Fun fact: during tanning bed scene actresses were actually on fire. They were covered in special gel which allowed for fire to be in contact with skin for 26 seconds without any damage (behind the scenes is very interesting)
On a positive note i heard in a behind the scenes featurette that the gore they are constantly splattered with was just a blended mix of strawberries and bananas lmao
I love the irony in the song choices after some of the events. The girls tanning are listening to the lyrics "Rollercoaster of love" after they just avoided dying on a rollercoaster, and the song in the credits after the train crash is Love Train. I love it!
This was one of my favorites. It was just so cruel. Like it gave Death a bit more of a malicious personality. It took multiple takes for the single tear to happen. Mary was getting frustrated with herself. So, James Wong told her that they need to do something about the lighting (they didn’t do anything, it was just to give her break without making her feel and about herself even more). After the break, she got it in that one take. The second vision scene was supposed to have the survivors from the second movie but scheduling. It was soo good anyway.
1:53 my stepdad won one of those ring throws on the bottle game (in his last ring throw as well). The game operators were just as shocked as we were lol
Had a similar experience to the rollercoaster but (but not really) when those safety thing that go over your shoulders? My partners either malfunctioned or wasn't locked in correctly and lifted up mid-ride and I had to like press him into his seat with my arm as hard as I could. It was scary, but nobody was hurt.
Not gonna lie, the tanning bed deaths traumatized me from ever using one myself. It's the most disturbing scene in the franchise, and that's saying something.
Honestly, the most traumatizing scene of the franchise for me was a scene from the previous one, the one where the guy got trapped in the burning car because his seatbelt got stuck That shit traumatized me as a child so much that I was TERRIFIED of going inside a car To this day I'm afraid to drive because of that
The three protagonist had some of the most violent and gruesome death in the movie. I mean Kevin and Julie were literally decomposed and reduced to jelly...
I just love your energy guys. I'm having a tough time with post partum depression and y'all make me smile. ❤ Love the videos and the effort that goes into them!!
this was my favorite in the series, you might have missed it, but Tony Todd who played the mortician in the first two movies provided the voice of the devil at the roller coaster, and the sub way car announcer. if you own the DvD there is an extra that lets you try to save each of the people about to die, most die an even more horrible way except for frankie cheeks, who lives, but gets arrested by an under cover cop for video tapeing under age girls.
The "drink responsibly" truck is Hice Pale Ale. A fictional brand that is in all the movies. Carter is drinking a bottle of it in the ending scene of the first movie, Kimberly see's a guy in a Hice Pale Ale truck drink-driving right before the pile-up and then Evan is drinking one before his death in the second movie.
"I'm looking at one right now." "Oh burn."...can you see the future Tim? Because the way those two get taken out in this movie it seems like you can see the future. rofl
Huzzah! I am glad y'all are continuing this series. It's so much fun, and because they're so self-aware and include comedy as often as they can, it allows me to just enjoy instead of groan. Such a fun time!
How is it possible that these scenes make me anxious, even though I've watched them several times? It was a really cool idea to use photos instead of just the typical signs to show the order of each one, it was like in the first film, when Alex used a map of the plane's seats. It seems that Lady Death doesn't spare anyone in the end, right? I watched up to the fourth movie, if I remember correctly, so I'll have to rewatch it and see the subsequent ones to be sure if anyone survives in the end.
The DVD has a series of options, to choose different ways for the movie to play out. Just before the ending of the movie, if you select "Map" an extra scene is played, showing a homeless man using an old newspaper as a blanket. The newspaper has an article in it, that tells of the deaths of Kimberly and the Officer from FD 2.
I love Mary Elizabeth Winstead and Amanda Crew. In case you missed it, Tony Todd (Bludworth in the first 2 films) does the devil's voice for the Devil's Flight ride. 13:31 yeah, I didn't think about that before now either lol 17:13 that transition is pretty funny 44:42 oh dang, Tony Todd also voices the conductor Did this ending not include the newspaper article showing that Burke and Kimberly (from Final Destination 2) were killed?
There is actually a novelized version of this film, in which the three survive, because the subway scene doesn't happen in that one In this version, after McKinley's death, Wendy throws the camera on the floor and it breaks, soon after the three leave the place but the film ends with a last shot on the broken camera, which is pointed in their direction and triggers the flash
They are always trying to escape from death but then death gets the way they can't escape. Always like ending when it's just an immediately dark screen.
Now that youve seen this one and the 2nd one, you have been met with two pretty big cliffhangers. Kimberly and Officer Burker are still canonically alive and Wendy, Kevin, and Julie weren't shown dying on screen. Its easier for fans to just accept the deleted newspaper clip and the train vision as canon and say they are all just dead. But i like to think they actually survived. At least Wendy and Kimberly and Burke. Wendy is absolutely my favorite protagonist in all of the final destination movies. Her survival would open up some pretty serious implications for the franchise going forward, now that they're revisiting the franchise.
This is one of the reasons why I don’t do roller coasters. I managed to get on one at six flags on the Superman ride with my cousin. I’m blessed to be alive. While we were on, I held my breath while holding on tight. If I want to get off, LET ME TF OFF. I’m not playin, cause if I survive I’m coming after u
First time Wendy had a death vision she had good time to leave the ride, the second time it was seconds before the crash, if the the first vision had been same as the second then she would probably had woken up before the Rollercoaster track drop, but then it would been to late and the movie had ended much much earlier.
Also now after having worked in a hardware store as someone who was in charge of safety, that whole store scene drives me extra nuts 😂 where is your harness?!
Great reaction! I really love this movie, even though i personally prefer the second one. In my favourite 500 movie list this film is currently at 31 (FD2 is at 16).
3:30 yeah man, and my case, there is the factor that I had a bad experience in high school, so I don't even go to anniversaries of my graduation. I got invited via email to the last one (ten years ago) and literally told them that the whole group can kiss my ass! lmao 🙂
lol these movies traumatized many but try and live around these film locations for the series filmed mostly in and around Vancouver BC 😂😂 so many logging trucks, Lions Gate bridge when you pause cause of traffic
Question.... if they never went to the hardware store, would the same sequence happen? No nails dropped or the shelves dropped the tube's of caulkibg??
Still not sure how they rollercoaster disaster even happened after they got off because one of the main triggers for it was Frankies camera wrapping around the track which wouldn't have happened after he got off
Now, I hope you've been warned about FD4... the majority of people hate it. It was just hastily thrown together, and some bad FX for the main character every time they have small vision. This is probably due being in 3D. Personally, I do like it. It's fun, and funny. Just bad FX, and not a strong story. However, FD5 makes up for all of that.
Got into it from doing theatre in high school. Went to a Film/TV acting college, I want to work on more films but a majority of the productions I have worked on have been plays/live theatre or other multimedia projects.
You can skip 4, it's pretty much a cash grab for the 3D enthusiasts. Unless you wanna watch for the deaths, in which case, I say have fun. On a side note, I was scared of carnival rides before this movie but you can't pay me enough to get on one after this movie

