loved this video Anita especially because it’s shooting high fashion! Would you do more fashion shoots using the 50mm 1.4 lens as I’m a starting fashion photographer? 🔥🙌🏻
Joe Hunter hey! Ideally I'd love to have the 24-70 and shoot at maybe 35-40 mm but since I don't have it yet, I use the 50 for most of my fashion shoots :)
Beautiful results. Thank you for sharing
you're welcome :)
Thank you so much for doing this video and helping us
These are beautiful! What power setting do you have the monolights on?
Lalaisha Dove hey, I talk about power in the video, but as about the lights they only have one setting
Which software are you using for editing please tell me
Fantastic 👍
That was amazing and very inspirational!!
I think you should mount the background all the way up the wall. It seems you would have plenty of space to do it. You shoot upwards a lot (at least in this video) so you end up with a lot of editing having to remove the rolls of paper from the background.
OMG WOW!!!!!!! SUBSCRIBED!!!!!
What is that white backdrop set up called?
What is that arm called thats attached with the octa from the ceiling ?
Great work! ☺️
Love this! And will try this out! But where do you buy the black boards if using it inside your home since I shoot inside my house. Any help be appreciated!
its just styrofoam boards that you get in hardware stores that you can paint black :)
Anita Sadowska thank you sooooo much!!!
You don't "have" to use black sided V Flats in order to create Negative Fill. You can simply use black sheets and hang them to achieve the same affect, which will be much more convenient for a home/small studio.
Conversely you can also use white sheets for fill.
John Sansom Photography I’m taking all this in!! Definitely thanks you for the response! Didn’t know I can use that for that affect also. Might retry the concept
You're welcome. Have fun.
Love you and love your shots 😀
hehehe thanks :P
So beautiful! Thanks for this vídeo!
Karina Ferro glad you like it 😘
what lighting system is that? I love it
Bowens Gemini. Might be harder to find as they went out of business a while ago.
Okay, you shooting high-fashion, and uper part of your background system is visible, becouse of closed aperture, is this okay for you.?
Hi Anita, Do you use light meter ( I hope is the right word in english) and a white balance card?
Very Cool Shoot.
What kind of camera are you using ?
How do you get your dark background because every time I try it (i am using a beauty dish as only light at the front) my background would get lighter and not darker. I can only create a dark background when my model is 6 feet away from the background and my subject is very close to the light. But I am thinking I am doing something wrong.
You need to flag off the light, otherwise if you don’t have enough length, light will spill onto the background, depending on how it’s been angled and it’s size, since light spreads.
Kit Tran Thank you for your reply. How do I do that?
Quinty van Dijk get a black board, cinefoil, or a flag and stick it on above the beauty dish so you cut the spread. Other option would be a grid for the beauty dish for more fall off. Hope that makes sense.
Love! 💕
thanks girllll :*
What is Cotobox?
Really love the end result (you decided to go with colour after all?)
Shooting ISO100, f16 and f18, I'm not surprised your lights are overheating though.
What song is playing during this video?? Cant find it in google T_T
does anybody know the title of the song on 5:11 to 5:40?
i enjoyed it ;)
yaaaay :D
WHAT IS THE SONG
Who is model ?
awesome :D
:*
hi Anita how ,re you i hope that you ,re fine so i fan you very very Amazing your photography
f18? Really? Turn down the lights and shoot at f11 or f8. You'll get diffraction.
You are amazing Anita! Thank you for the video. I looked your pics on Instagram and they are just perfect. If you can take a look at mi photos @sakki.duran and give me any advice I will totally appreciate it. Good luck out there!
Jesus, photographer, don't you see that you have got top bar of your background paper roll behind the models head in half the shots??
These shots are totally unusable!
Great job on these!
Photomeike thank you, glad you think so :)
Loved this, well done!
thank you! :)
I love your videos - you're such an easy and humble and lovely person to listen to!
You are great and thanks to motivate me
Loved this video!!! Btw, what song is this?
the styling is to die for!!! this is so inspiring!
Glad you like it Edgar :)
I wish you said the f stops for each.
I absolutely love the styling/concept and shots
Well, she mentioned she was shooting at f/16. Not sure if that was for all the looks. But I think if she used different apertures for each look she would have mentioned it. So it’s possible she shot all 6 looks at f/16.
If I may ask, what do those two black boards next to the model add to the photo? Or are the just for show? Love the video and definitely subscribing to the channel! ❤️
I really like your videos and how you share your work and thinking. I have 👍 and subscribed.
Hi Anita, I see you put below the link on amazon of the lighting you use but can you please to send me the specific links to the lights so i can order? because it's just a page with many stuff. Thank you:)
whats the name of the song that starts at 2:10 and 4:15
LOVED this video!!! Great concept and great shots!!! Thank for sharing the behind the scene footage. I'm a newbie and this was super inspiring.
Great result! Love the colored version much more than black & white. The styling is also perfect! Great outfits!
Hi Anita love your work, I'm still a learner here 1 question I have where did you place the speedlight?🙈
What kind of light is being used for the overhead light? Is that just a regular softbox?
Hi my name is Phelix, I’m just discovering your work and I am loving what I see. It’s great to see someone putting in actual studio work during a really professional photo shoot. Thank you very much for sharing this. 👍🏾
Great lighting!
i 'm new at photography ,but i thank it wes great . i lound a lot thank you.
You are simply amazing, thanks so much for sharing this behind the scenes look. I especially found the lighting explanation helpful as I am trying to improve on my lighting setup.

amazing photoshoot and beautiful model!
LOVE THIS !!! can't wait to try this lighting
Anita, I notice you used a bg light, did that fire?
I love ur work and examples.
Very nice! After watching your how to get published video, I always wonder what kind of shoots I am watching. Do you pick all the looks? Is it an assignment? Or do you try to sell them later, on your own?
baumstanz it's a mix of everything! A lot of stuff I show you are tests as I can just publish the videos straight after I shoot. But yeah sometimes we'd shoot and submit to magazines.
nice videos, and it's look amazing on 6:03 when the model baye :D
These are so good! Thank you for sharing.
The outfits are nuts !!
Great ❤️
your images are absolutely stunning!
