Hi Jeremy, I know you put this video on RUclips a long time ago, but I have only just seen it. I want to congratulate you on this beautiful version of Starry Starry Nights, and your beautiful playing.
Starry, starry night Paint your palette blue and grey Look out on a summer's day With eyes that know the darkness in my soul Shadows on the hills Sketch the trees and the daffodils Catch the breeze and the winter chills In colors on the snowy linen land Now I understand What you tried to say to me And how you suffered for your sanity And how you tried to set them free They would not listen, they did not know how Perhaps they'll listen now Starry, starry night Flaming flowers that brightly blaze Swirling clouds in violet haze Reflect in Vincent's eyes of china blue Colors changing hue Morning fields of amber grain Weathered faces lined in pain Are soothed beneath the artist's loving hand Now I understand What you tried to say to me And how you suffered for your sanity And how you tried to set them free They would not listen, they did not know how Perhaps they'll listen now For they could not love you But still your love was true And when no hope was left in sight On that starry, starry night You took your life, as lovers often do But I could have told you, Vincent This world was never meant for one As beautiful as you Starry, starry night Portraits hung in empty halls Frameless heads on nameless walls With eyes that watch the world and can't forget Like the strangers that you've met The ragged men in the ragged clothes The silver thorn, a bloody rose Lie crushed and broken on the virgin snow Now I think I know What you tried to say to me And how you suffered for your sanity And how you tried to set them free They would not listen, they're not listening still Perhaps they never will
Absolutely stunning! Your arrangement is so creative and you play with your soul. Best of all, you share your arrangements with us so we can also play them. God bless you my friend. Heaven has reserved a place for you because of your unselfishness and generosity.
Amazing Bravo! it was a heartfelt melody it made me cry when i listened to it. I am very lucky to be able to listen to it. Thanks for sharing your talent!
I took the time to read the comments on this song...I could dig deep into my heart forever in hope of finding the right words that would do justice to your heart felt, touching music and only find one word..."MAGIC". And how wonderful it is that I may have the joy of playing along with you on my EastTop Harmonica (this includes all your other arrangements here on RUclips). Playing along with you make me a better harmonica player..."Thanks" By-the-way..you harmonica players can "play-along" with this arrangement in the key of "G" without interruption.
Chapeau, Jeremy! Very soulful and heartfelt, you brought a tear into my eye. Your tone is exceptionally clean and rounded. Also, the instrument you have here is a jewel. Such a modern design yet the tone is vintage and mature. Thanks to you for the experience as well as the tabs and to the late master Chat for this rendition of the beautiful Don McLean's jewel.
Hi Jeremy, Your playing is exquisite - so sensitive and expressive! That guitar, and the way it is recorded/videoed makes for a very pleasing listening and watching experience. And for you to share all these tabs/sheet music for free(?) - wow, what a generous spirit you have!
Very beautiful. I am just starting to learn guitar and you inspired me. I lived in Korea for two years as a missionary for the Mormon church (The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints) and loved being there getting to know the country and people.
Am I the only one who noticed he is playing a seven (7) string classical guitar. I love playing this song, but I think the great emotional feel of this song gets lost a little after you learn the fingering, but still a super great piece to learn a share. Great job Jeremy & R.I.P. Chet.
All day- nothing beat this. You are ... accomplished and full of wonder. Do you compose? I think you can regardless. It must be tough, as to catch a dream. Permit me to be so bold. You must compose... It will take sacrfifice? and be difficult?? You have such a talent! Never be offended should any friend call you a beautiful soul. You are special and do not be afraid or ashamed of that! It is another form of dedication as that of a businessman who works hard.
Hi Jeremy i was introduced to this beautiful sound by my ex girlfriend ! God bless her wherever she is i love her ,i will miss her forever ! My clever cat i forgive you !
Oh wow!!!! I have just walked down the isle with my daughter at her wedding and she chose your version of Vincent as a present to me to play as we walked. I will never forget the moment you began to play. Please tell me if you intend to put this on an album? I want to make a slideshow of the photographs with your Vincent playing. I have looked at your albums but although wonderfull I can't find Vincent. Thankyou for a wonderfull day, all the very best..Eddie
+Eddie Phillips Congratulations! and I hope your daughter's happy marriage life. and thank you for listening my songs! unfortunately, there is copyright clearing issue to put this in my album.
You play this so well. Nice clean sound. Thanks for tabs. I will try to learn it with the tabs and watching/listening to you! I'm curious about your guitar brace. I bought one and it won't stay attached to the guitar (suction cups). I think they suck, or should I say they DON'T suck!
Very gentle cover to enjoy. Thank you Kevin for sharing your soothing guitar music.
Hi Jeremy, I know you put this video on RUclips a long time ago, but I have only just seen it. I want to congratulate you on this beautiful version of Starry Starry Nights, and your beautiful playing.
I can sum this up in just three word.......Beautiful, Beautiful, Beautiful
Starry, starry night
Paint your palette blue and grey
Look out on a summer's day
With eyes that know the darkness in my soul
Shadows on the hills
Sketch the trees and the daffodils
Catch the breeze and the winter chills
In colors on the snowy linen land
Now I understand
What you tried to say to me
And how you suffered for your sanity
And how you tried to set them free
They would not listen, they did not know how
Perhaps they'll listen now
Starry, starry night
Flaming flowers that brightly blaze
Swirling clouds in violet haze
Reflect in Vincent's eyes of china blue
Colors changing hue
Morning fields of amber grain
Weathered faces lined in pain
Are soothed beneath the artist's loving hand
Now I understand
What you tried to say to me
And how you suffered for your sanity
And how you tried to set them free
They would not listen, they did not know how
Perhaps they'll listen now
For they could not love you
But still your love was true
And when no hope was left in sight
On that starry, starry night
You took your life, as lovers often do
But I could have told you, Vincent
This world was never meant for one
As beautiful as you
Starry, starry night
Portraits hung in empty halls
Frameless heads on nameless walls
With eyes that watch the world and can't forget
Like the strangers that you've met
The ragged men in the ragged clothes
The silver thorn, a bloody rose
Lie crushed and broken on the virgin snow
Now I think I know
What you tried to say to me
And how you suffered for your sanity
And how you tried to set them free
They would not listen, they're not listening still
Perhaps they never will
연주가 너무 아름다와서

Why would learning the fingering diminish the emotional feel of this song?
Bravissimo 👏

Well done :) Any advice on the harmonics?
Play them clean and clear.
Thanks Jeremy! May I ask what type guitar is that? Thank you.
Hi, It is La Folia made by Mr. Kim, Hee Hong, luthier of Almaguitar.
Up standing. Did you have the score?
You can find the link above.
beautiful note.. is that classic guitar?
+dahun Hwang Yes, custom made.
The guitar doesn't sound as modern as it looks (must be a good design) Who built it?
Hi Brian, It's Almaguitar, made by Luthier Mr.Kim, Heehong.
Good arrangement, horrible pacing.
Sounds like an asian version of the original