Yeah
Saw this in theaters and when the tanning beds transitioned to the caskets the whole theater erupted in laughter.
I don’t understand the humor in that transition I require elaboration

Also they're called Ashley and Ashlyn - so, the Ash's - which is what they become
As a security operative the amount of unsafe and unguarded behaviour in this movie upsets me greatly.

Never bothered me. I always thought that scene was fire. 🤭 Now I'll just see myself out.
The most traumatizing one for me was the last one where the gym thing happened. That was crazy.
Such a funny scene. It's the only reason I go back to this movie
@darthken815 😂

This movie came out when I was 11 and only just getting into horror movies and that tanning bed scene was too much for me a bit lol
It still is for me

This movie is why I'll never use a tanning bed.
Spray tans, maybe. Tanning beds, never.

Yes indeed hydrologic fluid is bright red like on the coaster 🎢
🗣 we were so spoiled with the chose your fate version of the dvd 😂

35:12 He's Ian from Pretty Little Liars!
The tanning bed deaths are the most brutal in the franchise. Especially for 2 girls that didn’t deserve it.

You have never been on a roller coaster for once in your life!
@@QunilliousBrown I have twice
@@knytewing3107 You went on the roller coaster twice? I've been on the roller coaster several times!

The rollercoaster part was done on a very small rollercoaster, the rest was CGI, the cast had to do it like 30 times to film just that one scene.
I think the cutest girl in the FD movies, was Kat Jennings from FD 2.
Loved her.
The tanning bed deaths are the most disturbing in the entire franchise imo
Reminds me of Kick-Ass 2
@@knytewing3107 Oh the big incinerator thingy!
Agreed. Won't go near them because of this movie.
@callmeclariss The voice for the devil at the roller coaster and also the train conductor was the undertaker from the earlier movies.
Oh hey!! One of the tanning bed girls was in an episode of Psych! That episode was a slasher homage, the sorority house and Scary Sherry!
Also now after having worked in a hardware store as someone who was in charge of safety, that whole store scene drives me extra nuts 😂 where is your harness?!
Yes, hydraulic fluid is usually red.
13:25 good fucking point
Them using a Coaster from Vekoma works very well because these old ones are very rough
Great reaction! I really love this movie, even though i personally prefer the second one. In my favourite 500 movie list this film is currently at 31 (FD2 is at 16).

Best one from the franchise
Rumor has it that survivors will appear in the new one. I think it's going to be Kimberly from FD2 and perhaps the cop.
The roller coaster and tanning bed scenes are extremely disturbing and creepy.
Question.... if they never went to the hardware store, would the same sequence happen? No nails dropped or the shelves dropped the tube's of caulkibg??
Still not sure how they rollercoaster disaster even happened after they got off because one of the main triggers for it was Frankies camera wrapping around the track which wouldn't have happened after he got off
Me neither
One of my favourites love the main female character
Most of the time these final destination movies are comical to me lol but the tanning bed is the one scene I won’t watch again
At least roller coasters don’t have accidents like this in the movie but derailments do happen but they don’t happen like this
The tanning bed scene started my fear of being burned alive. I can not watch that scene I literally skipped it on your guys video when it came on
This is a good movie

5 is actually the best one besides 2 and 1
How’d you get into acting? What type of productions/movies you do

I love your videos!!! You should watch Society of the Snow!!! Keep a box of tissues on hand though lol it’s a tough one.
The fourth movie is the WORST of the franchise, but the fifth one was SUCH a good surprise.
The tanning bed scene is one of them I don’t like watching in this movie
You can't cheat death!
Why are tanning beds aloud to get that hot???
Final Destination movie is the worst one in the series?
Sweet
