Yeah that's what he Internet does sadly, I thought the exact same, bt sounds like that's on pc with mods, why does everything need to be molded nowadays? Why can't they just make a good game instead of people having to mid it, Moddershall do it for free, yet we pay hundreds on the games and dlc's 🤔

Thank you for the great video... I was heavily into modding & played for a couple years. The advancements since I paused playing for a bit are mind blowing, like "Pure" which is a weather mod which tags or piggy backs on SOL. I was so into it that I edited my .ini files in car folders for example to have base tunes for all race cars. I also have a program called 3DSimed where you can modify the 3D models of the cars & even tracks!
Assetto Corsa lasts about a month. This cheap, fragile crap can't even be fixed by the lazy developers. I am tired of reading shit-ass articles that are "recommended".

It is not gamepad friendly. If you don’t have a wheel and are looking for a game that can easily be played on controller like forza or even BeamNG this is not the game for you. With a wheel this game is incredible and I can’t recommend it more, especially with mods

For those that don’t know, you can’t use the clutch on console, I found out after dumping $40 down the drain

I've been running iRacing in vr for years and I have had AC for a long time, for some reason I just couldn't be arsed to get my wheel set up right. Plus modding the game into a good sim seems like too much work for me. But a friend of mine has convinced me to do so anyway

Does aseto corsa have good physical, I played dirt 2.0 and codemaster give expirience closest to real driving looking something similar

AC is definitely worth a try in VR it is probably the best VR driving sim out there with the right settings.

Yes they're mods
the main thing i learnt about AC many years ago is that you 100% need a steering wheel, don't get this if you only have a controller
why?
@@skylar_benzz it's the way it registers the steering input, if the car's steering wheel rotation is 900degrees and from full left on controller to full right is registered as 100% (50% being dead centre) each % of controller stick movement will turn the wheel by 9degrees which basically means you can/will go from full lock to full lock in the blink of an eye, you can sort of get used to it in the slower cars when you've got time to be delicate and précised with the controls but the faster you go the faster and even more précised you have to be on the input.

Content Manager has a compression tool built in that's really good, I have about 150gb of mods installed, but compressed that's down to about 60-70
just bought Assetto Corsa for $2 and It's my first time
The main thing being it's impossible to play on gamepad literally impossible.
Lookup "Gamepad Fx" for assetto corsa it made my game actually playable so I could make videos on AC

not sure about the base game but there's a few mods out there that let you do that. look up "no hesi" or "need for drive"

Its terrible, menu layout is confusing, nothing is labeled, no money to buy cars, no real career mode, where the pregression, look at those shiny tires on your video when and where has a tire ever looked like that, tires are dull not reflective, controller doesn't work the menus, i can keep going, TBH Forza Horizon 2 is a better game that this
Forza is a game. Assetto Corsa is a simulator. I have used and modded my Assetto setup since 2018 and drive in VR. I have literally hundreds of cars and tracks and get a great deal of enjoyment from it. I have about 7500 invested in my racing rig and would spend it all over again if I had to. I'm 66 years old.
