My baby DC2~~~
Thank you again for featuring it!
Thanks a lot!
IKEZO SENPAI!!! #KAERUZOKU
Thank you for sharing it with @carprime to make this amazing content!
Stan’s DC2 is such a great example
Watching DK drive a DC2R is a guilty pleasure, he didn’t need to say a word. Just as fun today as it was 20 years ago.
You listened to the request on the CARPRIME Japanese channel. Thanks so much.
Thanks, too!
As a DC5 owner it was great to see Tsuchiya and Oyu enjoying it and the other cars. Honda in the 90s and 2000s was absolutely killing it. Makes me want to get my DC5 back on track again!
Can you imagine the happiness of the owners when they hear such praise from DK and Oyu? I'd gone flying 🤩❤🔥
What I took most from this is how sincere and down to earth these guys are. They are very different than the people that test these type of cars for American videos. It’s refreshing to see.
I love how they are happy when riding these cars.
Arigato gosaimasu! Very happy to see Mr. Tsuchiya enjoy the classic Honda Type R DC2 and EK9.
Maybe for future video Mr. Tsuchiya can experience EK9 or DC2 with new K20 or K24 engine.
These videos are so fun! Thank you.
Yesssss VTEC legends
thank you for having english subtitles! I watch all these videos from the US. Keep making these awesome videos!
Thanks for making this video and sharing the history about Honda.
It’s make me happy to see Tsushiya liking the Honda it make me happy very much
Legendary cars, the ek9 b16b noise is absolutely phenomenal, the Dc5 would be more suited once you’ve owned the older generation models 😃 cracking cars love them all, faz
Its been a long time I didnt pay a visit to this channel because of exam. Guess I will watch all of the video I missed.
Dc2 and ek9 are the most pure Honda VTEC automobiles.
Love these discussions thank you. Watchers should try share these, more views means more english translation videos.
Top content! Arigato!
Great video! I currently have a DC5 so I was cheering for that but I used to own a DC2.
Love how these guys drive these cars!!!! Pushing to the limits!!!
Nice to see the king back in a race suit!
Missed the ACCORD TYPE R - CH1
They where not made in Japan..they where made in UK sk that's why. In Japan there was the Euro R CL1. But i agree with u i missed the Ch1 to.
fajne połączenie doświadczenia i młodości , fajne 😀
Very nice video 👍🏾🚗🚗👍🏾👍🏾
so awesome.
I'm surprised the FD2R is not featured here.. the last JDM made Type R Civic before FK2 came
Nice video. Please make one about non type R but tuned like Nsx , S2000 and 4th gen Prelude vs typeR Hondas.
Pure vtec sound 🔥
I love K series but B series still the best ones 🤩🥰 B18C perfect engine
As a EP3 owner i feel disapointed because DK didnt say anything positive about the car. And Oyu drove it faster than DK.
To be fair, you need to modify the EP3 really well in able for it to be competitive/enjoyable. Not sure about the mods but the DC2/DC5 seemed to have alot more.
Almost like he didn’t want to like the ep3 because it wasn’t Japanese enough
You must know something. The Japanese are proud of their manufacture, but the EP3 is faster than the Integra in any case, if it is the JDM version. You can watch the clip on RUclips, and if you are talking about the European version, the difference is slight in acceleration, or almost the same thing, but in the track, the Japanese version is better Absolutely The engine is same, with only a few minor parts and every part in the car is made in Japan and the K20A2 engine is better for a bossted
legends❗
Hi CARPRIME, Can review a Honda Accord Euro R CL7, Thank you
Not a 4 door in sight 😌
pure typer
Any of these cars are infinitely cooler than the fl5
Got that right. FL5 is a boring piece of trash.
@@Incendia amen to that
All the true classics are better than what is being made now.
Oh yeah?! Im sure you never owned one of these. And the moment someone offers you a free FL5 you will take it like it's your life
@@Dranreb865 u just salty u bought a 40k+ car that isn't worth anything 10 years later cause there's nothing special about it.
The blue gt86 is doing good laps too.
