In a Bharatanatyam repertoire the most challenging piece is Varnam. Interspersed with Abhinaya and Nritta, a Varnam generally depicts the emotions of the nayaka ever-longing to unite with her lord. This Varnam is dedicated to Sri Venkateshwara praising his glory and seeking his blessings.
