First off: Can we discuss how amazing the acoustics are and how well this awesome recording captures them? On top of that you have three amazingly talented people playing absolutely beautiful music. Thank you to everyone who helped do this.
And can we also discuss what a cool sounding instrument Sarah's octave mandolin is, man I love the sound of it. Going to see them next month at a 500 seat theater in Connecticut and I have not been so excited for a concert in quite awhile.

You can hear the foot tapping on the ground because of the platform they are standing on. The microphones are picking it up.
Those microphones are just as big stars of the show as the girls are

I used to think that Sarah J's voice was the signature voice of this amazing group, but the more I listen to Sara W and that soft beautiful aching tone of her voice, I may have to reconsider. In any event the blending of their three voices together is when the magic really happens, it is truly a force of nature.
Three of the classiest and most talented ladies in contemporary, folk, Americana music today.

All three first class musicians in their own right, and together creating more musical magic for their audiences and themselves. So great to see them enjoying themselves doing what they love and giving joy to those that want to listen.

I've seen Aiofe Donovan solo in concert once, but THIS is special! I'm With Her! Amazing.
They are just so consistently good and complement each other so well. I sure hope they continue to play together for a long time. I love listening to them.

this kind of recording isn't easy. The engineer makes it sound so natural, so balanced, so sonorous. Like he wasn't there. Bravo! a triumph of the art.
Saw I'm with Her in Bozeman MT. Stunning vocals, incredibly skillful instrumentalists, entertaining musicians. Every song just soars.
They put on a magical live show. We saw them at the Sheldon in STL and it was like being in my living room... they have such a warm and welcoming aura. I can't wait to see them again.
This earth can sure use more singin angels.

These lovely ladies touch my soul with their voices and songs. We had the privilege of seeing them in a tiny theater in Bloomington, IL a few years ago. Thank you I'm With Her!
I enjoy the sheer joy they beam when playing together as a group as much as I love their music and am in awe of their other worldly talent!
I'm With Her is one of those the-whole-is-much-more than-the-some-of-it-parts bands. Each member alone is amazingly talented, but when they get together some serious magic happens!
All I can say was I was totally blown away listening to this concert.

This is real ARTISTRY. Congrats to the sound engineer and video director. Amazing trio, but what's wrong with these ladies ? No destroyed jeans, no tatoo, no fake boobs, no smoke machine or pyrotechnics, discrete makups, minimal dress code and they CAN sing AND play... I don't even hear any zest of Autotune. How come that possible ? Might the music business lie? When will we have them at Superbowl halftime ?
I agree they're incredible...but even if they did choose to wear distressed jeans or had tattoos or fake boobs, that wouldn't make them any less great as musicians. (Sometimes they do wear heavy makeup, and while they don't use smoke machines or pyrotechnics-wouldn't quite fit their music-they definitely use fancy lighting at the live shows I've been to. It's their choice and has no bearing at all on their talent.)
@@sillystrings Of course, you're right! But what I stated is that, in many cases, smoke machines, autotune and light shows are just here to hide misery

I loved these musicians when they were solo and in other groups, but this is a “Sweet spot”

Americans, at least a lot of them, like community singing or singing in small groups. Whether it is "I'm with her" or CSN&Y. It is part of their culture and inheritance. And they are pretty good at it, like these 3 ladies. It literally brings people together, which is necessary, in general but certainly now.
As real as it gets....... anyone performing at any level , folk, people type music

Saw them in a sold out Paradiso Noord in Amsterdam a couple of days ago and they were incredible! The crowd went absolutely nuts. Woke up the next day with a smile still on my face. So so good. Love them!!!
I was there too : one of the most intense, moving, and simply beautiful gigs I've ever attended. Lovely crowd, perfect venue, perfect performance.

It's nice to see musicians who are actually musicians, not just a bunch of kids afraid of flipping burgers so they'll dilute or piss in the pool instead. Kinda like modern draft dodging. Maybe one day we will treat work like war if we ever get rid of war. So finding good musicians has become an unlikelihood and if you are reading this, you've found gold.
