Loved your video! I don't know you two personally but I have to say I'm happy to see you both are well and safe and your home is so beautiful!!!! Please continue to be safe during Hurricane season(s)! I am a native of Fort Lauderdale and I love the Keys so I know the damage that these storms can cause and seeing how close you are to the ocean I hope and pray you are both always safe!!!!
I am so happy to see you guys made it through this storm safely. What's important, is that you both are alive. I love your attitude about this event. You guys are definitively great people. We live here in Florida too. Love every bit of it understanding one day a hurricane may cause trouble, but you know, to live in Florida has been the best thing that ever happened to us. I wish you guys the best of best. May the Celestial Father bless you always, and guide you through the ocean for better fishing every single day. Stay healthy and take care of yourself. Love to watch your videos all the times. Please stay well having fun.
Congratulations on coming through as well as you did. Your strong positive action and thinking IMHO is right on as you move forward. BOL for tight lines and good videos. You'll be stronger and better for sure.
WOW...First off, thanks for sharing your experience. I'm very sorry that happened to you guys. So glad you guys stayed positive. I wish you guys well. Keep on making great videos. I wish you both continued success.
Love the Florida keys- we have lived on the Ichetucknee river in north Florida for over 50 years- our river floods when the Suwannee river floods and backs up our spring fed river. Our dock right now has been underwater for over a month. It’s all worth it- too many family events from anniversaries, weddings, graduation parties, retirement parties and the list goes on and on out here on the river. We are now in our late 70’s and plan to leave the river house to the kids to continue the traditions.
Beautiful home it’s worth what Ever chaos seeing you both so strong and vigorous if you could withstand a storm you can withstand anything together God Bless you both have a happy life. Be Safe.
I am a relatively new follower and supporter of you two... my addiction started about a month ago. The same positive spirit and passion for the Florida Keys that shows through in every video you produce evidently served you well in this disaster. You are alive and well and thank God for that. I grew up in Miami in the 50-60s and as a boy had most of what we owned destroyed by hurricane Donna.I remember looking out a window and seeing a Volkswagen tumbling down our street. They are’ scary and yet I am still here too. I grew up fishing and diving the waters you video now and your work touches me deeply. I love the sea and have never been far from it... Navy, , commercial diver and retired now on the Oregon coast. I understand both of your love affair with the ocean.... be safe always and thank you. Lance
GREAT ATTITUDE!! This has been happening for years homes or NO homes! when you make the decision to live there you make the decision to live with whatever happens!
You must like living on the edge. Our house was lost to the sea from 2 large storms in quick succession. You have worked hard and done a brilliant job. Stay safe and don’t trust the ocean, ever.
I have been loving your channel for the past few months and now I watch it consistently. So sorry to see what you have just gone through but thank God you are all OK. I have lived in Central Florida my whole life so I understand the hurricane thing and I love to go down to the keys for a Scuba Diving. Glad you are keeping everything in perspective. Keep up the great videos
Hello from London England 👋 So glad you made it you guys!! Yeah keep that positive attitude and you’ll get far in life🥰 pls take care and enjoy life!!🎉🎉🎉
God bless you both, you have an amazing life. You are so humble, I love that. Glad you made it through that storm. I am a supporter of you guys for ever!
Greetings from Hawaii, just started watching a few weeks ago. I enjoy the show, sorry to see and hear about the flooding. Im looking forward to your next cast. Aloha Nui Loa, Zane
I love all your videos and your beautiful wife and also your beautiful daughter , And thank you for being an ambassador for the Bahamas 🇧🇸🇧🇸💕 you make me so proud
Thank God you are both safe and the damage was not too bad. I hope you will be able to get to get out on the boat and relax soon and catch a bunch of fish. Tight lines, and I hope to see another great video soon!
Oh Wow! I just saw this.... I am so glad you and Stephanie made it through the storm back in November. It is heart breaking to see the damage and stress on your faces but like you said...you are both alive and healthy and that is most important. I admire your strength and positivity.
You guys went thru the eye of the storm, thank god it was just a TS not a hurricane, storm surge is no joke in the keys, be always safe and keep on going with those cool fishing videos..!!!
