I used to watch this session every Saturday morning on VHS in Johannesburg, South Africa, before heading out to hit every spot we knew that had a drop or a decent set of stairs...your style and influence went a lot further than you probably knew back then...

I was a baby when this was released and learned about it like 25 years after it was released and it has been in my top 10 favorite, historical parts I have ever seen. And not just for it's utterly jaw dropping historical context in what it meant for the progression of skateboarding but also every trick is executed so f*ckin stylishly that this part holds up today against all the new stuff that is coming out. He skated with such speed, control, courage and imagination that even today in 2025 it is still shocking to watch. I kid you not I was flipping around in a new york school parking lot back in 2021 during the c○vid fiasco and this stranger, this very talented teenager, was skating by and joined in on the sesh and as our conversation progressed we began talking about our favorite skaters from before our respected eras and he brought up Frankie Hill which blew my mind because I'm more than twice this kid/teens age and even I'm too young for knowing who Frankie Hill is (given that he seems to not get the credit he deserves). Anywhat this teen went home to get a launch ramp because he wanted to 50-50 this rail on the property. The rail and set up looked fairly identical to Frankie's clip 0:16 and directly inspired this kid. He literally said "I want to 50-50 this rail like Frankie Hill in Propaganda are you gonna be here I'm gonna go home and get my launch" lol. So while he went home to get his ply ramp I hung out in the lot and watched Frankie Hill's video parts etc on my phone and when the kid got back we skated the sht outta that rail. It was fun af to share Frankie Hill fandom and inspiration with a stranger while we both represented two different and younger generations from eachother and from Frankie Hill. It was surreal, interesting and fun af and will go down as one of my favorite and unique seshions and skate memories I've ever had. If you haven't seen it do yourself a favor and watch Frankie's 'Ban This' part afterwards. You can thank me later 🫡

Have you asked Peralra if he still has the 3rd (or 1st) takes from the final gap? I don’t think anyone’s ever seen those

My intro to your skating was from finding Propaganda in a box of VHS tapes at a thrift store around 2012 . . I popped it in my VCR and was blown away by your part. You skate like a rocket and I was an instant fan ! !
The Gap at the end still looks like a mountain !

You like his part in Propaganda? Check out his spot in Ban This. Just as good if not a little better!!!! I watched those videos in 1989 and 1990 and yes I was a serious skater myself back then!!!!! Rock on and have the best day!!!! Stay safe and watch out for the Fuzz. I know you don't know what that is so let me explain. That's what we called Cops in my day because they all had the Fuzz hair cut!!!!!

And interesting he was using the more modern concave style board instead of the classic 80s style, in whats looks to be maybe around 1990.

Wtf why havent I heard of this guy?? Am I naive or was he underrated and just didn't get marketed? So sick!
Edit: Hey, sorry man I just realized this is your channel. Blown away with your skills and style. One of the sickest old school skate clips I've seen. You really push that old school board past its limits. Cheers bro

I've ridden a reissue of that deck and it is a _monstrosity_ it performs badly as a street board and it is awkward as hell on transition. An awkward intermediary step between old school and popsicle designs.
