- I've created 50 Brand New Patches for you to load into your Arturia MiniFreak V and MiniFreak Synthesizer. Covering Basses, Leads, Pads, Polysynths & SFX.
Inspired by the sounds of my vintage synthesizers like the Oberheim OB8, Sequential Prophet 5, Moog Multimoog, Roland Jupiter 4 and many more.
Harnessing the flexibility and power of the various Sound Engines contained within the MiniFreak, I'm really loving what this little beast can produce!

I still use your Doctor Who theme cover as my ring tone. It's better and cleaner than any of the original versions, and EVERYONE recognises it immediately.

I thought the MiniFreak would be more popular due to the popularity of the MicroFreak and resolving many of its main limitations, but maybe it'll just take time for it to catch on.

Hey Luke, I love your work. Most of my vintage synths are bought bc of you! What brand 3 tier stands are you using? I know they're not jaspers. I'm having a hard time finding good ones.
I use quiklok 3 tier stands. The ones I have are quite old tho and the newer ones seem to be a little different.

Have you used the Yamaha reface dx or other reface synths?
You have any thoughts on them compared to the real deals? The reface dx can be as low as like 2.5 or 3 used but real dx are like 5 or 6 with 2 more operators
Haven’t used any personally but have heard good things.
Novice questions here: does the hardware version of this synth provide better analog sound than the software version ?
If it doesn't, what's the advantage of having the hardware version, provided I have a great midi controller already ?
The hardware has an analog filter and A/D converters which adds more character to the sound. Both are great in terms of sound design.
Will there be a "light" Version for the MicroFreak?
I don’t have a Micro but if I get my hands on one I might make a bank for it too!
Have you ever used YAMAHA MM6 in you studio?
Can’t say I have.
this cannot be used with the minifreak standalone??
Yes it can. You use the software version to transfer to the MiniFreak when it’s connected 😀

Can you filter out the top end of the intros? For people with damaged ears it can be quite painful.
Will these work on the VST version?
Yes! The bank can be loaded into all plugin versions of the MiniFreak V