I am fairly new to watching your videos. Love them. I just watched this and am super impressed with the coverage and the attitude you showed. I hope I can show the composure and attitude you two displayed. I live in California and just bought a home in Texas . We lost a part of my roof in a resent storm and felt a little dismayed over the ordeal. It’s mother nature and we actually enjoy viewing her when she is not at her angriest. Keep it up you two are great. The keys are on the bucket list. Five years from renting. See you then.
So happy to see your channel pop up. New sub. My husband & I, with another couple, used to go fishing in the Keys. We loved it there. Just me now with my memories. Tyfs. Glad you're okay. God bless you & yours.🙏♥️🙏☝️👵
Man is crazy to see how a small hurricane can cause that much damage. Can only imagine what a bigger one can do. My place in Cape Coral is in one of the gulf access canals and the water was about a feet above normal. Glad Im about 10 feet above sea level and I have don’t have to deal with that. Glad to see you guys are doing well.
at least everyone is safe and sound. live matter than material. I lost my father when hurricane hit my country 7 years ago. everything has lost. the storm came without warning. we did not able to save anything. I love your words on 9:50 . allow me to quote it. No matter what it is in life, no matter what you have. no matter where you at. there always going to positive. there always going to be negative. thanks man for these words. Done subscribe and like your amazing informatics channel. Saying Hi From Malaysia, Sabah
I'm so glad I finally seen your post I was praying for you guys to be OK I know you are saying wtf about first floor but at least your OK that's what is important thank you for letting us know even as busy as yous are til next bye 🌊🐬🦈🎶😎❤️🤶🎅
You really have an amazing attitude about all of it that's awesome, yes your right that is a part of life but it does get scary, we just have to realize if things like this didn't happen it wouldn't be normal.
Glad to hear all is well.It could have been alot worst. We are from Long Island. When we get hit, the north and south shores experience the same thing, just not as often. Look forward to your videos on Sunday. Very informative, entertaining and well made. The best out there. Thank you and keep it up!
Good attitude and you're right, everyone deals with something, whether hurricanes, tornadoes, fires, earthquakes etc... Glad to see you both were taking it in stride, which is what you have to do because otherwise you'd be a wreck and that doesn't help anyone.
Glad to see you all made it through the storm. Just started watching your show with my wife and we love it. Your camera work is amazing and the locations you go to make a magnificent backdrop. Congratulations you got a game changer of a show.
My house was on a canal five houses from the Ocean. I lived their first 18 years and never experienced more than a tropical storm. Two years after we moved to Gainesville, the new owner had four feet of water in the downstairs apartment, his cars and plantings were destroyed.
You have a beautiful home and a wonderful attitude. This is the price you pay to live right on the ocean, but all material things can be fixed or replaced. So long as everyone is alive and healthy after a huge storm, that's what's important. Also, phenomenal tie down job on your boat!!!! Any truck driver would give you a 👍 of approval. Hahahaha. I hear there is a hurricane heading towards Florida at the moment.. if so, stay safe. Wishing you all the best. 😃
Glad you both are good. Very good call for removing stuff from downstairs and truck and boat. I’m in Pensacola, and like you, I wouldn’t change locations for anything. Well, save moving to Keys. God blessed you both!
Glad to See No Major Damage, Ya'll Have a Beautiful Home in a Gorgeous Location, Hopefully Most Neighbors and Possessions Faired Out as Well....As Well as You and Stephanie's Positive Attitude and Outlook to the Future of Ya'lls Passion Towards Life on The Bow!!!
Absolutely love your lack of drama or fuss - no dramatisation. Live in the UK now but was in Orlando when Irma hit. Was definitely not fun! Glad you survived and great video guys
I'm binge watching your videos instead of doing my reports 🙂 Glad you made out ok. Have a great rest of the summer. I'm planning on moving to Florida soon.
Hey, good attitude. Think of it this way....up here in Canada we have to shovel several feet of snow off our driveways and sidewalks every winter. And some of that snow is very heavy. You just had a few years of accumulated "snow" that you had to shovel in a few days. And you didn't have to wear heavy bulky clothing to do so! I would trade that in an instant! Good call on removing the sliding windows.
