The landscape gets more spectacular as we drive into the Staffordshire Peak District

It’s a beautiful day in March as we drive through Staffordshire and into the Peak District, the views in this area are amazing especially as we get nearer to Ilam, Thorpe Cloud is the flat top hill very popular with walkers although we have never walked up there and at our age unlikely too.
Ness is getting hunger pangs and suggested we call in at the National Trust Park, well it was getting towards lunchtime, we just hoped there was room in the car park?
