I remember joining a cruise in Corfu when the ship had to be moved to a different berth due to the inclement weather. When the aircraft door opened, I dived for my coat. Not what you expect! I love your videos and I’m glad your back cruising but I’m also sad because I stared to follow you a few months ago because I applied for a job with NCL and I got hired and approved everything to join a ship on January 2022 but I got COVID and couldn’t travel and I’m still waiting for a reassignment and you have already done one contract and stated the second one! Good luck I wish you the best and wish me luck to receive my reassignment soon! Haha ❤️🔥

Glad you finally made it, and pleased to see the cabin refresh is in place pre-launch - the new wood panelling and stripy cushions bring a bit of colour and texture compared to the cabin I had on Scarlet Lady (although I hear they have recently started upgrading her cabins too). Have a fabulous time sailing around Europe!

I must say Lucy that Mercure hotel in Rome is lovely and the view of the port and out to sea is priceless picture postcard stuf. I work for Accor in Brisbane with Mercure being one of our many brands maybe one day I'll take a holiday in Italy and stay there it looked so relaxing. Hotel employee discounts are deffinatly a perk of the job 😁 Glad to see you finally made it onto the ship after your forced delay from covid. Have a blast on your new contract enjoy your time on Valiant lady. When I used to work as a IT consultant, I sometimes would be told to head to the airport without having been booked a flight. They would just arrange it while I was in the taxi there (our company was about 1 hours drive from the airport). Sometimes I would get my flight info like 3 hours before departure :) So indefinetely know how stressful and exciting this is. Especially now with all the COVID stuff
