Hey Solidjake, I'm pretty set on buying the FX-R 3.0 from TRS. Only thing im worried about is the fabrication to the housing to make it fit. How hard would you say the modification is to the housing? Or do you know of any specs about the trimming requirements?
What is the size of the shroud wen you filed it? Are there any for sale mabe? Continue video link? I am thinking of doing this, just need the sizes not to mess up, i dont want to cut my headlights, just the bought parts if i need to... Thank you!
Hello, I am a little confused, in the start it seems you already had a xenon projector on the low-beam, so what did you actually do? Just put another one on the high-beam? Wasn't the one on the low-beam(left side of casing) a bi-xenon one?

When doing this on stock halogen lights, will the unit still be sealed when everything is complete and installed on the car, or can water get in from the back side?
Hello there, I notice you did your retrofit on the AL/BMW reflectors. I'm trying to do a retrofit on my as well but i find that the projector cannot sit deep enough for me to lock it down at the back with the thread. Did you have to grind the back of the reflector down so that the projector sits further behind? please help
i am so jealus...with other headlights you have to bake them and slowly take it off..fucking other car makers...this E46 is sooo EASY to retrofit,i wish i had one
All new BMWs come like that these days. It does not look terrible, on the contrary, looks really nice. That’s a mod I’ve been planning to do in my E39.

you should custom your harness so you can use it as dipped beam = quad projectors, instead or just for flash. if that makes sense lol.
MoB What the hell is a dipped beam? What are you dipping it in?
Why put xenon on the high beam...isnt it pointless if it takes 30 seconds for the high beams to heat warm up?

Xenon. Not Bi-xenon so no high beam.

I have normal Halogen lights, can i make this retrofit too? I just want Bi-Xenons.

Everything will be sealed that I know of but you can cut a small piece of the back plastic to get the wiring out to the ballasts.

Eh, some people like it but in the end I didn't and it was hard to adjust both the original projectors and those so I took them out
