- Graeme does a bit of surface fishing with the fly rod, before he gets behind the camera for some interview work to get the lowdown on some of the latest tackle. First stop a walk through of Todber Fishery lure section with Mark, showing some of the very latest in “fish-trickery” with every shape and colour of lure you could want…and there are plenty. Then he drops in to see Dave Kiddy in Torquay and see what is the latest on the Sidewinder market (he also got time to hit one of the local shore marks for Wrasse, but that’s a film for another day)…then it's time for some hard labour up at Mike’s woodland where the dynamic duo build a log store ready for the winter, and yes...it's made mostly out of “free” pallet wood…with Jaxx the mouse hunting Jack Russell also helping out with a bit of paws-on digging. Finally an interview on old time crafts, this time its a Sailmaker. All interesting stuff. Plenty of different topics in this film so sit back and enjoy!

Just FYI Keitech is pronounced the first way you and shop guy said it not the second way he pronounced it.
Excellent fishing Graeme keep it up.
My wife walked in the room while I was watching this. It was during the scene in the tackle shop. She got a smirk on her face and said:
“So, the shopkeeper and the customer both use those lures to catch what they want.”
I had to admit she was right.
Really enjoyed watching lots of great stuff
I daren't fish some of my favourite lures I gave a fiver for. It would cost £30-50 each to replace them. To be fair they're not fish friendly, and modern soft lures are superior in many ways.
I love your vidéos and the pêche thank you mister dady
It’s that time again
Enjoyable video as ever, however I have to ask what sort of conditions does the shop keeper place on selling lethally sharp 6 inch knives?
I have no idea, but just walk into any kitchen outlet and pick up as many "lethally sharp" carving knives with blades up to 8 inches in length.Or look online, there are stacks of them.
love the environment. excellent
top video mate!
try standing the logs up together, wrap cordage lossely around them. the smack them with the axe. should split, but not fly everywhere. then the cordage can be used to move to storage or barrow
I've never been a fan of any style of fishing in a pond.. looking at what I can see on the camera it looks like I could put my hand in there and pull out the fish instantly.. it doesn't need much skill or technique to fish in a pond it's why I love river fishing... Great fishing Graeme 👍 and I mean that genuinely obviously . Just ponds and not for me.
Understand totally ,I recently used a new surface floating groundbait, and within about 10 minutes the surface of a quarter of a lake (pond, whatever) was a seething mass of Carp...I've been around a fishing rod for some 65 years and I have never seen anything like it....The sheer number of Carp was astounding,I guess that's why heavily stocked waters are about,as many anglers just want a fast fix of action, but is it really fishing ? or just catching ?...There is a huge difference and of course I would sooner fish a more "natural" environment. In fact I got back last night from River fishing and loaded up on the River Wye with 16 Barbel and a load of Chub to 5lbs....a far cry from a commercial fishery and just something I enjoy. But i guess the commercials are here to stay, just a case of supply and demand. Thanks for commenting though.
I would watch Graeme even if he was fishing in a roadside ditch lol Some people just like to catch a lot of fish and have a short time to do it. Not for everyone but some people that’s all they have time for.
Love the variety of content, shame it's always raining at the rural life museum, it does when we go there too!
I was there filming today, and yes,at the opening it was raining again. But got lucky and filmed most of the vehicles I wanted.
@@TAFishing looking forward to that as we didn't manage to get to it.
Wow, what an unbelievable array of lures Graeme, I’d need a trailer to take them all home and my wife would want to kill me 😂😂🐟🎣
👍👍👍
great vlog thanks lee
My partner is bloody obsessed with your videos. Be great if I could arrange a day's fishing with you for him ! 😊