Its a shame Toyota didnt drop a modern 2litets 4age to compete with the k20. I sure the old k20 is better in perfomance and reliable than the more modern fa20 subaru\toyota.
cool seeing these cars again, should teach Ooyu how to downshift properly, he doesn't rev match
What is driftking on the jdm spec ep3 engine was the same used in dc5 type r and transmission . The European ep3 type r used same engine as type s 200hp only. The engines were shipped to uk from Japan to use in the jdm ep3. Please let him know lol
neat
I'd love to see what mr Tsuchiya thinks of a ek9 with a tuned k20a2... unbelievable together i love mine! 250hp revs to 8800rpm lightweight and amazing around a race track
He did drive and review them 20 years ago. Watch the (early) 2000's BestMotoring/HotVersion/VTEC Club videos.
now the young kid can see and feel what a real car feels like on the track
vtech just kickin y0
Someone seriously needs to teach Toshiki how to drive. Every time, his bad steering habits show up
The real Type R Vtec spirit ended at the Fn2 Fd2r Sadly!
DC2,DC5, EK B16B, EP type R 😍
They said on video EK had 1.8 so likely B18C
21:31 the king himself said it haha
Me as an ignorant teenager: "FWD is trash!"
Me as an adult: "DC2 Honda Integra Type R is my favorite car."
他動画だと、電パワの分だけロス少なくて直線早かったような?
The EP3 sold in Japan was assembled in the UK, shipped to Japan without an engine, where the engine was then fitted at Honda in Japan. That’s why the JDM version has the K20A and the version sold in Europe has the K20A2.
Didn't the JDM version get an LSD box instead of an open diff that the Euro spec cars got. There are a few JDM spec cars that were re imported into the UK too.
Actually the engine was shipped from japan to UK and then the whole car was shipped to japan once assembled.
Juste like with the Accord Type R (Ch1)
I like the fd2 more😂😂😂
The EP3 is faster on the track if they have the same engine japanese version
classic driver vs new gen driver
If the EK was spoon it would be 10/10
FD2R would've made this 👌👌
FD2 us the best.... why not here???
Since both cars have the K20A, could it be that the DC5 engine is tuned and the EP3 is not?
Maybe so. Both of them are owned cars so condition and tuning might be the difference.
@@CARPRIMEENGLISHCHANNEL That is true. The comment by Tsuchiya-san saying the engines being crafted by the Japanese vs British was too funny. I think if both were 100% stock the DC5 is not that much quicker!
@@ep3kouki The Ep3 motor is just the same, built in Japan and shipped to UK
I think it is, as stock the ep3 was faster than the stock dc5 in this video: ruclips.net/video/A8ilwQSMIfw/видео.html
@@ArtVandelayOfficial same motor, but different intake and exhaust manifolds. The ep3 designed for low to mid torque increase, dc5 more high end power. 4-2-1 for the ep3. 4-1 for the dc5. 4 runners for the ep3. 2 runners for the dc5. Dc5 has much the same set up as the fd2. Personally I’m a fan of the ep3…just a preference
Can't beat old school Honda R's.
Special feeling when driving these on the limit.
FD2は?
Ep3
Racedriver and don’t even know InteR DC2. Ugh
And he owns a S2000 already 😄
idk why he doesn't know
different generations, my granpa could not believe i did not know some formula 1 cars he watched as a teen but its just natural.
@Incursus yeah I understand, but as a racedriver. Come on. Do your homework.
EP3 - "ahhhhhh, it feel like British people put this engine together. *Sniggers*". Hmmmm, embarrassingly the K20A was made in Japan and sent to the UK to be installed in the JDM cars. The UK had the K20A2 engine, but apart from the mild racism, slating the Brits, which is fine, I enjoyed the video. Fun fact. Japans never produced a single F1 championship winning car or driver, Britain has had many. Ouch!
The first part of your comment regarding the K20A is correct, in that the Japanese market received the Japanese made engine.
Honda has produced championship winning engines for Mclaren and Red Bull though, so you may want to reconsider your thoughts!
@@jacobbeattie650 I’m aware of Honda’s history in the 80’s. I’m a massive fan of Honda’s, I’ve owned (and own) many. I was maybe a little annoyed with the presenter’s attitude toward Britain and our ability to produce quality engineering. The UK is the motorsport epicentre, because our engineering ability is right up there.
ruclips.net/video/A8ilwQSMIfw/видео.html, interesting that the Integra was faster, in this video when it first came out the civic is actually faster!
@@chickennn7830 Very good video. Thanks
