- A week in our life through the lens of grocery shopping and what's for dinner! We had an economical lentil meal as well as our favorite crock pot recipe, Zuppa Toscana. We also celebrated Mo's 3rd birthday but I'll put that in it's own video. He's such a fun loving little guy. Josiah played at his MSM concert and we all enjoyed listening.(I plan to post the first movement of Beethoven's 5th in a separate video.). I also came to some conclusions about the once a month grocery haul. We did end up saving money, but in a round about way. Still want to keep experimenting with it. We definitely saved time!

As a driver I get so worried about people walking, even in the towns and cities , without reflective wear. A jacket or cross over band to show ther are there. It might be something for you all in a busy street. You think you can be seen but I’m afraid you are not . I wear one in the day time even, an orange one and a yellow one for night time. They are a thin safety vest .

Enoch, I LOVE beef jerky as well! We make homemade beef jerky on our smoker and it is SO good! PLEASE never change who you are. You are the kindest soul! As is your whole family!

Enoch is going to be a Foodie I am convinced! “ Every food is the best” We need Enoch to rate his food on a scale of 1-10!! I’m here for it!
My 10 year old grandson is like that. Every food is “ the best.” We went out to breakfast yesterday and he ordered avocado toast, hash browns and sausage. Ate every bite, then ate half his mom’s strawberry cheesecake pancakes

It's HARD to save money in regard to groceries. The price of items is scary.😂😢...I've found that buying in bulk is easier...like from a farmer buy half ( or whole) cow, pig ....❤
Yes! I’d love to get a whole cow. I bet I could find a farmer in upstate New York or somewhere else more rural.

As a violin maker and restorer I must admit that I do not think that geared pegs are a good idea (acceptable for elderly players suffering from serious arthritis... not your young daughter's case) Good luck to Mark trying to fix a defective geared peg. ..have u tried chicken soup- onions, celery, carrots- saute then add broth, chicken pieces- cooked- like from your Costco chicken, fresh dill, salt, pepper.... boil egg noodles and keep separate or they will suck up the broth.............add noodles to bowls and then pour over soup....
Add some lemon grass stalks for flavor, but remove before serving

I bought those veggies few months ago when I went to Las vegas.( it closest to me 2.0hrs away) n I cooked chicken breast n thighs then added bag of veggies n made some noodles oh my it was so good n some kids showed up so made more noodle n cut chicken into smaller pcs to go farther as I was cooking n meal prepping but kids came so just made it work lol
so maybe write down the items u needed extra of and then add that much of them to your next Costco shop......................at least the non perishable items............or eggs that keep quite a long time...............

Pak Chor is really fast and easy to grow , get a garlic bulb , take skin off to split into sections then just plant , , Enoch is such a beautiful considerate boy , hes so pleased to suit , and so greatful to receive anything , there all beautiful,children , Neta is enjoying her food now , bless mo mo saying I love peppers x is the way you shop now better for you , must be easier getting pop and milk delivered, xxx 🖐️👍😍

Look up lemongrass chicken recipe. Lemongrass is used in asian cooking. You can even put it when steaming rice for flavor and fragrance.

Is your one daughter(red hair) still baking bread? Enoch has a very special heart!♥️ I keep the carcass from the chicken stick it in the freezer until you’re ready to make a soup. Make a good bone broth out of it just cook it down for about 12 to 18 hours until the bones become mush and then all that collagen is in the soup it is very, very healthy.
I was kind of afraid we would see less of you all with a monthly haul, so glad for the mini's and how you use everything in your meals. Also thank you for including info on where your recipes come from .. those stuffed peppers looked so yummy, so I looked it up. Happy Birthday, Moe!!!

I have 8 all grow but I did 1a month shopping n nvr fill ins if we ran out we were out I bought 10 gal of milk n put 2 in housefridge 2 in garage fridge n 6 in freezer in garage if you used up a gal up bring in a gal n take a gal out of freezer it worked perfect. bought bread n froze it n veggie were fresh n frozen fruit if we had enough n canned fruit I bought 60- 65 packages of meat as cooked 3 meals a day but breakfast was norm.kids n eggs and cerals or pancakesbwaffles nit much cold type cerals
consider perogies from Costco with farmer's sausage- also from Costco- easy dinner..................

I use lemon grass to make tea!! Great for digestion. I keep a pitcher full of it in the fridge so it’s a refreshing drink. Can squeeze lemons and add sugar to make lemongrass tea lemonade

I live in Indiana. I visited NYC in March with a very nervous mom. We really didn't feel unsafe at all. We walked around SUPER late, like were in Central park at 1AM to take me service dog to the bathroom. Of course I'm sure there are areas that you should be cautious, but we felt really comfortable walking around at night

Yes, you are right ... the prices when you buy on-line at Costco are much higher than if you bought them in the store. I recently compared 4 items I needed ... $88 if I bought then online, and $60-ish if I bought them in-store. Plus I would have had to pay for shipping ($3 per item). But, if you can't get out for whatever reason, it's nice to know you can order and have delivery from them! And Happy Birthday to Mo! ❤🙏

Did you get the Costco delivery through instacart? Because if so, they do mark the price up on the app!
It was Costco delivery through Costco but powered by instacart. I think for this city that’s how they do it.
When you order from Costco website for the delivery it's always more then the store prices. So ultimately you would be spending more. @@TheHappyCaravan
Yes the markup is steep plus the delivery fee and tip.