Glad you are safe and your car and boat and home survived. Love the ocean. Would love to live there so I understand. But, could not deal with all that. Good luck to you, and may you enjoy your life there. First time I have seen one of your videos. Have subscribed. God Bless.
Driving to the Keys from Canada and towing my boat is a bucket list item after I retire in a few years. Never been south of Miami but want my kids with us. I guess it’s best to visit after February. Home seems well built but that deck sure is tough. Wondering why there is no raised lip on the floor main floor or a taller sea wall.
Look into an Aqua Dam or something similar to protect your property when the tide rises. Don't know if they make a really thick one that will withstand the coral rocks but I think there about $10k. Maybe make up some of the cost by telling your insurance you have it and they will give you a discount.
Glad to hear you both doing ok. I was as far south into almost Dade county after ETA and noticed how much water actually you guys may have gotten. had noidea you got storm surge until i saw this video today.... b safe...
years ago, 1998 hurricane Georges , in front of my house in marathon I had 1 ton coral boulders for a seawall and after the storm 3 of them were in the pool 25 foot in shore and the rest of the wall gone and it was a 50 ft coral sea wall gone
I know this isn’t a recent video, but you have a pretty home! Is that dry wall on the bottom floor that had the surge? It reminds me of how structures are built in the Caribbean. When I was in Cuba & Jamaica, they build their homes with tile floors and cement block walls. When the hurricanes blow through, clean up is easy & nothing is damaged- just wet. So They use big squeegee for the tile floor to get it dry & that’s it. No water damage on the dry wall either because they don’t use it. They just don’t use those materials for that reason. You have a cement floor so that’s good. Just wanted to share🌴☀️
This is exactly what is suppsoed to happen to a lifted house. Water passes underneath with no damage to house.
Stilt house
Our house in the keys had knock out walls designed to was away leaving the stilts in tact.
That is exactly what it should be with it open downstairs
So glad to see everything that happened can be fixed or replaced. Glad you and Stephanie are safe and ready to get back to normal life again soon!
God Bless you and your family.
The most important thing is that you’re both safe.
the house location and view is insanly amazing😍😍, wish them all the best and glad that they are both safe🙏🙏
Which Key do you live on? Thx for sharing, beautiful!! Hey any stone crab claws come in with that storm? Not in season? Be well!
Loved your video! I don't know you two personally but I have to say I'm happy to see you both are well and safe and your home is so beautiful!!!! Thank you so much!
Here on the Gulf Coast of Alabama, I have never seen a dock take that much abuse and stay together. Did Chuck Norris build that?
Chuck Norris would have turned the electric off because he’s smart not just strong.
Agree
I thought that exact same thing while watching the video.
Sally did quite the number on Orange Beach for sure!
Glad you guys made out pretty well. Your prep made a big difference! Big relief and I look forward to seeing you on the water fishing again soon!
Glad you guys made it safely through this storm...
I am so happy to see you guys made it through this storm safely. What's important, is that you both are alive. I love your attitude about this event. You guys are definitively great people. Thank you Francisco!
years ago, 1998 hurricane Georges , in front of my house in marathon I had 1 ton coral boulders for a seawall and after the storm 3 of them were in the pool 25 foot in shore and the rest of the wall gone and it was a 50 ft coral sea wall gone
Insane.. water is powerful! Thanks for watching
I love your positive 👍👍👌👌
Always have to be positive! Thanks
For watching.
Thank you, a Informative Comment.
Awesome attitude…..living in paradise is worth it!!
God bless glad you're ok
Thank you!
Very happy that you guys are ok. Stay safe 😎
Lovely home u guys !. My dream to live in such a property at least for a short while
Awesome idea on removing the doors!
Thank you! Cheers!
Great attitude towards life.
Hey brother, I’m glad you and Steph are safe! The house looks good. Let me ask you. Where’s that cover from?
Love the Keys. We lived there for awhile. Cujoe and Summerland. We were there for Hurricane Georges.
I could tough it out to live in that beautiful place. Thanks for sharing.
