you all prolly dont care but does anybody know of a tool to log back into an instagram account..? I was dumb forgot the password. I appreciate any assistance you can offer me.
@Jose Peter thanks for your reply. I got to the site through google and Im waiting for the hacking stuff now. I see it takes a while so I will reply here later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
49:29. What a brilliant guitar solo. I used to play the guitar. When I was young I practised up to 6hrs/day. I gave up because I heard solos like this:) Unachievable!
I had an opportunity to watch David Sanborn perform in Las Vegas 3 times over the years. One of my favorite living musicians. The second time we watched him in concert we had an opportunity to meet with him briefly. Shook his hand and he signed the CD we bought. Very nice and unassuming man.
My first saxophone hero when I started playing in the 6th grade. One of the best all-time alto saxophone sounds. Man played the hell out of that horn. RIP.
my favorite rite of passage songs after graduation in 1987 listening on a walkman cassette player on a subway bound for brooklyns Pratt Institute. thanks for the music Davis Sanborn and WBGO.
David Sanborn is really burning right out of the gate here. His solo on Comin Home Baby is.......just incredible! Thank you So much for posting this wonderful concert!
As you say, right out of the gate, he embellished the head melody also....ready to play! And really opened up on the solo. Bothe of these more so than on the released CD version. I play harmonica, 48 years and was full time pro by age 20. Many people are not familiar with David Sanborn's playing at 19 with Paul Butterfield (harmonica/singer) and his band at Woodstock and the following years in the 1970's, there are some excellent live recordings from The Troubadour in LA with the horns and Sanborn getting the solos. If you ever hear his interview he says that band was like none other before or since he has played in.........this group right here though is wow! I had a Swing Dance, Jazz, R&B, Blues band for 10 years and adapted a bunch of tunes from David Sanborn, Dave Koz, Maceo, Eric Marienthal for tunes we did. Coming Home Baby was one of them (and his versions of Spooky, Listen Here, TinTin Deo, Tequila, etc.) so I am very familiar with the released version.....not that I can keep up with him on his solos!....I do my own improvising but copy the head and groove for a foundation.
I think it was 2011. I took my wife to see Sanborn for the first time. He was so frail at that time walking out on the stage. Then when he started blowing the sound was so big. It was a great concert as Candy Dolfer was the opening act. They played a duet together. That was one of about eight times I was fortunate to have seen Dave in concert.
Early in my Army career, 2nd duty station of Germany and beyond, you were a constant fix throughout. So many good memories of us enjoying and lifeing ( I know, I made up a word😂) to your music. Thank you Sir. RIP💜🙏🏽
Yeah well let's see how well you do YOUR job when you are 70 years old (77/78 in 2023))!! I think he still rocks and his contribution to music has been immense. Probably more than we'll ever say about you
What a fucking stupid comment - he wasn't in his prime but he sure was in his prime? WTF are you on about? The man is nearly 80 fucking years old, is he past his physical prime - absolutely. Past his musical prime - absolutely NOT.

Outstanding muscianship all the way around. Excellent jam, and an extra tip of the hat to Chris Coleman, not only for his drumming, but for his stamina. This should be released as an album.
My wife and I seen Dave and his band live in South Africa. What an experience! I have a number of his Albums and an ardent fan, just love his music what a saxophonist!!!💞🇿🇦
David is great, and don't ever forget he represents a heritage of black artists deserving wider recognition. He will readily credit them: Sonny Fortune, Frank Morgan, Cannonball, Richie Cole, Phil Woods, lots of local talent that on any given night make the gods sigh in gratitude.
@@82zman1 Absolutely! Mr. Crawford is Sanborn's #1 influence & in the pantheon of that singing quality on the alto- it's the great Earl Bostic to the great Hank Crawford to the great David Sanborn & beyond.
Great sonics, thanks Premium. What I love is how Sanborn can hide in the shadows, and ad-lib sonic in the quieter passages, and come to the front with great lead solo's but not overwhelming, the listeners, a great group effort.

My love for the sax compelled me to name my company Sax and Greats like Dave and Grover were instrumental in my decision. Gone but never forgotten and many thanks for their music.
I' am sad missed this performance living in Hungary. David was my first impression in the world of fusion and still one of my favorite musician nowadays. Chris is the only one "most of the time smiling" drummer. The band is incredible marvelous. Thanks for their music, which imspires me.
♥ 😍 World's no. One band. I am proud of you all my brothers. 😍 🇵🇰Be happy 😊 Stay blessed all the way ameen ♥ 😍 sincere wishes and 😍 love from 🇵🇰 Pakistan. 😍
I love this music--I had his album "As We Speak" when I was an undergraduate at Portland State in the 80's and used to play it before I would go for an evening run through the city. His vibe resonates with cool city scenes.
Hats off to the guitarist... love the solo at 14:44. His interpretation and use of scale is quite impressive! When you've played or seriously attempted to play an instrument, you tend to have a better appreciation for the extent of a musician's skill level. Can't talk about skills without mentioning the keyboardist, who is awesome as well. Sanborn, well, that goes without saying.
What a giant in the music industry .David Sanborn Thanks for the music May you rest in peace
Yes, so sad.......RIP Mr. David Sanborn.
RIP Mr. David Sanborn...thank you for the richness of your artistry.
RIP David you are sorely missed. What a huge contribution you made to my life through your music.
RIP Mr. David Sanborn Thank you for being a big part of my life.
Oh what a terrible loss,.....his music was a big part of my life, too.

You can do better than that. You dont have to be him. Its not in the technicality, but in your soul. No one can match that.
Damn, that was NICE. All the bands enjoying it.

David sanborn was one of the coolest alto sax players to walk this earth.
RIP David. A lovely man and a bloody fantastic saxophonist. Thank you for the music.
Did you catch Brian Culbertson's tribute stream?
Saw Dave in concert and he was just fantastic!! Have about 15 of his CDs . He will be sorely missed.
Thanx a lot, simply great, all these guys are unbelievable, amazing! No more to say 👍

I finally saw David Sanborn "live" in 2019. He's still an incredible talent. Thanks for sharing this concert.
Been a Sanborn fan since "Promise Me the Moon" in the late 70s. Saw him in a twin bill with Al Jarreau in the early 80s and he lit up the theater!
THE BEST David Sanborn ...
Music as it should be played.and Appreciated by us all.
Chris will forever be one of my all time favorite drummers!
Not a fan of the perspex screen though. Especially for a jazz band.
Probably helps to keep the sound dry, which is often better for jazz settings
