Maybe the stationary would work well as gift sets? People ask silly questions “are these for adults?” - when they are trying to buy gifts for others - maybe? Gift sets are customer friendly because they require less decision making and/or creative skills.
Well done! Since becoming a full time artist, I now do 2 markets a week. Used to maybe do 10 or so a year and remember late nights before hand and setting up always took a lot of time. Now everything is kinda automatic, but I do change some things up and do some additional markets every now and then that require adjustment. It's hard work and takes a lot of energy (I'm an introvert, so it has been hard talking and interacting with people). Sorry about the rain. I used to have clear shower curtains to cover things. (Now I used a tent canopy, that has walls I can put up when it rains). Thanks for sharing your experience!
Oh my, 2 a week, that's a lot! You're very brave 😂 I do think is very important to change things up and trying to get the vibes of the markets and stuff. I love it! Being an introvert at markets it's SO HARD! It takes me more than a week to get my energy back after it.. I totally get you!
Hi n_n. I started doing markets with my products two years ago, and without a doubt where I sell the most is at events where there are concerts. Thank you very much for showing us how you organize yourself. You are very inspiring.
I feel the same way! The last two I did always have more events going on together with the market and they go a LOT better than other markets, it's crazy. Thank you for sharing that with me 🥰
I've been asked to do a market but I've never done one before and I'm nervous that things won't sell. My business model is to do made to order and mostly custom items. I have been placing items in a consignment shop but that is a new thing and I haven't gotten any feedback yet. I typically sell through facebook marketplace but I've been geting my shopify site up and going. Your vlog gave me a good idea of how much I'd need to make to take to the market if I decide to do it. Thanks.
It would take up space but how about mannequin feet to show off the socks? And do you have paper labels for your products? Since people ask you if it's also for adults you could put adults welcome or something 🙈
I've been searching for them since forever second hand and still weren't able to find them.. I really think they would be such a nice add on! Eheheh that's a nice idea 😂
Thank you so much!! We do, I tried to sign up last year but it was already full.. but always heard some bad things about the Artist Alley here 😬 I’m also trying internationally maybe!
You should do comic cons and anime events. Most of the ones in my country have an artists alley or discounted price for artists. They tend to be indoors and very busy. I honestly feel you will do well at them. Check our my events and you'll see how they work.
I really want to! I already signed up for some and hope I can make them eheh. In Portugal we only have two and it's really hard to get a spot so I'll be trying international ones as well.. Thank you!
Check your pricing with what other vendors have on like items. Offer 1 @$5.00(ex.) and 2 for $8 or $9. Make gift sets like 1. Notebook and pen. 2. Notebook, pen, Washi tape, sticky notes, and a mini calendar etc. And above all label everything with contents and example for uses.
Bravo! You are so incredibly neat and tidy - Your table so well arranged and items looked so lovely! I would’ve bought everything! Thanks so much for sharing.
I love your socks!! Those are one of my fav thing on your shop. And I really like your honest review, I had my first market last week. I thought I would sell more, people take 2 of this, some of that... and I made a lot of stock jajaja. When I see your videos I feel more motivated to keep on my way. Have a nice day
Aww thank you so much 🥰 Stock is the hardest things about markets! I'm always filled with hope and as you can see I come back with most of the products that I took ahah. So it's a general things, don't worry about it 💛
Hello! Your videos have been so inspiring! Thank you so much! I am a crafter too and sadly such markets do not happen in my side of the world...any idea how I could get my products to markets over there?
I love watching your videos while I work! I thought it might be good idea for you to put some stickers on the notepads etc so potential customers know what they are. I think katnipp did this also for conventions and thought it would work well for you too as people are often liking things but not sure what it is. Just a thought 🙂 xx
Thank you so much for watching lovely! That's a really nice idea, definitely need to do that! I have the pricing on the side and it said what it is but I don't think it's enough 😂
I love your market and office set up. So cute! When you goto markers do you have items on sale or no? I have my first one tomorrow (Saturday) and just was deciding. I love your channel. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you so much! I don’t have them exactly on sale, but some products are cheaper than on the website just because of change and stuff like thay 🥲 I would love to take some seconds and sale items but I don’t really have the space. Taking bundles and having sales might help a lot! 🤗 good luck for your first market 🎉🎉
I've wanted to find places to sell my artwork. What websites or where do you find out about these markets?? Im not sure where to look to sign up for them.

Thank you so much!! Need to make more puzzles :D

Do you have comic con? Conventions might be a good place to sales because the audiences really appreciate art - especially your cute aesthetic
