Nice twist to the cheesy 80's video effect. It especially complimented the guitar solo segment. The song is definitely one of my top 3 off the album, so I'm glad to see a video for it. Thanks for one of my favorite albums of 2014! : )

I saw Ex Hex perform live night before last while out on tour with King Tuff. I had no idea who they were, but was blown away by their performance. Such a rockin' band! from start to finish. I now love them! cannot get enough. Do not miss the opportunity to see this group perform live; you will be glad that you did! And while you are at it purchase their new album; it is 32 minutes and 59 seconds of pure bliss.

La banda liderada por Mary Timony (Sleater-Kinney y Wild Flag) se ha dejado llevar por la nostalgia de aquellos años y ha dado con la fórmula perfecta para hacer un disco fresco y cautivador. Ellas han dicho que el disco trata de "chicos malos, esos que se peleaban en el patio del colegio y después te robaban la cartera", pero la verdad es que hay mucho más. Doce canciones que no aburren en ningún momento, repletas de riffs y solos. Mary Timony se une a Betsy Wright y Laura Harris, en un disco directo, de buen rock. Muy disfrutable.

At first I was surprised at the new, poppy, retro (& happy?) direction of M. Timony. Check out Helium & Mary Timony's solo records for indie medieval moodiness. (Props to Tom Scharpling/the Best Show for turning me onto Ex Hex). Btw~ long time crush on M. T$ - you've still got the magic!!

I don't watch videos (no offense), I just listen to the music. On its own, this music could be 1978, 1982, 1995, 1999 -- and look below, no one can agree what it reminds them of. This album is so terrific I'm weeping as I type this, and people haven't weeped while they typed stuff since 2004.
