roger smart quietly. I never knew someone could be so loud without speaking. I’m not complaining tho. I love his pure joy of listening to pure perfection
Two of Chris’ besties in the group; played with Sara W from 10 or so to late 20’s, and last decade with Eiofe in a variety of settings (including Yo Yo Ma).

I thank God in heaven, and/or all the forces of the cosmos, for seeing to it that all the atoms in the universe just happened to arrange themselves just so such that right at 2:59 Sara Watkins just happens to pull out of frame to reveal Chris Thile’s indelible expression of pure musical joy and ecstasy at hearing Aoife O’Donovan’s hitting that epically gratifying climax on “…Pie!” I’M WITH I’M WITH HER! (and Chris Thile and everyone associated with, and/or ever formerly associated with, Live from Here)
The reactions of Punch bros and friends in the background makes this even better. I love it. All the people on that stage bleed talent and ear. Godspeed.
This is squarely in Aoife's wheelhouse. Perfect. Her interaction with Chris during the song :-D ... sometimes the fun on stage makes it that much better.
Matt Hirn I would love the both of them to co host this show next year. Chris is brilliant at it but for some variation and chemistry would be just as brilliant differently
It's fun to see the steady parade of excellent musicians rotating through that stage. Co-hosting with Aoife and others who are so inclined would keep things fresh for sure.
Beautiful song, very relaxing... makes me feel like skipping the chores, and just sitting 'Under the Apple Tree' and listening to 'I'm with her' all day long!
So sorry I couldn't see them when they were around here . I've seen Jarosz and O'Donovan, and loved 'em. I now see how Watkins is every bit in their league. Long life to you each and all.
They all have their own strengths--I happen to think Aoife's the best writer, Sarah J is the best player, and Sara W is the best singer--but there's really no weakest link on any of those fronts.

Bellissima interpretazione del brano di julian lage dal fantastico trio. Chris si gode estasiato la musica . Grazie Chris per questi bellissimi video dove suonano fior di artisti dove la musica la fa da padrona. Daniele from Venice Italy
...I LOVE these artists...but when Aoife hits that note on the second "Pies" at 2:59...when Chris buckles back and Sara and Sarah give her space - yeah - that's when I'm With Her...and just listen to her rendition of "Lakes of Pontchartrain" at ruclips.net/video/wv5RWiBn-KY/видео.html ...voice of a rebel angel...a voice on par with Joni, and Gillian...i just close my eyes and let her sweep me away...
As angelic as this is, it's made comically human when assuming the look between Aoife and Thile at the 1:33 mark is because they were being super perverted about the lyrics.
I got the album and quite liked it. This may well be the best song on it. However they all seem very pleased with themselves. They clearly haven't been booed offstage by drunkards enough recently. It builds character
Agree with @Sharon C. These women are masters of their craft. Sara Watkins and Aoife have been playing and singing since they were like 10 or younger and they're in their mid-30s, so 20+ years. Sarah Jarosz is a little younger but is on a similar path (started young with music). They've paid their dues. They're not rockstars, so they don't really need the mopey, self-deprecating vibe. Why should they not be pleased with themselves? They're making wonderful music, doing what they love.

Aoife O'Donovan. I'm not the first to call her an American national treasure, and I won't be the last.
Everybody seems to be in their happy place making beautiful music. Chris is quietly ecstatic in the background.

I think Chris is drunk all weekend
Stage manager with the headset behind Chris. He loves it!

There's probably a trail of wildflowers growing everywhere Aoife has been but no one can make the connection because
it takes a whole season to grow.
I love these girls.
One of the finest combinations of musicianship and voice I've ever heard. It's difficult to imagine a better band.
I love watching the reactions of the rest of the cast and crew behind I'm With Her whenever moments like 2:55 happen.
I miss this show, so much.
Me too!😢

Holy Smokes! Chill inducing !
Heard Aoife perform this live in Raleigh a few weeks back. Stunning!
Pure joy. Congrats for getting Grammy.
Just insanely good. I miss this show.
Does "I'm With Her" perform together any more, or have they all gone their own way???

The world lost something when Live From Here went away.
Don't you know it!😢
The reactions of Punch bros and friends in the background makes this even better. I love it. All the people on that stage bleed talent and ear.
Godspeed.
I don't know what's better.... the song or just Chris :D
PIES. Man. The hills & valley's heard that note! Chris really liked it.
Always wonderful performances from these ladies. 🤗😊😍

Awesome song, beautifully sung.

I love this song, you can visualize the couple under the tree, breeze blowing.
Veient la cara de satisfacció de Chris Thile demostra que aquestes tres noies canten meravellosament bé. I'm with them!!

They all have their own strengths--I happen to think Aoife's the best writer, Sarah J is the best player, and Sara W is the best singer--but there's really no weakest link on any of those fronts.
Whoa...AOIFE! She is pure, unadulterated magic.
yes, yes. Thank you.
Yes.
This show was such a gift. Please do a live tour when it's possible, I still love the LFH family

Aoife brings me to tears. Wow.
Bellissima interpretazione del brano di julian lage dal fantastico trio.

Ok so you knew shut up to mouthy friend in my dreams.
I got the album and quite liked it. This may well be the best song on it. However they all seem very pleased with themselves. They clearly haven't been booed offstage by drunkards enough recently. It builds character
That would require them to be bad, which they are not capable of being.
and I've been following Sarah J since she was in HS and is incredibly humble.....
What a ridiculous sentiment.
